Sorry for those I have missed. I hope your cycles are all going well and that you are keeping the stress levels down (whatever way you can).

AFM – Did another HPT this morning (first wee) with a Crystal Clear and it came up BFP (very faint again but there). I'm hoping this is a good sign. Can I get excited yet or still wait til tomorrow?? I am SO inpatient now. Only one more sleep and we'll know FOR SURE YES OR NO! DH and I have decided to go to Broome for a holiday in May regardless of result, will be booking tomorrow. Need to celebrate/recover somewhere lovely and relaxing.

Lairdoz - how did your BT go this morning? Any action yet? My body did not respond to Clomid at all (and we did double time on it) hence moving onto IVF straight after.

K78 - that sounds like a bfp to me.... Congrats! X

JBM, good on you for not rushing into things :hug: Takes a strong woman to put your IVF plans on hold for a month, even for the right reasons. But I totally agree with you, DH and I put our IVF cycle off last month for some testing, and because we were in the middle of harvest. Now harvest is over, we can enjoy the process, be completely there for eachother, for the up's and downs, and not put any more stress on eachother than we need too.

Lairdos, I have my fingers crossed that your blood work comes back fine, and you won't need to cancell anything honey XXXXX

Repromed in Adelaide for me, only tell you how many fertilise, then find out on the day of ET how many have kept growing. I guess mabey they think it's one less stress to worry about, but deep down you constantly wonder X

AFM, welllmy AF is being a total cow to me, I was up untill 130am last night with the worst cramping and heavy loss. It's just darn awfull.
I had a Uretus Biopsy done last week, don't know if this can cause such a heavy loss when AF comes, but geez she's a nasty one! Start my Jabbing tonight and am getting a little excited!

Hey guys - Just wondering - I woke up today with the worst zits I have had in ages (worse than the occasional jawline zit I'd get the week before AF) and now I've been feeling nauseous since this afternoon. I've had pretty much NO side effects from any of my IVF drugs during my entire cycle, except for getting pretty bloated right after my Ovidrel trigger shot last Sunday night. I had a day 3 ET the day before yesterday. I presume it's too early for the little speck to have implanted, and even if not, it's still too early to have PG signs, right? Could these symptoms be from the Crinone I'm taking 2x/day?

Somebody, please talk some sense into me!

Oh yeah, anybody know how long it takes the 250iu Ovidrel shot to leave your system?

Edited to Add: BTW, I'm happy to announce that my other embie made it to Day 5 blast today, so they've gone ahead and frozen it. One frostie - yay!

Kitkat, check the info in the pack, but I think the crinone can have that side effect. As for the Ovidrel, I don't think it's 250iu, I think it's 250mg or ug? My understanding is that is similar to an 8,000iu hcg shot, so it should be the usual 10-12-ish days for it to be metabolised. The amount in your system should halve every 24-ish hours. Sorry, lots of "ish"es there. ;) Congrats on the snowbaby!!

murraycod, I'm so sorry she's being a cow to you too. I was literally up all night between CD1 and CD2, so I know how awful it can be. I hope she's eased up now. GL with your jabbing!!

K78, my SIL was just trying to talk me into going to Broome this afternoon. I want DH & I to go on a holiday since it's been a while, but not sure what we can afford after this cycle... FX for a great number tomorrow so the excitement can begin in earnest!!

Juniper76 - Broome is supposed to be amazing but quite expensive. I know what you mean re money after IVF! We are lucky that we have family that live in Broome who we can stay with although we'll still stay somewhere on our own for 2 nights just for some privacy.
KitKat - I was so sick after ET. Really sore and nauseas (I even had diahreah - no idea how to spell it!!). It was so bad I rang FS to tell them and they said the cramping COULD be the embryo implanting but they couldn't promise that. THey also said it could just be a combination of the drugs, swollen ovaries and acupuncture. Your body is put through alot in the lead up to ET so it's understandable that some of us just don't feel well. I've just woken up with a breakout under my chin which is a weird spot! Anyhow, three days after ET, I really started to feel better and back to normal (apart from feeling a bit tired) so hang in there.

KitKat - All the hormones can and will have crazy side effects. It could be from a week or so ago that your skin breaks our - certainly given what we put our bodies through it's not surprising!
Murraycod - Ouch! I hope AF is nicer to you today, and that all this is clearing out to make sure there is a nice lining for your soon to be BFP!
K78 - Thinking of you and hope your results are great today :)
Juniper - I've never been but have lots of friends who have gone to Broome and loved it.

AFM - My Oestrogen levels of day 11 were 350 - does anyone know if this is OK? I normally get in the 3000- 4000 with Clomid and get 2-3 follicles so I have no idea what levels are needed for a normal ovulation. I need to ovulate as part of the FET and normally take Clomid but have to stop as I have taken it already 3 times this year for my other FET's. Any help would be great. Last time I had to cancel I think I only got to 400 on my own so am a little bit worried.

I'm just keeping my eye in this site as I wait for my first FET next week. I've noticed that some of you are on Clomid prior to FET so that you ovulate. My FS has put me on an artificial cycle with oestrogen tablets. I have PC ovaries so understand why it's being done artificially but I wonder if we couldn't have used clomid too (as I've responded well to it in the past before IVF was begun). Wouldn't it be better to ovulate than not?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

K78 - I'm so sorry, I hope you are OK and am thinking of you. As Chekigal said, you have some embies for the future, but I know this may not make you feel better today as it's so dissapointing when you get a BFN.

K78- I am so sorry to hear that. I had a BFN two weeks ago and know how it can dash your hopes. Hold in there. We're on another cycle now and hoping that this time we'll have more success. I hope that you too will try again and have what you hope for.

Lairdoz, sorry to hear your E2 levels are still low. FX you get some action soon so you don't get cancelled.

Maggie, the HRT FET protocol you are doing is very common. I don't know if there's any benefit to O'ing. I would expect there isn't, otherwise why would they do so many HRT cycles? The hormones you take prepare your uterus for the embryo, so what benefit would O'ing have (other than trying to catch that egg in addition to doing the FET)?

Maggie - I have only done one FET on which I took Estrofem which they upped 1/2 way through. I don't ovulate very often and the issue of ovulation was never brought up so I'm not sure either of the significance of ovulating on a FET cycle.

Lairdoz - :crossfingers: that your levels rise

Hi to all you other lovely ladies. Hope you are surviving this crazy roller coaster. It is so hard to keep up in here with all the action happening!

AFM: On to my last Zoly implant this week. This will last 28 days and then we can start my next IVF. The time is draaaaaaaagging. Most side effects have evened out (hot flashes, moodiness, tiredness etc) so I hope that this weeks shot doesn't fire them up again.
We will be looking at an antagonist cycle this time as I am already down regulated from the Zoladex. My last IVF was longer so it will be interesting to see what changes occured this time round. Has anyone else done both?

I don't look here for a week, and so much is going on:

Kitkat - The hormones will make yout skin quite oily, so we are more prone to break outs when on the drugs!

Lairdoz - I'm not sure on the Oestregen levels. I think mine was quite hight when I was doing the first IVF round, but my lining was still thin.

Maggie - Good Luck fro FET - I'm also hoping for next week;) I think the point of Chlomid is to help the eggs grow, which we don't want if doing FET. Chlomid helps more grow, and you don't want to waste the eggs for a cycle you won't even use them in.

K78 - Sorry for BFN. Hang in there!

Hi to everyone else I missed

AFM I went for a second scan on Frida, and my lining is still too thin. It's about 6.3. FS wants it to be at least 7. Had BT done on Friday as well, and am waiting for the results from that. I think that is the Estradiol (that's what it's called here) It seems like instead of doing BT's they do scans to measre the lining, and when it starts getting thickier they do a BT. So I am on Day 22, 10ml Lucrin jabs, 4 x progynova tabs a day, and feeling very bloated, and skin started to look bad. Just when it was clearing up. So I don't know if it is my new cleanser or the drugs that were making it nice:) Next scan on Wednesday. So here's hoping we get the go ahead for the transfer.

Had my bt today and am anxiously waiting for tommorrow to come to find out the results it will hopefully be some good reults either a bfp or start injecting.

tantee, I did an antagonist cycle last time and would have liked to do it again this time. I responded much more quickly to the FSH injections. I had 16mm follicles after 8 days, which is quick for me. It's certainly a much quicker cycle than the long protocol. :)

K78, so sorry to hear of your BFN, its just not fair :hug:. My sister got her results today as well and its a BFN too, she is devastated as this was her last try, she's been doing IVF for about 6 years now. :crying:

Lairdoz, When I do a FET, I am on Puregon @ 75 cIicks until my Oestrogen levels are between 600 - 700 for ovulation. Here's some of my examples
Jan - Day 11 E2: 397 LH: 5.4 / Day 16 E2: 677 LH: 3.6 Trigger Day 19
March - Day 11 E2: 593 LH: 3.0 Trigger that day
April - Day 9 E2: 184 LH: 2.2 / Day 13 E2: 669 LH: 2.7 Trigger Day 14

AFM: had my FET today, 2 embryos @ 6 cell and I also did my first round of accupuncture with my FET. I thought it was going to hurt but it didn't, highly recommend it for relaxation.

AFM ~ Still no AF and I did a test on Sat and there was no 2nd line at the time but then I got it out of the bin when I got home the next night and there was a 2nd line. Would that be because the test had been left only, could it be that I still have tini bit of HCG in blood from m/c or is it possible I could be pg. Very umlikely the latter but you can only hope. Might do another test in couple of days.

gday guys well results are in and apparently my body doesn't like being told what to do and is just as stubborn and pigheaded as I am. My e2 levels have doubled and are now at almost 2500 so the nurse thinks I am ovulating through the drugs or I may have a small cyst am off for an u/s on thursday morning in sale have to leave here at the butt crack of dawn as it takes 1 1/2 hours to get there to rule out a cyst. Has anyone else experienced this she told me to stay on the nasal spray but doesn't anyone know what may be a possible outcome of what happens next if it's not a cyst? WIll they see how close to oing I am and just trigger me or will they cancel it? Help.... I hung up the phone and just burst into tears dh is trying to be strong.
I am feeling very lost and in limbo here still not knowing any answers apart from knowing I am not utd.
We dtd last night so maybe if we just do that as I worked out my natural o day would be today I think.

trueblue sounds a bit trixie for me. Not sure having not been in that position myself but I hope its all good, no cyst and you don't miss out on this cycle or else your body has plans of its own to ovulate through the drugs and you get a BFP anyway.

Loops12 that sounds like something I would do. Get the old test out of the bin. I guess if its more then a day old when you say the line it could very well be an evap line but I hope not. Did you have any tests after your m/c to see the HCG was going away? I hope its a BFP. I'd be so happy for you if it was. Gee I couldn't help myself but test again before now. Was the line very faint or clearly visable?

Well I am feeling abit out of place at the moment in all threads. Here obviously although ltttc I am not up to the assisted stage yet for another 6weeks (have to make the Dr and DH happy even if I am not) and in the m/c and loss thread I feel like an original with everyone leaving and seeing newbies come and go etc.

Oh and a friend was just complaining how she has been ttc for so long and she is sick of it. She has been ttc 5months :o and he DS is 12months old. Grr sorry vent done can be happy happy joy joy now! I've had my bit-ch for the day now!

Loops - I hope either AF of BFP come along soon as I know being in limbo is fairly hideous and you have had enough of all of that stuff this year.
Trueblue - Anything that's going to keep you awake at night thinking about, I would be calling the nurses to get them to tell you what they think. Don't you hate it when you feel like they assume you know so much more than you do and you walk out wondering what's next? My understanding of having a cyst is that they will stop meds and probably take a month off to see if the cyst goes down (or away). I am sure I had one a long time ago and I just took a month off and the cyst went away.
Mildez -As Loops said, this is the place to vent. Life is all relative so of course to your friends five months is a long time, but I know for most of us we would gladly swap five months of naturally TTC'ing to what we have to go through. I think you should stay here, even if it's just to pop in when you need to - those six weeks will go by very quickly :)
Kimbe - goodluck for tomorrow, you must be very close to my cycle as I am on day 13.

AFM – My E2 levels have gone from 350 two days ago, to 1360 today... So Femara does work! I am not having a scan which I normally do for a FET (I guess they are used to seeing that I have a decent lining so not really worth looking at after four cycles) so just have to ring next Monday to find out what time to be there for my transfer next Tuesday the 11th. Feels a bit wierd as all I have had to go is three blood tests and take 5 tablets!

Loops - thanks for your message. I'm feeling better today, still sad but what can you do - this time was not meant to be. FX my FET in June will bring me a BFP.

To confirm re my results, my BFN was confirmed via a BT by my FS yesterday.
I did a HPT the day before, on Sunday, with the Crystal Clear brand that showed as a BFP. SO girls, try to stay away from HPT - they really aren't accurate and make it harder to deal with a BFN BT when you've received a BFP from your HPT.
The HPT I used detected the FSH in my bloodstream hence showing a BFP but, the BT detected it too and it wasn't high enough to sustain a pregnancy. I confirmed this with FS.
STAY AWAY FROM THE HPT's....

Mildez liek others have said 6 weeks isn't long to wait I took a 5 month break and didn't think I would cope but its great just to have a normal life for a while cuase before you know it you'll be on the rollercoaster again

kimbe hope your BT went ok and that you don't need to do your daily tests for too long

AFM had another scan this morning looks like I should Ovualte on Friday which would give me a Monday transfer. I'm just glad that my body has gone back to normal by that I mean that I usually ovualate day 17. So two more days of surge testing for me and if that doesn't work then I need to do a BT on Friday

Trueblue - I'm obviously behind the 8 ball, but I'm confused by your using Synarel for IUI? In my IUI cycles, I just did a bit of FSH leading up to ovulation, then Pregnyl trigger and Pregnyl follow ups. I guess different FS's do different things, don't they?! Fingers crossed for your scan tomorrow, and everything resolves itself quickly sweetie! Its great that DH is being strong.

Lairdoz - yay for your E2 levels! Its amazing how quickly things can change. Good luck for your ET next week.

AFM - spoke too soon about the OHSS, it came back and bit me last week! Dang it. Had my final pregnyl shot on Sunday, so hopefully it won't get any worse. I look like I'm 6 months pregnant, and sit down/get up like I am too... DH and I have affectionately named it Fat Guts :lol: And stupid me, got my dates wrong - though my BT was today, but its on Friday grrrr... Am starting to get AF-type cramps, so am losing hope. To make it worse, I have to go to a baby shower on Saturday, oh joy!

Whinge over! Have a good day everybody, good luck for those waiting.

Not much personals 2nite.... sorry. Have been quietly counting down the hours til my final BT - 10hrs, 50 mins now :)

All HPT's showing positive - but I won't enable myself to get too excited until final results.

All classic symptoms of pregnancy now showing, including an abundance of veins, sensitive and enlarged boobs, tiredness, feeling bloated and off colour...

If I was a horse, I would put money on it :)

But, am also aware that these symptoms can be caused by the drugs I am on....

So, let's so what tomorrow brings.

Hi to everyone else, sorry for lack of persies.

AFM: Went today to get what I thought would be my last monthly shot only to find out that FS is unable to start IVF in June as originally planned as he will be away. So I need to get another shot next month (yay, another month of crappy meds) then wait another month to start IVF (which will be almost a year to the day of my last round) This waiting is driving me CRAZY. I am pretty bummed as I had psyched myself up these few months working towards June and now have to wait until July :wall: :wall:
Sorry for the rant, but you know when you have one of those days when you are just fed up with the whole thing? That's me today :rolleyes:
