Another HyCoSy question.....

So I had my dye test yesterday, it was awful and painful! Long story short my cervix was too small for the catheter. After what seemed like ages, finally got it in and find out it's faulty. So had to take it all out and start AGAIN.

Question is: How much/long do you bleed for? I bled lightly yesterday and today I am still spotting a little on a panty liner, but more when I wipe.

Is this normal?

After my second IUI, I was bleeding like AF, and it lasted a day. She had trouble getting the catheter in. It HURT. But it went away quickly. I hope the bleeding stops soon .

Thanks Maruschke, because the dye test hurt so much I am panicking about the IUI next year! I don't want any more poking down there!!

Im scared too now coz i have a very lowwwwwwwwwwww pain tolerance! LOL

My suggestion mum2one is to take some pain relief 15 minutes before you go in, like a period pain tablet, it will take the edge off

Tash sweets, an IUI is pain free compared to a dye test, and the bleeding will settle, you may spot for longer as they pocked around for longer ... Ahhh the joys !

Sorry chick that sounds yuk, I had 3 spots of blood while wiping in the room after the procedure and that was it!

I had no spotting at all that I can recall, maybe some pink tinged cm. Mine also hurt a lot How were your tubes?

PZ my tubes were all ok, no blockages. But I am still spotting today, it's very light, but still showing up on a panty liner ?

Hi Tasha, I spotted for about 4 days after mine. It was really light the first 2 days and then I freaked out a bit on the 3rd because it was heavier, but after 4 days it went completely.
