Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception 2012 July

Hi everyone!

Good luck for tomorrow Mrs Mac;)

N2L I get 3 injections from 1 vial of filgrastim. They have 100mcg/0.33ml per syringe if that helps, to save me going every three days I get 6 syringes at a time which is 2 vials for $345 so I would say each vial would be about $173.

Sorry if I have confused you, I get them from Slade pharmacy @ the Epworth hospital in Richmond (I was told that this was the only place I could get them from- not sure if that's right or not!) it's a pain in the butt to get to, being that it's on bridge road & I go on the way home so traffic is crap! You have to order them 2 days in advance as well, so each time I pick them up I order the next lot:) I'd forget otherwise! Lol

I ended up getting all of my scripts there this time, it was just easier & they are really helpful. They were a little snippy the first time because I didn't know you had to order in advance but they have been really good since!

I had my scan & BT on Friday I have to go back tomorrow for another one. My nurse seemed to think I would be taking the trigger tomorrow night though. I have a work conference that is compulsory on Wednesday & Thursday, looks like EPU will fall on one of those days so I'm not looking forward to telling my boss:( I'm hoping he will be ok with it, tuff luck if he's not;)

N2L - Are you having the biopsy that I had? The Pipelle Biopsy? Mine cost $60.00 and done in gp office.

Well if you haven't had the hysteroscopy before that makes it more confusing.... I'd be tempted too... But I think going by what the new FS said it may not be worth it. Esp. As its costly and he doesn't think he needs it to help you....

Well I'm in here to whinge tonight :(

A friend announced her pregnancy on FB tonight :( which feel worse because she is seriously about twice my size. She must be 150kgs or something like that. I am happy for her. But it's not fair that my weight is an issue and it isn't for others.

Hmpf. Good thing my brain isn't in the pits of despair like it was three weeks ago!

:( myturn....I know how you feel with that one. Do you mind me asking how old she is? That might be the difference.

Same age as me. Older by a month. She has had one before though. I think they've been off the pill since then and the little one is three. So.... It's probably taken her a while. Just sucks.

Myturn I hear you! We have had 3 friends announce in the past week they are expecting number 2, we can't even get number 1. It can be so unfair sometimes!

Myturn big hug for you, I completely understand about the weight thing, we work so hard to try and loss it and we still can't get pregnant. Unfortunately we are all different and what isn't an issue for some is for others.
I have found for me with my friends that got pregnant that when they announced it I was a mess, during their pregnancies I coped and now they are all having their babies I am a mess again :-(

I have EPU on Thursday, so I trigger tomorrow night:) thankfully I only have to go to my conference on Wednesday now so it means I'll be able to have an extended weekend to recover!

I had my BT today- negative.
My FS is on leave, so the nurse will chase up whoever has taken over her patients, to write up an order for me to begin a natural thaw cycle straight away.
The nurse seemed to think it will be fine for a back to back cycle :D

Re: acupuncture- is that something I should do this month or is it more beneficial in a stim cycle?

GL on Thursday Planet Sasha, I hope they get lots of nice eggies and nice embies for you in this cycle :crossfingers:

I would do the acu session before and after your transfer Emma :) GL hunni, I really hope the FET works for you :crossfingers:

Hope everyone is doing okay xxx sorry I'm on my phone and updating the list was a real job! So not much personals today. I used to be so good at those! now I'm just slack!!

Good luck myturn. I am still quietly stalking you. Those new boots sound divine. As for the weight I am the heaviest I have been in a long time and I got pg. I lost a heap of weight, started IVF and after months of putting on a few kilos each cycle and never having the chance to get it off find myself heavy again. Just be good to yourself re the weight issue. Dont stress, but make healthy choices (easier said than done I know). You have done great so far 12.6k is massive and you must be feeling a bit better xxx

AF arrived this morning, so I think I'll take a wee break from TTC to figure out what the next step is. I wish all of you the best of luck in your cycles ladies, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your love an support throughout my IVF journey :grouphug:. It has been a real privilege being part of your journeys too. I will be popping in every now and then to see how you are all going and hoping to see many more BFPs!.
