Anyone else in the TWW period??

Im thinking collection was the 15th so take that as o and AF would be due about the 29th. I just feel that AF pain and its also in the back. My bb's are still sore but that could just be pre AF. I so hope we dont get AF. I was looking forward to being pg with you hun. Would have been fun!!! Good luck to us hey girlie??

CAH - did you have your IUI on Tuesday? I think we had it the same day!
I have had bad cramps (like AF cramps) since the day of the IUI aswell... its strange, I wonder why we get them!
I feel a little bit better today, but I am just so anxious waiting!
Hey - BG - how was the booster shot? When I had the one to make me ovulate on Monday, it really hurt - does the Luteal Booster shot hurt aswell? I have to have my first one on Saturday.... xx

Hi Missy - yeh, im feeling much better today! Its just the nerves now. I know what you mean though - when you have that 'gut' feeling that AF is coming - you wish it would just happen so that you can get on with things. It really drives you crazy hey?
I spoke to DH last night about doing a HPT - obviously not yet, its WAY too early for me. But my BT just happens to be my actual 28 day due date... so, surely I could use one of those tests that work up to 5 days before you are due?? He doesnt want me to - he wants me to just wait. His reasoning is... we have waited this long - what is another 2 weeks?? To test - or not to test... lol

Karena thats what I used yesterday one of those CHEAP 5 days before HPT and negative!!
It is so hard to stay positive and focused at the very pointy end of the cycle. Can being pg give you period pains???? Have had them for 2 days now and no Af yet. Like Missy, if it is gunna come hurry up! But dont come!! hehehehe, am going mental lol

Well Pain is getting worse. Sheeesh its driving me crazy. The only things is I have a tingling feeling in my breast that I havent had before. Have any of you ladies had that with af coming????

Blayz yes you can get pain when your pg. Feels like AF but not as bad. I think mine is af not pg

Blayz, I wouldnt know for sure - because I have never been pg - but... my MIL and Aunty keep telling me everytime I get cramps with AF that I could be pg because they had the same type of cramps when they got pg (they have been wrong with me so far). So - apparently, yes, the pain is similar!
Which just makes things worse really ... because not only do you have cramps, but you STILL dont know!!

Missy - nope, no tingling with AF for me...

One thing I am having real problems with atm - is planning anything. I am from Perth and I want to go there to see my family - but, I have to wait before booking. If my IUI hasnt worked this time, then we will have to wait - because we will want to get straight back into starting IUI again. Also, I have been hating my job for over a year now - but havent wanted to change since we started TTC - just 'incase' I got pg. Is anyone else feeling like this? I guess everyone is - our entire lives are on hold... for something that might or might not be happening! Its rough!! :( (sorry - venting)

Oh karen vent away hun. Id stay with the job as you could fall pg very soon. I know that if the ET doesnt work ill be booking straight back in when this af shows to get my last 2 embies put in. No time to wait. My clock is ticking....

OMG me too, I am feeling homesick and wanna go home for a visit but cant plan it as I might need IVF treatment!!! I guess we have to look at what is most important to us and do what ever our heart desires. It is evry hard when you are looking at changing jobs though as you could fall striaght away and only give that employer 8 months. I cahnged jobs but told my employer I wanted to start a family he was great about it and so far I have been here 15 months with no baby in sight!! so he has got more time outta me than I planned! But you are having treatment now so i am sure it wont be long for you. Hang in there chicky.

well, i'm in the AF cramp brigade - and yet it's different to what i'm used to - i seriously feel like some big burly bloke has lined the right side of my stomach up and landed a sucker punch in there! hurts like hell - but not all the time!! i'm thinking it's related to the booster shot yesterday (karena, i have no issue with pain from the actual needles, but i'm blaming the hcg in the booster shot for making my tum hurt and making me queasy again!!)

Missy and Blayz - i'm really hoping that what you're feeling is something a lot more special than AF!!

Im still in abit of pain but it seems to come and go. Still feels like AF but still nothing happening. Susee did tell me that the crinone can hold up the AF coming so maybe that is what is happening to me. AF wants to come but cant.

i thought you were going to try to stay on the positive band wagon! that's starting to sound like a defeatist in there! c'mon hun - how many people have we heard saying that they felt like AF when really it was early PG signs! i WILL NOT let you give up hope until the witch arrives!

Im here! And so is she!! WITCH! lol, OMG I am in so much pain. Last night I went into contractions on a scale of 1 - 10 the pain was a 9! I was writhing in bed for 2 hours it would come and go there for 5 mins and no position was comfy then went for 30 secs, i even wanted to call my Mum, I was bawling!! I am not a sook this was bad I felt like I had skipped the PG and gone straight to labour! Very very bad, panamax did nothing, i then took ibuprofen which eased it a bit and I was then able to sleep. Man alive, I never wanna have that again. Today am tired and the body feels wrecked but am dosed up and at work. I wonder how much more I will have to indure on this journey. Am a little negative about it today. So starts the IVF cycle which is a little exciting but overwelming at the same time.
Well girls it is up to you AF stay away from BG and Missy!!!!!

Hi Ladies, I am also on the TWW and can't believe I didn't see this thread earlier!

I had a natural FET on May 17, test date May 30.

I have a DD from a successful IVF cycle in 2005. I didn't use a HPT for #1 as I thought with all the drugs it wouldn't give an accurate reading but I'm very keen to use one this time - just trying to figure out when!

Blayz, I had the same pain when I went through IVF - was in so much pain - how I imagined a contraction to be. When I called the nurse she said it was constipation (yes, I know - lovely). Just another one of the many side effects of progesterone supplements apparently! I was very happy that I didn't need to take supplements this time around - the side effects were awful for me.

Welcome, I had my ET on the 17th too but my bt is 4th. Go figure...How you feeling. Have you got any syptoms. Are you also using crinon gel??? I have a dd nat and ds IVF born 30/1/06. He happened first time doing IVF. I wish you all the luck.

Hi Missy, no symptoms for me - none at all.

Keep feeling BB in hope that they are feeling tender or something but nothing! Was feeling very positive on day of transfer as embryologist was very happy with how well the two embies had grown since they thawed but not feeling so positive now - but I'm sure I'm not on my own there!

Thankfully not taking Crinone this time - hated it last time, I felt so low - I think the side effects called it 'feelings of unworthiness' or something like that - horrid stuff but given the important job it does I'd take it if I had to.

Will prob do a HPT on Sunday or Monday - figure if I leave it any later I may as well wait for BT.

How are you going? Any symptoms? Will you do a HPT early?

Blayz, I should have mentioned that I too am sorry that AF arrived - of course you're feeling negative, it's natural that you would. Fingers crossed that next time you'll get a BFP!!

Can I join the negative club too! I have been so positive but yesterday was a bad day. So many things flying around in my head. I don't know if I have symptoms or whether it is just my head playing games with me. AF is due on Tuesday so I think I will do a test on Monday. I am just nervous that if I get a positive that it might just be the hcg injections. My angel son, Cooper will be 6 months old on Monday so it has been really difficult over the past few days as I am dreading Monday. Whenever an important day is coming I am usually worse the few days before because I just work myself up. I just don't know what I will do if AF turns up on top of coping with Cooper's 6 month birthday.

I hope AF has stayed away from everyone

Lynn - i'm so sorry to hear you've been feeling negative - i can only imagine how hard things are for you at this time. just wanted to pose a question that popped to mind when you posted - you mentioned testing on Monday and also said that Cooper would be six months old on Monday - will it be too emotional to test on Monday? i have my fingers crossed that you will get a BFP - but if it's not, will that make Monday even more difficult than it already is? i guess i'm just wondering if it's better to hold onto hope until Tuesday.... it's such a terribly hard decision to make, i'm sure. hope everything is positive for you, no matter when you test

You are probably right. I should wait until Tuesday. At least this is when AF is due so the test should be correct. I haven't had a 14 day luteal phase. My longest was 11 but that was all on Clomid and my body wasn't responding to it. I've been told not to compare cycles because they are different treatments but I guess I am just looking for any type of positive. Today is 10dp IUI so I really want to get through tomorrow without AF showing her ugly face.

Just a questions - would Sunday be too early? Given that my last hcg injection was yesterday. Would it be out of my system by Sunday so that the test would be right?

what dosage was the booster lynn? was it 1500 iu?

Awww Lynn :hug: hun. Im sorry things are getting you down. I agree with BG, maybe wait till Tuesday to do the test. I really hope you get your BFP. I really want this for you and more that little Cooper 6th month is on Monday. Be sure hun that he is looking from above and feeling at rest. Im sure he is telling himself what a wonderful Mother you are going to make. Try to say pos, but only you can do that at this difficult time. Ill be thinking of you!!! :)

Hmmm not sure Lynn. I tend to think that mybe im telling my self to get sick feelings...it that make sence. I know this happened with DS but I think it was about 1 or 2 days off BT. Hmmm only other thing is that im pg and both Embries took. DOUBLE TROUBLE...lol
