Our close friends told us today they are expecting their first baby, YAY! So, during our girl talk friend tells me they had been trying for 3 years and needed assisted conception due to PCOS I am so happy for them and I really want to get themsomething special and not overly generic. Do you have any ideas of something we can give them? I know they'll be getting tonnes of stuff, but considering their journey I thought they'd really love a meaningful gift, not just another onesie

We have the exact same situation with our best friends at the moment it's great isn't it?! I waited until their all clear at their 12 week scan & I bought them the set of 'guess how much I love you' books & wrote in them. And a really good baby blanket. Not exciting or original but I love the idea of books & a 'special' blanket. Not just an everyday one xo

There are these beautiful willow tree statues/carvings that I always looked at when ttc. A friend bought me the twins after I got my BFP and I just love them. So much hope and longing and gentleness. Congratulations to your friend xx
