    Abnormal morphology

Hi I am new here. Me and Dh have been ttc for almost 2 years now. Everything on my side shows normal and my OB put me on clomid this month just to help out a little.
My DH was diagnosed with Oligo tetaratospermia....his sperm count was at 10.6 M/ml which is boarderline value. The doctor put him on clomid because he has low T. 3 months later his sperm count went up to 40.6M/ml and his T level went up 3 folds.
Our problem is the morphology. We were advised to do IVF/intracytoplasmic/ICSI. Aside from the cost( we can afford it but it is a lot of money), I am worried about the things that I read online about the negative outcomes of ICSI.
I also read that doing IVF/ICSI using sperms with morphology issue is a risky deal and a miscarry is very common.
Please help me stay sane and please help me not loose hope.
Because of what we read, we have made a decision to clean up our diet and get rid of the toxic cleaners in the house. As much as it scares me, we have decided to start a healthy lifestyle and see if his issue gets resolved. Any of you had the same issue as us? I wanna know there is hope for us or not.
    Thank you.

Hi inday's wish. Welcome to Belly Belly.
I can't help you out about info on ivf but have you and your partner been tested for the MTHFR genetic defect? It could be part of the challenge with TTC.

    Re: Abnormal morphology

Thank you for the comment. Not yet, they were still focusing on my DH's low T issue and sperm issue. Hopefully next visit we can speed things up.
