24000! That's enormous!

I had 14480 before my EPU, and had OHSS pretty badly. All the embies went to the freezer and we didn't transfer. And I don't think it's something I ever want to go through again. I have never been so sick or in so much pain in all my life.

I'm afraid I can't help with the units, I'm sorry.

But with regards to starting out with lower levels now... They've already seen you hyperstimulate pretty badly and they would be doing everything they can to avoid that happening again. You may find that they will gradually increase your dose and keep watching you closely to make sure things don't get out of hand. It's easier to increase slowly than to decrease the dose when things are already heading out of control. I was started on 15IU of puregon, had very little response (I think my first level after 5 days of injections was 280), was then increased to 300IU, started hyperstimulating and was cut to 200IU, 100IU, 75IU, etc, and my final puregon injection was withheld. The night before my trigger I only injected lucrin to try to keep things low.
