These damn pesserie gel poo!!! ok so im doing it morning n night like im meant to... And well there is not a nice way to put this but i have heaps of goop..now i can understand and expect some.. But there is heaps!!! I make sure i insert it nice and high and lay down afterwards..
Dh and i just dtd and it was so bad we had to change the sheets.. Would have been about 3 or 4 20c piece size blobs around the place. is that much normal??? Is anyone else using this icky stuff?!?!
Bump! surely someone else is using it or just finished using it...or has used it in the past??
this is the 2nd time I have used it....just this time there is heaps more... i'm hoping my body has absorbed all the good stuff from it and its still working, thats just the leftover stuff.
yeah I have definately had that problem, its pretty gross, panty liners are a must!. I don't even think we DTD while I was on it cos it was too gross.
The worst was when you start to get AF and chunks of it comes out that are brown/red, its repulsive.
I'm on pessaries since I changed clinics but there is still a lot of residual mess, the amounts sound normal to me, the drug gets absorbed but the stuff that comes out must be the 'carrier base' or whatever you call it, so it doesn't go in.

I know exactly how you feel! I was using the horrible stuff last year while dh and I did Icsi.
Sorry for tmi but mine got so bad it wouldn't come out! I actually had to pull it out! It was totally gross but once I got it all out I felt so much better.
It might be worth mentioning that I only started helping it out after we found out we'd had a chem preg, I wouldn't dream of doing it before we knew any results.
I'm in the same situation, on crinone twice a day, just wanted to mention I have always, every two or three days, squatted in the shower and cleaned it out. I don't think cleaning it out makes a difference to getting a BFP and surely couldn't be worse than DTD. As long as hands are clean Wishing you all the best for your TWW xx
Definatly need to clean it out : it is so lumpy and grey and blah, you dont need to go near the cervix - you will find it is quite close to the entrance
Im on the PIO injections in my butt for Prog and they are so painful : I would love have the crinone gunk at this point
I've never had it get to the 'needing a cleanout' stage - but I was only ever on one at night - I think most of it would end up in the loo the next morning (TMI - sorry!) Definitely use a liner. I refused to dtd while taking it, for the reason you've described! Good luck with this one

thanks girls, i did expect some goop but this was just insane, ... now I'm thinking about all the fresh ones i've put in building up inside me...ewwwww
teirae: i'm sure theres other things you can do for DH so he doesn't explode. LOL crinone is just yukky, i hated it. it was the only part of the whole thing i didn't like. it is just horrible and caused me to get thrush too. eek. so so bad stuff.
