FET - bleeding 3 days post transfer. Progesterone low

    Hi

Am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I had a FET this last Monday. Yesterday (Thursday) I started to get pink blood stained mucous. Today I started to bleed (small clots etc). I phoned FS who turned out to be overseas. His offsider got me in for a blood test.

They phoned this afternoon to say that my progesterone is only 12 and it should be 30. They also said it is extremely rare to see such a low level on 400mg of progesterone pessaries daily plus even rarer to start bleeding 3 days after transfer (was a 6 day blast).

So it looks like I have got my period due to low progesterone levels.

Anyone else had a similar situation? I feel like the embie never had a chance. FS wants me to take 600mg this weeked until they can do a bHCG. I don't see the point as the horse has bolted.

    Hi there
Have been off air. My period which came 3 days after transfer was a horror. Terrible bleeding for 7 days. Complete period, clots the lot. SO bad couldn't even use progesterone. Expressed my disappointment and anger at the fertility clinic. My progesterone levels were in their hands. I just feel that the embie never got a chance.

On top of that I developed severe acute sinusitis and laryngitis and a truly nasty cough. So I have felt lousy, lousy for the last 10 days.

So don't think I will do anything for a while. Have nothing left in the deep freeze so it would mean a full stim cycle. This makes my fibroids grow really quickly and causes a lot of pain and discomfort. Double edged sword. That's why I was hopeful for a FET.

Never mind. Thanks for wondering about me. It just all seems to take such a long time between cycles etc and at my age I just think I am running out of time.
