Cancelled cycle - how long till AF arrives?

    Hi all,

To everyone at all the different stages I am wishing all the very best and ing that the BFP's continue.

I am sorry for no personals but we get back to you all later as I have to go to work.

I have a quick question. My ICSI cycle was cancelled due to one follicle taking the lead way too early. Anyway since then it has been 3 weeks and still no AF. I have got a BFN on every poas so am not pregnant. How long does it take for AF to arrive??????

Jilly I would imagine if you have fairly regular cyces then your AF should arrive any day (Not much help I know) if you had a dominate follie 3wks ago then it could have still taken a week to ovulate and then assuming appro 2week LP phase you should be due now at the later end. Hope it arrives soon or even better your pregnant.

Murraycod hope you have lots of lovely blasties to freeze. On another thread it sounds like you should have quite a number. Hope its more then your expecting and you have lots of snowbubs left for future transfers after this juicy blastie on board is born in 9months. You will hear me screaming with joy from your place when you announce your BFP lol

Stupid computer is playing up. Try and be back later.

Jilly, it would depend on when (or possibly if) that lead follicle might have O'd. If you're concerned, it might be worth calling your doctor's office and asking them about it? They will know whether your situation is normal or not and what (if anything) to do.

    Hi to everyone else!

Sorry for the lurk mode. I'm still pretty down about the transfer news, so have been laying low. I've been so stressed out of late (high workload+IVF+break-in), it has just been harder to get past even small disappointments. At least the high workload is gone for now, but now I'm stressed out about having nothing to do and not meeting billings targets, so I can't really win.

Juniper, sweetheart big huggs to you XXX You are being so strong XXX

Jilly, I don't have an answer for you, im not sure what could be going on there, just wanted to give you a hug too XXX

Juniper - My thoughts are with you. I hope those little embies are really sticky. You so deserve it babe!!

Jilly - I hope AF arrives really soon. It must be really frustrating

Trueblue - fantastic news to hear you are back in the game, you must be really happy.

AFM: I start syneral tomorrow. Initially I was overwhelmed by the idea of IVF and the drug schedule, but now I just want the show on the road.

Sorry no personals today - Just trying to get by the TWW - BT on Monday, so not too long now to wait. Been feeling a bit naseous, but I hear crinone also has that as a side effect. Anyone else get itchy vagina after transfer? from the drugs? Or is it just me?
I have to get more meds later (stupid nirse didn't give me enought to last till Monday) so will ask them then.....

Wishing everyone great luck and pacience this week!

I've been keeping a low profile during the 2WW as I find it so hideous and stressful and this 2WW has been no exception. I have just got my BT results and got a BFN again, my 5th this year so far. I don't know what else to do, I feel like just giving this bloody lottery away, it's so unfair.
Goodluck to all you ladies and hope you get your BFP this cycle.
    xx

    Hi Guys,

Just trying to get used to the whole personals thing...

Murraycod - thanks for the kind words... good luck for your TWW!

Lairdoz - so sorry about your bad news. I guess it does feel a lot like a lottery but I'm sure you'll win soon.

Loops - sounds like you had a good trip. Good luck with going au naturale!

babytruj - fingers crossed for a great BT result on Monday.

AFM - blood test yesterday came back fine. The nurse seemed a bit worried about the bleeding but I've got my ultrasound tomorrow morning so we'll see how it all goes. I'm stressing a bit that my lining will be too thin and they will have to cancel the whole cycle, but I guess I just have to wait and see.

Good luck to everyone out there in their various stages of... everything!

Lairdoz, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear your news. I was waiting with a lot of interest to see how you went, and feel so bad that this embie did not "take". I will be thinking of you ((((hugs)))).

Thanks KitKat - I wish you all the best with your little one and hopefully I'll be in the BFP club again soon. My AF literally arrived 15 minutes after I got the call about the BFN which strangely then made me feel a bit better as it means I can start again soon. I don't want to think about how much this all costs.

Is it strange that I got my AF on the day it was due even though I was on 400mg of prog a day? I would normally get it today without any progesterone so not sure what the point of the progesterone is!!

    Hello Ladies
Sorry to barge into your thread one of the ladies in the ttc 12mths + told me this thread would be the best one to ask re AI. I have been on the ttc journey 1 1/2 years now and have tried clomid and metphormin. Now we're going to do our very first AI this month. I start injections tomorrow as I'm CD4. Just wondering if anyone has been through this also any info would be great. Thanks to all

Lairdoz, I'm so sorry to hear that. Was this a stim cycle for you? Sorry, I can't remember. If it was, I find that the FSH injections make my LP very short. The progesterone counteracts that. Plus, when an EPU is done the corpus luteum which normally produces the progesterone is damaged or doesn't happen (can't remember which), so you need the progesterone introduced artificially to give the embies a chance.

Thanks Juniper - it was a FET which is why I am so confused as to what's going on as I shouldn't have really needed progesterone but given I was on double dose and it didn't keep AF away I am now confused. I am seeing my FS next week but I am 100% sure I am going to be told it's a numbers game which frustrates me no end given how expensive this is.
