I have only ever been on Letrozole for the same reasons. I have been on 2.5mg and always only ever had one dominant egg, the rest were just little cysts. However, I do believe it depends largely on the dose you are on because my cousin just had boy/girl twins with Letrozole or maybe she was just unlucky. I think there is only a very very small chance at twins with 2.5mg.

I had some side effects the first cycle eg headaches, hot flushes and mood swings, but my recent cycles I have only noticed I was more tired. Also the side effects only ever last for the days that I am actually on the drugs, where as Clomid I believe the side effects last until you ovulate.

I haven't been successful yet but DH has issues too.
