I think you may have missed a line in your post - but I am going to guess that you are considering having two embryos put back in rather than one. (It is the question that most people ask - feel free to tell me that it was something totally different you were asking though LOL)

Each Dr and each clinic are different. Quite often they take age and number of previous cycles into account. But it is something that you would have to discuss with them (making an appointment like you have is a great idea).

Most Drs don't like to do it straight off (unless there is special circumstances like age) because the frist cycle is a bit of an unknown - first FETS are a bit the same, you are never quite sure how you will respond - if you are having a natural FET or a medicated FET cycle.

So long as you are properly informed about the risks associated with multiple births and the stats related to increased chances of pregnancy from a transfer of more than one embryo at least you will be able to have a proper discussion with your FS.
