I don't know what my levels were - apparently they were 'ok' before the EPU, but by the time we got to ET the OHSS had set in. I really hope you don't hyperstimulate .
Rest up and make sure you keep your clinic up to date with any changes in how your feeling etc, so they can manage it as well as possible.

I'm afraid the news I have isn't good. I've had OHSS twice quite badly. The first time, my final E2 level before trigger (half dose as well) was 14500. 26 eggs and I was off work for three weeks and very weak when I went back. Transfer was off the table as soon as I came out of EPU. The second time I hit 15000, we got 32 eggs and I spent a week in hospital. I was off work for a month. I tried to go back after three weeks, made it for half a day and then spent another couple of days at home before school ended for the year so I really don't know how long it would have been off work. Once again, no transfer.

That said... I do have severe PCOS, which makes me quite prone to OHSS. I also have an unbelievably slow recovery rate due to another health condition of mine, so just because I got it really badly and spent that long off work doesn't necessarily mean the same will happen for you. However, I will say that it doesn't look good for you getting to transfer.

But... the story of my third stim cycle, where we managed to keep levels under 9000 and I got my fresh transfer - I still got OHSS, but nowhere near as badly as previously. But it was a right pain as that transfer worked and I was in pain, weak, tired, bloated up until about 15 weeks. From my experience, OHSS isn't something you want to mess with, and I know just how devestating it can be to miss out on transfer, but in a lot of ways, if your OHSS risk is that high, you really don't want to be pregnant in that state.

Anyway, after all that - I do know of women who have had more eggs than me and have had higher E2 levels than me who have not gone on to develop OHSS. It all comes down to the sodding PCOS.

In one of my cycles my level was about 16000 pre-trigger. I was not advised to half the trigger so had the full one. I didn't get OHSS but I do recall being more sore/tender after EPU than previous cycles.

My clinic was concerned about my levels as they were higher than what they felt was ideal, but I guess it just goes to show, everyone responds differently and reacts to different levels in different ways.
