IUI and Semen question

Hi, I was just wondering what happens in IUI when you need fresh swimmers? So DH will obviously come with me, but does he 'produce' them in the next room? Or can 'we' produce them at home?

We produce at home and have 2 hours to get it to the clinic.

DH was producing sample last thing before we left home to go to clinic - and we had about a 70min trip. apparently it has to be a certain amount of time to liquify (i think it's 40 mins) before it can be centrifuged anyway...

check with your clinic

Just so you know, my clinic has an hour cut off. My DP does it there. They have a lovely selection of magazines and DVDs to help including ( and I am not kidding) a couple of fishing and golfing mags
