    Thanks for your reply Sarah.
Why doesn't your OH want PGD testing?

Had my US today- FS thinks I have about 20 follies so far- excellent numbers.
Being that this is DEFINITELY our last cycle, I really hope for good numbers.
Another US and BT on Wednesday.

20 is an awesome number Emma :-).
    Excellent!

Yeah my DF is half in denial we need such help and other half him thinks we have spent a lot already and feels like ltttc is a bottomless money pit! Yeah I hear him but I am still wanting the baby at the end and don't care at all about the money!
I am a poor responder so I'll need 2 ivf egg pick ups to do one lot of pgd :-/.

Good luck getting a golden eggie :-)

On another note I see next to my name it says rak recipient" ... does anybody know what that means?

You and me both, hun. Hope your AF is being kinder than mine.

Emma, I had some mild OHSS symptoms after EPU in a few cycles, but never full-blown OHSS. I basically felt very bloated but it was a little different to normal bloat. If you suspect it may be a problem for you, start drinking plenty of fluids now. I'd do a mix of water and gatorade (or similar), but mostly water, aiming for 3 litres per day (total for the two, not each) unless your Dr tells you otherwise. I'd also avoid things that can contribute to dehydration - eg coffee, soft drink, salty foods, etc - and try to eat a bit more protein.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

US today showed about 25 good sized follicles, just took my trigger- pregnyl is a PITA!
FS told me today that on top of crinone and clexane- I'm also have 2 injections of progesterone.
    Has anyone had these before?
    Did it hurt?

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

Emma, I haven't done the PIO (they're very rare in Australia, possibly because of the cost), but I've heard they're not pleasant. To the best of my knowledge, they're always intramuscular shots (usually in the buttock). Great news about the follicles! Keeping FX for EPU!!

Sarah, I think there's a thread in or near the Announcements section for thanking RAKers.
*edit* Here it is: 2014 Thank Your RAK'er Thread!

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception April/May 2014

If it was 2 total, I'd guess it might not be right, because it's usually a daily injection. If it was 2 per day, that is also unusual (it's normally only 1 per day). Could they have meant pregnyl booster shots?
