thanks
Thank you to everyone for your positive comments. Thank you too for helping me when I was feeling down last week. I can't believe I only found this forum now!
I did another HPT this morning and the second line appeared after 20 secs and is as strong as the first one. I'm going in to ask them to do my BT today instead of tomorrow as there is no way I can wait now!
I know it's early days and I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high but this is the closest DH and I have come!
Thank you all again for being there. This forum is a godsend and I wish I had found it earlier in our TTC journey!
-
glenny_c I'll wait until its official
bbbbuuuuuuuuttttttttttt
 :leap: :leap: :loveshower: :hooray: :hooray:
-
gday girls I got my new form for the bt on monday and this time they are checking E2 levels AND HCG levels why would they be checking hcg levels? does anyone know?
-
Oh my God!!!!
My BETA level is 144!
-
CONGRATULATIONS Glenny. I am so happy for you  :leap::happyforyou::happyforyou::happyforyou: such good numbers also
trueblue not sure why they would do HCG now. You have been on the pill right? Well up the last little bit to get you started? Mmmm not sure if thats a regular thing or not or your special ;).
-
Glenny - Congratulations, that is fantastic news! Wow this forum is going crazy with all these BFP's!
KitKat - Go the 3day transfer! I have only heard of 3 day and 5 day transfers in the US but not in OZ. Your chances should be exactly the same regardless (they are either viable or not)
kimbe - Welcome - I sadly am onto my 4th FET for the year, they are much easier than IVF of course (and cheaper) so hopefully yours will be easier and also give you a nice BFP too! I am medicated as I don't O on my own.
trueblue - Not sure what day you are in your cycle but when I am on a medicated FET (which is the same meds as for an IUI for me) I get E2 levels of about 3000 to 4000? I have only had to cancel when I wasn't on meds and didn't O on my own (levels of about 500) I will have FX that you don't have to cancel, but remember, they only cancel when it's not going to give you the best chance of getting pregnant in a healthy way.
Mildez - I am lucky as my clinic only closes on Christmas Day and I am also a bit mortified when I hear about these clinics which make you run to their schedule! I hope you are able to start soon and that it all goes well for you :)
Tantee, Marcellus, Mummawannabe, chekigal, all the BFP ladies and anyone I have missed - Hi!
AFM - No news, had first BT this morning to see how I am responding to Femara so will find out later today. Not really interested in this process and trying not to change this approach as I know how hard the 2WW is!
-
OH WOW Glenny - Congratulations :leap: All the best for a H&H pregnancy and hope many others can join you soon.
True ~ That's quite bizarre that they want HCG, are they suspecting you could possibly be pg. Everything crossed if thats the case hun. You've been on the pill so it you would have had to have conceived prior to that if so I guess.:o Weird. FX that your cycle wont be cancelled hun. Thinking of you xoxo
Hi all and hi to newbies.
GL and :pink-babydust::stickyvibesboy:
AFM ~ Did another HPT and another BFN! Although AF still hasnt arrived :wall: I just wanna know where Im at, extremely frustrating and its all making me a bit :(
-
Ah Loops, sorry you're still waiting
Congrats Glenny!
Interesting true... maybe they want to rule out the possibility...?
chekigal, I think it's still a bit early yet. :goodluck:
Kitkat, I've no idea why it might be that way. For 35-39 year olds it appears to be roughly the same odds for day3 vs day5.
Fingers crossed for everyone
-
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to come in & introduce myself, I'm Jess, I've been ttc for 15 months doing DI, but I'm about to start IVF (in early May). I've been in another thread but decided it was about time to join this one :)
Hope everyone's doing well & congrats to the people who have had recent bfp's!
-
hi ladies.i hope you are well.sorry but this is a quick me post. the last week roughly i have had queasiness coming and going and boobs have been tender.for an extra week to that i have been getting low needle like pains in pelvic area.did a hpt earlier and was bfn.dunno what to think.my cycle is still over the place.even when we did iui in december (iui done cd14ish) even with trigger to ovulate i still had an eight week cycle.see gyno that did lap on the 10th of may for results but dunno whether to try seeing someone before then.at times nipples even have tingling sensation like when bf'ing and milk is letting done.dont know what to think.im about cd 37ish now
-
Sorry, Loops to hear your news.
:leap: for you, Glenny. Told you it sounded promising!
Trubabe, you have some positive signs there. When is your BT due?
Hi to all the other ladies in here!
-
no bllod test due at the moment.doing natural cycles at the moment
-
Hi ladies,
How are we all going.
Loops really sorry to hear of your BFN. :(
Trubabe, you have all the pregnancy symptoms, when is your BT due ?
Hello to everyone else. :wiggle:
AFM: FET is booked for Monday.
-
Loops sorry for your BFN!
Well I caved and did a HPT! Couldn't help it. It's not looking good. One line EXTREMELY faint but there and one line really dark - if I was pregnant both would be really dark right? Is there still hope?? Official BT on Monday :-(
This waiting game is really awful!
-
K78, a faint 2nd line is still a BFP!! FX it gets darker over the next few days!! :crossfingers:
glenny, congrats! That's a great number!
Trubabe, it's weird having those sign and still BFN. FX it turns into a BFP soon. Otherwise, I hope your Doc has some answers when you see him.
Lairdoz, I didn't know we could get Femara here? I hope you're responding well to it.
Afm, I've had the AF from hell the last few days. I go in for a blood test on Saturday morning (suppression check) and then find out what we do next from there...
-
Hi gals,
The HPT I took stated it could pick up pregnancy 7-9 days after conception. I am now 10 days after we 'conceived' and it came up negative... some people are saying its too early - though there is a whole heaps of differing information out there.....
Its weird that I can have a Pregnyl injection and still has a negative.... anyone able to shed any light on this?
-
Thanks for the encouragement girls. I really hope it is but I have to also remember that it may not be.
I've been researching the brand of HPT I did (Pregnosis) and it has a REALLY bad unreliable reputation of giving false HPT. So I have to eliminate the test from my mind and get a different brand tomorrow and try again. Geez, once you start this HPT thing it's hard to stop - understand now why everyone says DONT DO IT - WAIT TIL BT. Woops - should've listened! xx
-
danyelle GL with FET
chekigal Hope your not going to insane in the TWW
maggie and melissal Sorry about the BFN girls sending lots of luck for you next cycles
Loops12 Hope AF arrives for you soon or you get a better answer to all your symptoms
Mildez, kimbe, kitty_kat_48 Welcome and GL
gleeny_cCongradulation wishing you H&H 9 months
juniper76, babytruj, lairdoz Hope all is going well with you ladies
LeabieGL in TWW
Terry GL with scan today
Kitkat 72 two fertilised is still good hope it all works out for you
Mummawannbe Enjoy your break rest and come back when your ready
AFM EPU was yesterday they got 30 eggs just waiting for the call to say howmany fertilised. Due to high risk of OHSS FS wants us to wait till next cycle and then do a FET so any embryos we get will be getting frozen now just play the waiting game.
Good luck to all you ladies with what ever stage you are at
-
HPT
Hey K78 - I used Pregnosis too - so as I say, I think a faint blue line is much better than a BFN....
The research on Pregnosis is all over the place - not picking up pregnancies, giving false positives and in some cases being accurate.
The BT will give us the answer I guess.... Isn't it a long two weeks!!!! ;)
To everyone else - hope you are going well and FX for lot's of BFP's.
-
Wishingbaby - 30 eggs is awesome - FX - now have a good rest
-
Morning ladies
Hi to the newcomers hope your stay in here is short & sweet
Wishingbaby 30 eggs what a great result I'm sure you'll have plenty to freeze and I think its a better option to wait rather than transfer this month. When I had my EPU I got 20 and did a fresh transfer but now I know I should have waited my body had been through so much
chekigal & K78 the TWW is horrible and we change our emotions all the time don't give up try and stay postive not long to go now till your BT
Danyelle good luck with your FET I so pray this is your month looks like we should hopefully be in the TWW close to the same time
Juniper good luch with whatever comes your way next I know your a strong lady and everything you are doing is getting you one step closer
Hi to all those I've missed
AFM had my scan this morning lining is looking good and I've got 1 follie growing well and a second one coming through too. So start doing my POAS Sunday and hopefully will ovulate by Wed if not then another scan on Wed. Looks like DH & I will be busy over the next few days fingers crossed this is our time
-
Hi everyone,
I have been away for about a month now, and so much has happened!!
I to everyone I haven't seen before!!
Brunette - that is GREAT!! and TWINS too!! I'm so happy for you!! We'll have to do lunch again to celebrate!!
Renee - that is AMAZING - after all your effort, to have a natural one is amazing!! Congratulations!!
Loops - keep positive hun,I'm still of the view that if I had any special powers in life (which, although I took it badly, happens that I don't!!) you would be the very next BFP!!
AFM - well, taking it easy and waiting for my body to get back to normal so we can do our FET. My AF was supposed to come on Wednesday, but still not here yet, so will still be another few weeks away before FET. But with all the BFP's in here that I have read, things are looking great!! I'll hang around a little more often now!!
-
chekigal, I'm not sure which one you've got, but I get the FRER. Even though they say they can detect a bfp 5 days before AF is due, if you read the whole thing it gives you percentages and it's not 99% reliable (according to them) until AF is due. Some women get late implanters, which means the hcg isn't present 7-9 days after conception and therefore can't be detected. Others have their hcg levels rise more slowly than expected.
K78, I've always been told to stay away from the blue dye tests. FX that the new one you buy gives you a BFP too!
wishingbaby, wow, 30 eggs! :o I hope you're feeling okay and don't develop OHSS. FX for the fertilisation report!
terry, thanks hun. I've really been struggling this week. GL catching that egg!
-
Well ladies just a quick post out of our 30 eggs we got 12 fertilised so now just wait and see how many make it to the freezer, thank you all for you comments, I am resting as much as possible and just making sure I drink lots of water.
-
lots more good looking signs we'll see more bfp's in here woohoo go girls
afm: I don't think them testing could be for pregnancy could it I couldn't possibly be after being on the pill spotting for two weeks then a short medium to light AF for 3 days as well as being on the nasal spray I am tired my boobs are so sore the only days they stopped hurting was the three days of my "af" am tired been sleeping whenever I can and am semi bloated. I am trying not to think of the what if in like the millionth tiniest hope that I could possibly be pregnant. I know i'll just be heartbroken on tuesday when the nurse calls with the results of negative. it's mine and dh's birthdays this sunday monday so were being kept busy with that and building our new bed.
Hugs to everyone
Loops: what has mac said about no af yet?
-
Glenny-C: congratulations! This was on your first cycle, right? Best wishes for a H&H pregnancy!
K78 - your faint line sounds promising. If you had no preg hormone inside you, you wouldn't be showing a line at all, right?
Chekigal - GL . . .
Wishingbaby - 12 eggs fertilized --wow! That's awesome! Good luck that they all grow into strong little embryos.
Danyelle - good luck with your FET this Monday!
Terry - good luck with your follies and that you catch that egg!
Mum-2-be - here's hoping that AF arrives soon so you can get on with your next cycle!
Looops - very sorry to hear of your BFN.
As for me, I had my ET today. I only had 2 embryos, so I was deciding whether to transfer 1 or both. I found out today that both were "textbook perfect": 8 cells at day 3 with no fragmentation. The embryologist and my doc both strongly advised that I only transfer one, since with 2 great-looking embies there was a heightened risk of twins. It's funny - the second embie was only at 2 cells yesterday, while the first was at 4 cells. But apparently the second embie starting growing more quickly and by today had caught up with the first one (which was still growing well). I was told all signs were that it should make it to blast no problem. So they've transferred the first embie and hopefully will freeze the second one on Sunday. Now I just have to hang out until my BT on the 13th!
-
Hi all you lovely ladies!
Happy Friday!
Glenny_c - CONGRATULATIONS!! That's such wonderful news. Fx for a happy & healthy 9 months.
Loops - sorry hun that your test was negative :shakehead: hopefully the witch will show up soon and you can start again.
Trubabe - your symptoms sound promising... have you done another HPT? Fingers crossed for you!
Juniper - hope AF is calming down for you, you poor thing. GL for your blood test tomorrow.
chekigal - I hear you about the TWW! I think we can all sympathise. From my research, Pregnyl has a half-life of about 24-30 hours, so the amount remaining in your system roughly halves every day. If your trigger shot was 5000, then the next day would be 2500, next day 1250 and so on. If you did a HPT 10 days later, there basically shouldn't be any left in your system, but it is more than likely too early for a pregnancy to show up. Hope this helps?! Don't give up hope.
Wishingbaby - congrats on 12 fertilised!! Hope you're feeling OK. On top of resting and drinking lots of water, make sure you have a sports drink or two each day, and try and have a high protein diet (I've included a big glass of Sustagen Sport with milk each day in my diet).
Terry - glad to hear you're progressing nicely! Exciting times ahead for you and DH, eh?! ;) Fx for you this month, babe.
K78 - goodluck :crossfingers: for the 2nd HPT - they are evil, but I'm an addict! At least this cycle, I won't have a chance to use one - my BT is only 3 days after my last Pregnyl injection!
Mum-2-be - hope AF hurries up and arrives so you can get cracking on your FET!
Trueblue - Happy birthday for the weekend! I hope Tuesday comes around quickly, and puts your mind at rest.
KitKat72 - Great news about your ET today! Fx that the other embie keeps performing well and makes it to blast!
HI :hello: to anyone I've missed!
AFM - after the transfer on Monday, OHSS finally caught up with me on Tuesday! Was starting to get a little concerned by my rapidly-expanding girth, and lack of breath. Luckily its settled down again now, I've lost 3.5kg in 3 days! If only I could do that whenever I wanted... Now I'm starting to get a teency-weency bit impatient, BT is next Wednesday, but its not too long to wait, I guess. Hopefully OHSS won't rear its ugly head again in the meantime!
Have a great weekend everyone!
-
Thanks for your encouragement again girls but I'm really feeling sad today. I did another test with the Pregnosis at 4am this morning - and again EXTREMELY faint second line like almost none!
So, this afternoon I bought a Crystal Clear test and did the test after work and it's a BFN. I've really lost all hope in getting a BFP. My husband keeps telling me there's still a chance but really, if I was pregnant, surely it would have shown up in the Crystal Clear test today??
BT not til Monday, god knows how I'll manage to distract myself this weekend.
Best wishes for all of you wherever you are at in your cycles. Sorry for no personals, just feeling sorry for myself..! SORRY!!
-
Thank you all for your best wishes. DH and I are still in shock, going for my second blood today to make sure it's rising quick enough. Just on edge a little now hoping it all goes right.
K78- Try not to lose hope. My HPT didn't show a BFP until the day before my scheduled BT. And that was using crystal clear. There is still hope! Also- I'm sure I read on this forum about a girl who did a HPT the morning of her BT and it was a BFP but when she got her bloods back it was positive with good numbers!! I know it's hard, probably the longest two weeks of my life! Hang in there!
KitKat72- Yeah, this was our first cycle. My fingers are crossed already for the 13th!!! It sounds like you have a couple of strong embies there! I hope they're sticky as well!!!!
Leabie- Fingers crossed for Wednesday as well!!! And hoping the OHSS stays well away!!
Sorry for only a couple of personals, I am praying for everyone on this forum that they have great results!
xx
-
Just a quick update from me. I went for my suppression check this morning and was surprised to be told to start the FSH straight away. The new FS has switched me to gonal-f, which I'd never used before, so I actually did my first injection right there in the office before I'd even had my blood taken. FX the b/w is okay... If all is good I continue jabbing and sniffing and go for my first monitoring on Friday.
-
K78, hold in there hun, there is still a chance X Take a few deep breaths, you are almost at the end X I understand how excruciating this TWW is, and I know I will be going just as crazy, but I know of so many girls that didn't get a pos HPT until day of, or after their BT.
Jiniper well done! Bloods will be fine I know it, so happy jabbing, I will join you tomorrow X
Leabie, Oh hun I hope you are feeling ok now, fingers crossed for Wednesday XX
GlennyC well done, congratulations!! Hope you have a healthy pregnancy X
Chekigal, I had 5000iu Pregnyl in March and was still in my system 9 days later, I tested on day 10 it was out of my system. Trust me, don't go the POAS!!!! Every time I have been on pregnyl, I get all excited over my fake BFP's, plays with the mind to much!X Hang in there X
Trueblue HappyBirthday to you and DH for the weekend XX Enjoy the new bed!
Wishingbaby congrats on a great number X Hope you are resting up now, and drinking plenty of water XX Take care XX
KitKat, I pray that you have a quick and relaxing TWW. And a successfull one ! X
Loops honey, hope you are doing ok XX You have been through a lot XX
Mum2be, best wishes for your upcomming FET
Sorry to miss anyone, will catch up to you all soon enough.
I am day 1 cycle today, so start jabbing 225iu puregon tomorrow night.
Last time I was on 150iu, so I am praying I don't get OHSS.
So another journey begins! Excited and so nervouse.
Take care all, have a great weekend.
Goodluck to all girls testing soon XXXXX!!!!!
-
Juniper - I'm sure bloods will be fine
Leabie FX for Wednesday
GlennyC - hope all is still going well
Trueblue - :happybirthday:
Wishingbaby - congrats on a great number!
KitKat - Welcome to the TWW - hope you are going well.
Loops - hope you are doing ok hon - big hugs!
Mum2be - all the best for your upcomming FET
Murraycod - back on it - FX and GL - hope OHSS stays away
K78 - I understand exactly what you are going through. There is still hope though hon. I think that you are like me in that it will be easier to deal with a BFN if we start letting go of the hope now.... sending you big hugs. I know how hard this journey is .... the questions and hopes, the torment and pain and I just wish I could find the magic solution... it feels we go through so much and put ALL of ourselves into this journey - so for it to fail - it doesn't seem fair!
AFM - I am letting go of this dream - even though the final result isn't here - and trying to gain back control of my life again....everything seems to go on hold during IVF including my biggest passion - scuba diving - which will be the first thing I get back into should this not turn out as hoped.
If I get a BFP I think I will keel over - I feel that my chances are so very slim.
The fact that AF has not arrived feels like nothing more than torment at the moment...
*sighs* :wall: :shakehead: :hide:  :dunno:
-
Chekigal- thanks, all is well. My numbers have doubled from Thursday so I'm just trying to relax until the ultrasound in two weeks time.
I will stop updating on here now as I don't want to be insensitive. I will still be reading though and praying that all of you get a BFP soon.
Thank you all so much for your support through my time here. You are wonderful people and it is so great to be able to talk to people who "get it".
xxx
-
Glenny C - after your post I read a little bit more about HPT and have enabled myself to hope just a little bit more that I have tested too early.
I completely stuffed up my timing and thought I was much further along than I am
What I don't get is that I am on 1500iu of pregnyl every three days after et and yet the HPT are giving a negative - anyone able to shed any light on this? I have had three lots since ET!!
All the research says to wait about 10 days after pregnyl shot for it to be cleared from your system and not give a false positive.... but I am getting negatives - even on the day of a pregnyl shot???!!!!
-
murraycod, FX you've got the right dose this time. My dose has been increased to 450iu for this cycle (plus the change from puregon to gonal-f). My old FS wasn't willing to go above 325iu...
chekigal, I've read that the hcg shots can take 24 hrs to reach the urine. But that would only explain getting a BFN for the first one. I'm not sure what else to suggest? :dunno: Unless you're testing with a hpt that isn't very sensitive or you got a faulty batch?
Trueblue, happy birthday for tomorrow (or was yours Monday?). :happybirthday: It's a great time of year for a birthday (mine is next Saturday). ;)
Afm, I never heard from the clinic, so I guess all is fine. So the week ahead will be all sniff jab sniff, sniff jab sniff, sniff jab sniff,...
-
Chekigal - No idea, other thought is that it is too high a level to be recorded as the tests only display HCG between a range (so if too high won't display a positive result) - just a thought?
Juniper - sounds like everything is fine which is great news!
Murraycod - I have FX that this is your cycle :) Goodluck with all the jabbing, I am sure you will be fine and look forward to seeing how your cycle progresses.
Trueblue - Happy Birthday!
Wishingbaby - Hope those embies are doing what they are supposed to do! Hope you are doing well too and aren't too stressed.
mum-2-be - Hope you enjoyed your month off - I know I certainly did. Hope your AF arrives soon so you can start your FET!
K78 - Thinking of you - I know, as many of us do, how awful it is to go through the ups and downs. I stopped using HPT's for the same reason as it was too stressful to keep seeing BFN’s before my BT - but please remember that until you have your BT, you REALLY don't know.
glenny_c – Goodbye for now but hopefully will see you in the pregnancy after LTTC forums soon!
Leabie – Hope you are doing OK now – BT not to far away now!
KitKat72 – Your BT is a long time after your 3 day transfer, mine is normally 2 weeks after ovulation, but yours is two weeks after transfer?
Terry – Hope your follies are growing and you aren’t getting too stressed out.
Mildez, kimbe, kitty_kat_48, babytruj, maggie , danyelle and melissal – Hi and hope you are having a nice weekend and not having to think too much about this awful LTTC caper we are all going through!
HI to anyone I have missed – there are a few of us in here at the moment - but glad to see we have cleared out a few into the pregnancy forums ;) (in the nicest possible way, I want us all to move in there!)
AFM – Have another BT tomorrow morning to see if Femara has helped me to ovulate as I normally use Clomid but this month am trying a new drug. Wasn’t responding very well as of Thursday so hope to see I am doing something or will have to cancel the cycle :(
-
hi guys, thought i'd put up a quick note to you all.
soory i have been so slack in getting on BB
i have been reading some of the threads, congrats to those BFP's
i'll try to get on here and do some personals, been so busy with work and still getting this new home loan thing done too, is a bit stressfull.
we have delayed next IVF/ ICSI full stim cycle til next month now as i am just too stressed to do it ATM.
i want to give these embies the best chance possible. so lets wait till our home loan is approved and all our council approvals done then we'll do it.
hopefully i will have a day off this week where i can do something for myself, but not holding breath for that one.
i did have acu last week and DH and i went to the movies together, which is a rare thing indeed, it was nice to do something together.
chat soon.
-
thanks everyone for your wonderful birthday messages had an awesome night tonight surrounded by friends and family lots of laughs some burnt meat lol and now off to sleep in our new amazing bed with the most amazingly comfortable new mattress hoping the better sleep helsp with the ai. AM still anxious about mondays pending bt hopefully levels have gone down am finding it hard to get hopeful that the reason they want to do a hcg test is possible pregnancy I don't want tot think about it.
DH got me the new julie goodwin cookbook have been hanging for it to be released and I got a straightener and some money and some other stuff
K78: Hang in there chcik your going through the worst part the tww. Remain hopeful and strong and hopefully monday comes qick for us and answers some questions.
Lairdoz: FX the new drugs do their thing and bring you a bfp
Juniper: thanks chick mine is tommorrow (sat) dh's is monday and it's funny our bosses/friends birthdays are the week after and tghey are a week apart so strange for four taureans to get along so very well we are family now
Checkigal: very confusing indeed hopefully the doctors have some idea to shed some light on the sutuation
Murray cod: goodluck with the jabbing drink lots of water and try not to think of that possiblilty
omg just realised it's 12:09am I am now 26 years old......
-
Lairdoz - Interesting thought - I have heard this with molecular pregnancies - FX this is not what is going on!!
JBM - Hope you enjoyed the movie and home loan comes through OK
TrueBlue - happy 26th hon!!!! xxxx
-
Happy Birthday Trueblue:dance:
Lairdoz, interesting point about the BT. They originally told me to test on the 13th when they thought I was going to be doing a day 5 transfer. I wonder if the date should change now that they did a day 3? Of course, the embie would still be the same "age" (if it survives until then), even though it spent more of its "life" inside of me than in the petri dish. I just don't know. But thanks for raising this -- I'm going to call the clinic and ask next week.
I hope everyone else is doing well. (Don't have time for detailed persies this morning.)
AFM, no probs yet with my TWW. I'm pretty relaxed so far. Just sad that I can't go for a surf on such a nice beach day. DH is out there right now tearing it up -- jealous! Anyway, I suspect I'll start to get more antsy as the days progress . . .
Have a great day.
KitKat72
