Hun, if you search HSG test on here that should bring up quite a few threads
My FS gave me a referral to the hospital he preferred & it was a relatively easy process.
Not comfortable at all, but he also advised me with certain painkillers to take beforehand so it wasn't unbearable

Good luck, for what it's worth I think it's an excellent idea to see where you're at
