Had Egg Collection today and....

My gosh what an experience (saying no more lol). Well it was good in the fact they managed to collect 15 eggs wahoo, they said they look great too. I shall find out in the morning if they have fertilized, they are doing icsi so we hopefully will have a good number of embies.
So im still in pain, but resting up so i should heal in no time. We plan to do ET on monday so they will be 3 day embies.
Thanks for all your support in the thread i added lastnigt. I was getting very anxious of the "unknown" if you like as this is my 1st ivf/icsi cycle.

The unknown always causes anxiety, Georgette. And we're all here to support each other. Well done on those egg numbers! Rest up, drink lots of gatorade (it really does help!) and take care of yourself.

Will be looking forward to hearing how the fertilisation and transfer goes.

Thanks BW, sorry im not sure what gatorade is.. im going to look online to see if we have something similar here in the UK. thanks for the advise because paracetamol really isnt working.. i want to get myelf back to normal by monday.

Hi gals, just an update....
I just had a call from the embryologist and she said that out of the 15 eggs only 2 were not fertilised (1 wasnt looking good and the other was not mature enough)
So they fertilised 13 and 12 fertilized and made it through the night.. what a great result.
So right now we have 12 embies. im having 2 "put back in the oven" on monday at 11.40am. and the others that look good will be frozen. im so happy so far and feel really positive..
thanks to you all... oh and i got some of those drink, hopefully i will feel better very soon.

Thanks dusty.. im really happy too, i just wish i could shift this pain alot faster, im using heat pads, paracetomol and energy drink, but its only shifting very slowly.. i hope it wont affect et and the results...
got my fingers crossed i will feel better by tmrw.. im just resting today as DH has took his nephew on a fishing day trip.

sorry you so sore. you had lot of eggies to pick up!
i am grumpy today, got a flu. i had a good whinge in my journal and feel a bit better now. trying to help DH out with purchasing some solar panels on line but want to go back to bed soon.

i have had two ET and they were both fine and quite exciting. so i hope it goes well for you too. hope you have a lovely autumn sunday
