i have had a horrible night

i went to bed feeling really off and tired and i was woken up at 4.30am this morning with server pain, it felt like my ovaries and baby making stuff were beging twisted and being pulled out of me, it was so painful. i couldnt stand up straight as it felt like i was tearing, it was so horrible it was like gravity was trying to pull my ovaries out. i stayed at home for as long as i could but the pain was to bad so i went to hospital at 6am and they were no help at all, they gave me some pair relief and said that they were not going to call the doc as they had a very busy night and my condition wasnt life threatening so they said go home and try and get in to your gp, so i am hoping that my gp can fit me in at 1pm.

i just dont know what is going on?? the pain has gone but i am still very tender to touch, if anyone has experienced something similar would really love to hear from you?? i am only 5dpo so i dont think it would be implantation and i couldnt imagain implantation being so painful like that?? well i hope its not anyway???

    would appreciate any feed back

    take care

Do you think there is any chance you could be pregnant?

It might be cysts! I would be speaking to your doctor and getting a scan to see what's going on.

    Hey

well i went for a scan yesterday and i have a cyst on my right ovary, he said its a good size ( 11.3) i dont know if thats in cm or not he just said 11.3 everything else he was measuring was in cm so i dont know?? he also said that there is a lot of pcos in my ovaries, well actually left one as he couldnt see the right one cos of the cyst. i have know for yrs that i have pcos and have had hundreds of scans but yesterday was the first time i have seen that many at once in the one ovary.

i go back to doctor wednesday to have a talk.

i am still in a lot of discomfort and i have had the worse leg aches and my lower back is killing me? i was given penedine forte to help with the pain but today with my legs and back it hasnt seemed to help??

i am sick of feeling sore, i havent been feeling right since i ovulated and my nipples just havent let up. my boobs arent sore or anything just my damn nipples ( driving my crazy) the moment i take my bra off it makes me want to cry
i dont know why there sore? stupid things

anyway i just thought i would let you all know how things went and just want to say thanks for all your replies

    M2C,

The measurement 11.3 would definitely have been centimetres. And that is definitely a fair-sized cyst, your poor love

I've had a 7cm cyst before that didn't cause me any pain, but that's much smaller than 11cm! The PCOS that was seen on your scan could also definitely be causing you pain also, and the side effects like v.sore BB and back/leg aches, especially if it's more extensive that previously seen.

I hope your appointment with the doc goes well, hang in there hun :hugs: Try drinking lots of water - it's your body's best natural defense against pain, and anything that helps you with your pain levels at the moment is useful.

Take care, lots of hugs to you

i am seeing the doc on thursday so hopefully he will be able to help sort things out

I just thought of another thing M2C, since you mentioned diaorrhea also, and the heaviness, and I didn't realise that you've had mild endo (in your signature - don't know how I missed it! )

Make sure you ask your doc whether your endo could be getting worse - it's not always able to be seen on a ultrasound (actually, not usually) and if it has extended to your ovaries, and even to your bowel it could be what's giving you diaorrhea and the extreme pain in the general area. Especially if your a few days away from AF and your symptoms have happened after O, when your endometrial tissue is at its thickest. It could also explain your other side effects.

Good Luck, hun. Let us know how the doc's appointment goes. Will be thinking of you.

    :hugs:
