Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I'm saddened to see some familiar names in here =( It's unfair for you all that I am in here for round 2 while some of you are still here from when I was here last.
Juniper ~ I got AF straight away! Didn't miss a beat, was so close I wasn't even sure I was still PP bleeding or AF had started. Seems a bit of a waste...but I guess if anyone is going to get it straight away, may as well make it someone who doesn't need to worry about contraception.
JoeSpratt ~ I always thought the more tender/bloated you felt when you were stimming the better (to a limit), but mean it was working. FX this is it for you!! and yes, you can never drink to much water!
Kerbear ~ Hope your should recovers soon, what are you getting done to it?
One thing that really surprised me when I went in for my appointment was the girls at the clinic remembered me. They even knew my name before I told them! Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...
All the best to everyone, sending lots of baby dust!!!
Just popping in to say had my scan and my uterus is "absolutely perfect" according to my FS! Lining is 8.9 so all systems go for transfer next Thursday
Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April 2013
That's great news ceejelz I hope your transfer goes well next week xo
TT40 thanks, I had my bone scraped and some bone spurs removed, luckily my rotor cuff was fine. It's amazing how it knocks you around though and how much it limits movement, I would have hated it to be a more extensive surgery. Slowly moving my arm which is great but still have to have it in a sling which is so annoying.
Williever were you trying to get to close to the stick !!!! I cracked up when I read your post, I hope it works and you get your bfp soon xo
Beau- crossing my fingers and toes for you that this is your month x
Lilmisspanda - welcome! its really great to chat with others going through the ttc journey and these lovely ladies are full of wonderful information
TT40 - welcome, hope you have a short stay trying for number 2!
Kel82 - wow that must of been quite confronting! I have heard of a lot of people who got BFPs after cleaning out the endo, so hopefully this is the case for you! Gosh it really makes me think about having a lap too though, not that I have any symptoms but it seems to be quite a common cause for infertility and I feel like I should have it done before going through endless cycles.....hmmm......
Awesty - Ooh fingers crossed you've got a sticky one!!! A lovely relaxing week should be perfect relaxation for implantation!
Ceejelz - thats wonderful news, I love it when they give you a date for transfer
AFM I have my frozen transfer tomorrow! Unfortunately DH can't come so I'm a little bit sad to be going without him, just doesn't feel like something I should be doing on my own, I've asked a friend to come with me but I'm not really sure I want her there either, I'll have to figure it out by tomorrow!
Hi furbabies, if you have a gut feeling you need to go with it, I really am still in shock, I would have definitely kicked myself if we waited till after more cycles. Yep my husband has great hope that we might be able to do this by ourselves now, if not quite quickly with assistance. Who knows but lets just say that my gut feeling of needing to have this done, was definitely my god moment!
Good luck with your FET tomorrow, my husband couldn't come to my last two FET and my mum came with me, she didn't go into the actual procedure but it was good to have someone with me.
Thankyou ladies, I've got my pineapple and brazil nuts ready to go lol
Kel82 I have that same kind of feeling because we have unexplained infertility which really just means they can't find the cause, so there has to be something happening in my body especially since we had a 100% fertilisation rate with our eggs. this FET is a sticky one, if not the other frosty is! Otherwise I might look into having a lap done before going through another egg collection. I've just read some bad things that have happened to poor ladies after botched laps so it freaks me out a little bit!
Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and just wanted to pop by and say hello. My DH and I have been TTC 3 yrs and had our first IVF Feb 2013 which failed so we're starting IVF round 2 in about two weeks. Would love to chat on here for much needed support!! Will anyone be starting around same time? I wish you all the best with your journeys x
DH 35 Me 35
DH severe male factor - me ok
IVF #1 - 15 eggs, 8 fertilised, 2 made it to 5DT - BFN
Furbabies, if you find yourself with no eggs left and still no bub I would recommend you ask for a lap done. As much as it is not much fun to have done, if they find nothing you will probably recover quick but on the other hand if they do find something at least you know why you are having trouble. FX for you.
