ovulation on clomid can happen anywhere from about day 10 onwards - usually later in your cycle - it's supposed to "regulate" cycles, but most people find ovulation happens later, but they have a more appropriate (12days plus) luteal phase

i will just say though, that for some people clomid doesn't work - crazy hormone swings but no ovulation. unfortunately there are more than a few of us here that have been through this. essentially your gyne will check if you ovulated on that dose, may experiment with different doses etc - but they can't guarantee a response - they might need to use something different (like injectible meds) to get your to ovulate
