Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry you had to be subjected to that, that is just awful behaviour no matter how you look at it.
It astounds me that someone with such an obvious lack of compassion can in the next breath call themselves a Christian.
I hope you get your much wanted, and much deserved baby soon :hugs:
Holly,
I can't beleive anyone would say that to you, that is simply rude. I am very proud of you for keeping it together so your nephew had a great day. I totally agree with leasha i probablly would have gone up there and tackled her hahahaha. Well done and don't let her comments get you down, you do what you have to do and don't worry about what a silly old bird has to say about it
I have only just read your post and cannot believe that in the 21st century people still think like that! Relative or not, you need to distance yourself physically and mentally from this person in the future - you do not need narrow minded, hypocritical, nasty people in your life, regardless of their motivations, intentions or explanations. Life is too short to have those people around. I am sure many other people at your nephew's celebration will be thinking the same thing. People like her just make us stronger because that is who we are, without hiding behind any rubbish from the bible! Well done on holding it together and remember these sort of people want a reaction - good on you for not giving it to her! You are an amazing lady and an inspiration to many of us here at BB!!
