I have been asked to come in for a second BT tomorrow. Not too sure why. Have been low since call yesterday to advise of BFN and not thinking straight.... anyone else know of this or had this before?

    Hi everyone,

Just a gentle reminder and clarification.

The only signatures/tickers that are against the rules are the ones that contain references to pregnancy.

Ones doing a countdown to the next IVF cycle are fine.

Any questions, please contact Lenny, Marcellus or me.

    Regards

    Seachange

    Hi lovely ladies

Hope you're all doing well and hanging in there!

Sorry no persies for me tonight, just a quickish post - the results are back, and it seems to be a BFP!

Haven't picked myself up off the floor since the phonecall! The HCG was 96, which the nurse said was just under what they'd like (100), so I have to go back on Monday for a follow-up BT to confirm. Trying to keep a lid on the excitement, but hopefully all will be well. No more spotting since yesterday, so thats a good start.

My other levels were trying to make up for my slightly lacking HCG - E2 was 21000, and P4 was 1013, so no more pessaries, woohoo! Downside is that my thyroid is starting to play up already, so I swap the progesterone for thyroxin. A happy exchange though!

I can't thank all you beautiful ladies enough for all your support and encouragement leading up to this, reading back on the last few posts made me a bit teary! This forum has helped me so much to prepare for the "unknown" of IVF, what to expect, questions to ask etc. Sending you all massive hugs

I'll be hanging around for a little while, not out of the woods yet. Will let you know the results of Monday's BT, still for a while.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, best of luck for upcoming BTs and transfers!

    Hi Ladies
Thanks once again so much for asking after me, means so much, more than words can say!!

Chekigal ~ Im so sorry hun, know how devestating it is GL for next time, you'll get there.

Leabie ~ HUGE CONGRATS - So happy for you! All the best for a H&H PREGNANCY!

True ~ Im glad they can remove the cyst and you can keep going with your cycle hunni. Best of luck xoxo

GL to all with jabbing, sniffing, waiting, ovulating etc etc. Sending out loads of babydust and stickyvibes. Hoping Mothers Day is not too hard for everyone and enjoy spending time with your families, mothers and grandmothers etc.

AFM ~ BFN of HPT couple of days ago then 6 hrs later there was a faint line. I reckon they might be from my last pg though or something because Im pretty sure AF knocking at the door. Ive had lots of mucous last couple of days, slight headaches, slight sore nipples and today have sharp jabs in lower tummy. I reckon its going to be a doozy AF but I just want it to come and be over already.
Will be enjoying my holiday in Tas and not thinking about TTC, which will be a lovely break.

Talk to you when I return xoox

Oh, forgot to say - Mother's Day, my sister-in-law announced she was 5 weeks pregnant, due Jan 8. Was happy for her but toally internally not happy given our cycle (which will be due Jan 28 if all works well). All i could think for the rest of the day was if this FET doesn't work, then her bub is going to be a constant reminder of our loss. I probably sound like an ungreatful whinger but noone knows we're doing this cycle, we don't want the pressure from family or friends, but now, i felt like, i don't know, i just felt Yuck!

Leabie - WHOOOO HOOOOO! Here's pullin for Mon's BT to agree with yesterday's BFP, oh you must be just sooooooooooooooo excited!

Lairdo - Yuck not lookin forward to pessaries either, but at least you know you are just so close now.
Lisa B - Welcome, such a long journey you've already had. Everyone on BB is just so wonderful. Here's hoping your first IVF trip is the only one you need!!

MurryCod & Juniper - for your EPU. This week's a huge week!! Juniper HB to you, hope there was a bit of fun amonst the finishing off of work!!

    Chekigal - How'd the 2nd BT go?

AFM - LH surge this morning, so Monday is an US with prob FET on Thursday - am guessing the beginning of pessaries in there too at some stage.

    Morning everyone,

I'm struggling with the BB format.

Murraycod - thanks for the welcome. I'm sure I will have questions in a few weeks when I'm off the pill. Good luck with your scan etc!

    Leabie - congratulations!!! Great news!

Trueblue- good luck with your procedure, hope all goes well. Weird isn't when you look forward to injections. I was like that with my OI injections cos I felt like something was happening.

Tantee, I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday.

JustOneMore, hopefully it all ends up being worth it. I'll be taking steroids for the first time this cycle and it scares me that I'll have the same problems. I'm already overweight, so I can't afford to gain more.

Afm, this morning's scan showed 2x24mm on the right and a few around 14-16mm on the left. I trigger tonight and EPU is Wednesday. My manager has just suggested I take all of this week off and just focus on the IVF. He was even talking about sending me home now. I had a heap of work I was supposed to get done on the weekend and he was suggesting he'd give all of it out to others so I could take the week off. But I'm going to get as much done as I can today and see what's left after that...

Oh, and would you believe the phlebotomist couldn't get any blood out of my vein this morning! She seemed very puzzled and kept saying "it's a good vein, but where's the blood?". She managed to get a little on the second attempt and had to ask the lab if it would be enough before they would let me go. Of course, with all the stuffing around I ended up getting a bit queasy (I've never been good with blood tests) and had two of them looking after me before we were done... Lol, they were so lovely while telling me I was misbehaving.

Juniper76 - I am overweight too. This is my second FET cycle on steroids. Half way through this cycle I decided that I am not going to weigh myself anymore. It just stresses me out to much.
What Steroid dosage has your doctor put you on ???
Good luck with your EPU on Wednesday.
