Good fertility naturopath in Melbourne

Kelly, are they naturopathic or normal specialists? Also, where can we go to find out their fees?

I had years of unexplained infertility. I had huge mood swings with Clomid so had to stop it.

I tried a naturopath (Ruth Sharkey before she retired) - it didn't work.

I had been told twice (in two different relationships) by FS's that I needed IVF.

I tried Vitex and had two pregnancies whilst on it but both resulted in early miscarriages. If you google miscarriage and Vitex you will find a lot of anecdotal evidence that a lot of women have early losses while using it.

I tried using EPO at 3 times the usual dose for a week before O (stopped when I could tell I'd O'd by temping) and conceived the first time I tried it. I very rarely saw any EWCM but got it when I used the EPO. Unfortunately I was also on Vitex at the time and bubs did not stick.

I am 38 weeks pregnant at the age of 42 (wasn't doing anything to aid conception at the time of conception) and I believe the reason I suddenly started to get fertile at such a late age was cutting out trans fats from my diet. Google it and infertility and you will see studies that have linked it to infertility in some women. Just a couple of months after eliminating it from my diet I started to have success. I do not believe it was a coincidence.

I wish you the best of luck and encourage you to keep trying natural methods as medical methods don't work for everyone.

Not sure what you mean? They are naturopaths with lots of experience!!! One has a certificate in natural fertility education. Also traditional chinese medicine practitioners can also help a great deal with fertility, two of them have been working with leaders in their field in fertility and unexplained infertility.

That's a difficult one

We are fully trained Naturopathic physicians, who have studied Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Wellness Analysis etc.

We are normal (I hope), but definitely Naturopaths, not normal specialists.

Ahhh I see what you mean. All therapies can specialise - Nicole as above has her certificate in fertility education and thats what she specialises in, fertility. Also our TCMS specialise too - Justin has been working with a leading expert in the field and Sharmaine has been working with someone who has an outstanding track record working with unexplained infertility - so they do extra learning and experience to specialise in fertility. Hi Stillhoping - I am another advocated for Fertile Ground in Melbourne. I have been going there since January - one month after my late loss. I see a naturopah (Gina) and Kinesiologist (Amanda). They specialise in women's health and fertility. Good luck!

Me too. As long as we are all clear that there is a difference between a medically qualified fertility specialist (ie. those who practice in assisted conception technologies), and a naturopath specialising in fertility.

I'm not knocking naturopaths by any stretch, but the distinction needs to be made.
