Just wanted to wish you luck for tomorrow hun. I hope the IVF journey for you is short & you get your long awaited BFP really really soon.

Feel free to drop in for a cuppa while you're here

Um I haven't been to a FS but with my FS/OB appt he wanted to know my full medical and gynie history so just make sure all that is fresh in our mind. Sounds like you have got everything covered. Don't forget your list of questions either. I'd probably also have your doctors contact details incase they want more details on anything you have with you. Don't forget your basics either like medicare card and private health insurance details (if you have it).
I took all my blood tests and DH's SA but my gynie wanted everything retested so don't be alarmed if he wants everything redone. Apparantely some doctors test for different things.

Most importantly wishing you all the luck in the world for you appt tomorrow. Will have everything crossed for you and DH.

Forgot to add he wanted to know DH's full medical history too. And if we had any kids with other people too.

    Hi Nikki,

Just wanted to wish you good luck for your appointment tomorrow. Sounds to me you have all bases covered, if you not sure maybe just give them a call and ask if there's anything else. This is a really obvious one but you need your referral as well.

I took a calender with my recent periods marked on it. He might also ask about both your parents, if they had complications with conceiving or childbirth - so you probably should know that. Also, might need to be prepared for a physical exam down there - if you are starting AC you should get used to dropping your dacks regularly!

    Good luck Nikki!

I also brought all blood test results from when I had CD3/CD21 prog tests etc, all my FF charts, ultrasound images etc.

In the end he decided to do a scan for himself (since he had an interal US machine in his room).

I hope this gives you a new direction and puts you one step closer to that long awaited BFP!

Oh the FS is DR Soo with Westmead...... omg sooooooo soooooooo lovely

OK I have to have another lap and a ummm whats is called..... the camera thingy.... he said i dont have to have a lap done if i dont want but he wants to see whats going on and seen as ill be asleep i said yep go for it if u think we need it.... i need the camera thingy (omg please someone tell me the name lmao its driving me crazy) as my cervix is tight/small and he is worried that with ivf he'll have probs when it comes for the embryo to go in..and also when i was having the HSG the dye didnt fill my uterus so he thinks there is something going on in there.... I cant believe how happy i am to see Dr Soo...... also he said they he will try and unblock my tubes etc.. nothing that my old gyno said.... so im truely truely happy After all that if my tubes are truely blocked then its straight to IVF for us
DP and i had to have a BT done while we were in sydney but other then that its all systems go

(omg and sooo soooo hot in sydney..... give me the coast any day )

Thankyou again to everyone for all your support

Oh hunni, sorry I missed this.... But nice one on the outcome on your appt. Good to know you are being taken care of and in the hands of a specialist, who is going to look at all your options. xo

    Hi Nikki,
I only just found this thread. I was wondering how everything went.
Great to hear you have a plan of attack and sound so positive.

I have my gyno app tomorrow and somehow have to convince him to give me a referral for a FS i have already booked.

Will Dr Soo do your lap and do you know when you are having it down?
