unfortunately, i think if you've made it to BT day and only had a result of 9, it would be termed a chemical pregnancy. i don't think i've heard of anyone having such a low level at 14dpo, that has gone on to have a successful pregnancy - sorry. i've had low hcg results now three times after FET/IUI's all as a result of chemical pregnancies. it is possible to have a low level and have a healthy pregnancy when you have ovulation and implantation occuring later in the cycle than expected, but with IVF, it's pretty much a given when implantation will occur, and i believe the expected hcg level at 14dpo is around 100 or higher (blastocyte transfer is generally lower, but not much). i think from the standpoint that they have seen this often enough, i would trust the clinic when they say that it is not going to progress

having goten the "factual" side of things out of the way, i just wanted to say how truly sorry i am that you have had to go through this. i can understand how much you're hurting as, whether you're pregnant for a few days, a few weeks, or a few months, a loss still hurts like hell
