I'm assuming you would want to find a clinic in QLD, but if costs seem too high and you want to consider interstate, we're in the processing of waiting to start our first cycle of IVF through Westmead Fertility Clinic (located west of Sydney). Upfront cost is $1450 - we've reached the medicare threshold (70-80% whatever it is) and our dr says we should end up with about $1100 back in our pocket after the cycle is completed. The $1450 includes eveything, bed for egg collection, medication, etc... Westmead Fertility Clinic have a website if you want to know more. Luckily we live in Sydney and it wasn't until after we'd been referred there, that I realised how fortunate we are cost-wise for treatment. Maybe just another option for you to consider...
