I've just had my 5th embryo transfer.
I'm looking for things that others may have done, after a FET, that resulted in a successful implantation.
I know that not everything works for everyone, but some positive 'tips' to stop me from googling would be helpful.
:-)
You might not want to hear this but I really think there is nothing you can do, or not do, that will make an iota of difference. If it is a good embryo and your lining is good, it will implant.
There are a million stories out there saying do this, don't do that...and a million more saying do or don't do the exact opposite.
I know you want to be able to influence the outcome but I really don't think there is anything you can do to change things.
If it's meant to work it will. Which, if you think about it, is comforting because it means there is nothing you can really do to prevent it working either iykwim.
Yeah, I have to agree with N2L. We did nothing special for our successful transfer (our 5th transfer, by coincidence). In fact, one of the most popular "tips" is to stay positive and I did the complete opposite - I was depressed and verging on a nervous breakdown due to stress (it was a very bad month for us for non-TTC reasons on top of the usual IVF stress). There is only so much we can do (eg use progesterone as directed and give the bungee jumping a miss) and the rest is out of our hands.
Agree, with N2L, if the Embryo is going to stick, it will x
Go for a nice walk at least once a day, keep that blood flowing down there
Good Luck and Best Wishes xxxxxx
Best of luck on your journey Footsteps
Have you joined us in the LTTTC AC thread?
I wouldn't have gotten through any of my cycles without those amazing ladies!
I took a couple of days off and watched TV all day long, comedies mostly so I was happy and relaxed. When are you testing Miss Serial POASer???? lol. GL lovely, I hope this is IT for you hun xoxox
Hehehehe I think we are both POAS queens hun! lol. In my last cycle I was testing 2 or 3 days after the transfer to see when the trigger was leaving the building how bad is that? lol. I usually try and test at least 6 days post transfer (especially a blastie). FX hun!!
