Myturn, hugs honey  I hope that one day you can be sharing your happy news with a pg of your own, and maybe even a little girl too!
GL ladies with your cycles and your 2WW :crossfingers:
Hi everyone, just copied this from my intro post but thought I'd introduce myself here.
Little bit of history. Came off the pill June 09, fell pregnant August 09 but resulted in missed mc with d&c at 10.5 weeks. We continued ttc, fell pregnant again July 10 which resulted in ectopic at 7 weeks and right tube removal.
Since then we had 3 rounds of clomid even though I was ovulating, and ovulated on all rounds but no pregnancy. We both had all tests done and everything was normal, we saw fertility sa in feb 12, and were told ivf was the only real option, so we put it off for a year so we could go overseas, but we used no protection in this time but still nothing.
We are now about to make our first appointment with repromed and hopefully we get results quickly.
I found out recently that one of our close friends is pregnant after trying for 2 years just before they were about to do iui. I am happy for them but my heart feels like it has been torn apart, it's just so unfair
ATM I am on cd7. I don't want to chart again, I got way too obsessed last time. I guess this month well just try naturally, again, until we can get an appointment with repromed
Sorry its turning into such a long journey babycakes... You're in the right place here, there's lts of support. FX Repromed can help you get UTD quickly xox
Hi everyone hope you're all going ok.
Hang in there baby cakes hope you get the help you need soon to get your bfp.
Jasmine I hated Prednisone and had to stop taking it. I took it at 6am and still couldn't sleep at night and I felt like I drank 20 cups coffee all day really speedy horrible feeling and mood swings :( so fs took me off it. I take Progynova and Ralovera after ivf and I don't mind them so much. I get AF cramps, tiredbess from pessaries and pmt symptoms. The joys of it all! Good luck for your ET Jasmine will be praying for you! x
Welcome Babycakes - the support here is wonderful. Hopefully you can get your Bfp soon.
Miss B - how are you going? When's your scan Hun?
Myturn - I feel exactly the same way. I am happy for my pregnant friends/ family but its just not fair.
Juniper - how's your 2ww going?
Jasmine - gl for transfer tomorrow
Afm - think this may be our last shot. I can't deal with this emotional & physical roller coaster anymore. I am not coping very well & dh can't cope at all - he just runs away. I was so sick my ivf cycle - I just don't think I can go it again. Can't believe I have used 6 A+ embryos & nothing. Sorry girls feeling down. To make me feel even worse saw friend who has a week left of work then maternity leave for baby no 2. Due the same day I would have been due. She starting trying for no 1 after we starting trying. I just want Bfps for all of us. I want us to all be happy!

Hugs Beau. I was so sick during this 2nd ivf and had moderate ohss and was feeling exactly like you saying never again. But hopefully you won't have to think that and this one will be your lucky strike! And IF you need to go once more I'm sure you'll find the strength hun. I'm already thinking I'll go again if our fet doesn't work! But if you asked me 2 wks ago I would have said no way! Hopefully you're just having a few down days and it will pass x
myturn, hugs to you, sweetie. My sister and SIL are due in March and January, respectively, so I'll be following close behind you...
babycakes, sorry to hear you've had such a long journey already. FX it's almost over and you'll have your BFP soon.
Beau, hugs to you as well, hun. I was in that same place for our last IVF and I know how bleak it can all seem. FX this cycle will bring you the happiness you so deserve.
Afm, just ignoring the 2ww and assuming AF will show up next week (just in time for the Ekka, so I guess DD will have to keep waiting for her first Ekka visit)...
Welcome Babycakes :) I hope that you don't have to hang around here for too long, we are a great bunch of ladies but we all want to graduate to a belly buddy group soon! GL hun :crossfingers:
Juniper, hang in there, I hope that you'll get a huge surprise and AF doesn't show up :)
Beau, huge hugs sweetie  I think at some point all of us wonder how long we can keep on fighting, and how long our bodies and minds will let us! I am so grateful for my DS, and I know it's so much harder for women who don't yet have a child of their own here on earth, but it's still a struggle for me in terms of how long I can keep on going considering my age and my sanity. Right now I keep going for my DS. I think he would make an awesome big brother and I hope to give him a sibling one day (sooner than later I hope). The drugs right now are making me loopy, and I constantly question myself if I am making the right decisions right now. I can hardly keep up and cope with one child, how will I cope with two if I am blessed again? Dunno hun, I think I will know for sure when I've had enough. I can certainly see changes in my body and energy levels, so I don't think I have much more left in me.
Mybe you'll find strength to go again, and maybe not, but either way you have to do what's best for you and your relationship too. Big hugs darling xxx
Jasmine, GL with your transfer tomorrow hun, you must be super excited now!
AFM, I think my body is slowly getting used to the nausea, but I am just feeling so bloody tired on the progynova. I can hardly keep my eyes open after 9-10 pm. I used to go to bed at midnight every night. Plus I haven't been able to clean my house properly on the days DS goes into cc (always seem to be distracted with something lately) and my OCD is just doing my head in. My house is probably very clean, but in my head it's a pigsty in here. I HATE YOU OCD!!!!!!!! Ok rant over, my scan is on Tuesday. I hope the lining is behaving itself :crossfingers:
Beau--Big hug. Like Bunnyfeet said hopefully you're just having a few down days and it will pass x and then you will have strength again. You will do better this time.
Jasmine - Good luck for your transfer, get BFP this time.
Miss.B--I did not feel well for Progynova at the beginning too, but after for a few days my body seems coping it better. Hope you have a good lining for transfer.
I might do my Hyst & Lap,with Monash IVF when I came back because it costs about $2500 after medicare(thank you Juniper, I think this price is reasonable, depends which hospital doing the procedure, some hospital charge too much for the bed fees). So I have to book it when my period come in Aug. This doctor prefer to do it around CD21.
I am going to have 3 weeks holiday from the coming Wednesday, I won't be here for a while. Hope everyone here doing the cycle have BFP soon.
Hope you feel better soon Miss B and that you are good to go at your nxt appt.
Juniper I hope there's a surprise in store for you soon hun hang in there.
Have a great holiday bestrong enjoy the break.
Best of luck tomorrow Jasmine sending you sticky vibes :)
Good luck for today Jasmine, I hope everything goes well for you!!

Thanks girls for thinking of me today! Just had accupuncture and now on the way to the clinic for transfer. Haven't heard from the lab so I'm hoping our snowflakes have thawed ok.
BBL for personal xx
Yay jasmine!!
Afm - nurses couldn't find anything happening this morning (and yes, both nurse had a look...) I found done EWCM this morning though... And told them that....
... However bloods have said I have surged after all and transfer will be Thursday.
Funny that my explorations of mucus was saying positive, but ultrasound couldn't see anything AND seratec came up negative ish too :)
;) kinda excited for the first time.
Great news myturn GL :)
Hi Ladies,
I have just registered and would like to find out how one goes about joining a thread? is there a protocol to follow?
I am in the TTW, currently 11 dpo, had first IUI on 25 July 2013
Thanks
:welcome: positively ttc - you join a thread by doing what you just did - make a post :)
Hopefully your stay here is short x
Thanks for that MYturn
Hi Ladies, bady dust to us all!!
I hope to not be on here too long :)
We have been TTC for 2 years now, started seeing a FS in June 2013 hence the first IUI last month
No symptoms other than bloated, full heavy feeling and sore BB's........these could all be the meds ive been on though so going to have to wait and see how my blood test goes on saturday
Im meditating each day using circle + bloom IVF/IUI mind and body programe.....has anyone tried using this? great for relaxation im really enjoying it
MyTurn- Yay for tx on Thursday.. We will be PUPO together! X
MissB- GL for your scan tonorrow x
PositivelyTTC- Welcome! Hope your iui brings success and your stay in here is short and sweet x
Beestrong- Enjoy your holidays honey x
Nataloosh- How are you going with the TWW? X
Beau- When is your next scan hun? X
Waves to everyone else xx
AFM- Just got home. Feeling quite good. No cramping this time.. FS did another scan before tx and said my lining was looking good. And this time it was a 'clean' tx. No blood on the catheter like last time. Praying and praying that I have a sticky one in there getting nice and snug
Good luck for tomorrow Miss B x
My hubby is finally home from fifo tomorrow and we're off to Noosa for 5 days can't wait :) so probably won't be on here much so good luck to everyone at whatever stage you're at! I'm hoping to see some bfp results next week!
I haven't heard about the bloom meditation.... I use Zita West and Fertile Grounds meditations and really enjoy them. Something I need to get started on I think :)
enjoy bunnyfeet :)
Welcome positively ttc :) I use the circle & bloom it's fabulous! Hope your stay here is short! Ok I'm signing out now for real - Noosa here I come! Bye for now ;)
Welcome positively ttc - the support here is wonderful. Hope you aren't here for long.
Myturn - yay for transfer Thursday. Funny how scan didn't show anything - at least you know your body & bloods matched.
Jasmine - sounds like everything went well for you today. Did you end up transferring one or two?
Sorry double post
Jasmine, congrats on being PUPO!! Way to go hun :) GL in your 2WW :crossfingers:
Myturn, GL with your transfer on Thursday :crossfingers:
Bunnyfeet, have a great holiday in Noosa :)
PositivelyTTC, welcome to our little group and GL in your cycle :)
Bestrong, have a great holiday too hun!
Hi to everyone else!
AFM, scan tomorrow, will come back and update you then.
Double post
MissB- Praying that your scan today goes well.
MyTurn- 2 more sleeps till your PUPO!!!
Beau- Yep we took the FS's advice and tx both our little snowflakes.
AFM- Off to accupuncture again today. Feeling supprisingly good today, no cramping like last time! The FS increased my progesterone again yesterday so I'm now of 2x Provera, 2x Crinone and a Progesterone pessarie every day. I thought I might be feeling really yuck from it all but so far so good.
Morning Ladies
Thanks for all the welcome wishes, really appreciate it
GL to everyone today where ever you are in you cycle
For those of you who have had IUI why do they make you wait till 16 DPO to test? I'm very tempted to do a home test on day 15......do you think I am just wasting my time? your thoughts would be apprecaited x
Not happy Jan! Scan showed a lining thickness of 4 mm. That's OK, it needs to be at least 6 mm, I'm only CD10. BUT, I have a follicle in there!!! WTF? She said that that shouldn't happen on the progynova tablets. Has this happened to anyone? She said it's not rare but it's also not common. It sounds like I shouldn't have been taking those tablets in the first place. Perhaps my body is still regular after all? Waiting on a call from my nurse. So peeved off, the cycle might get cancelled :(

Hi and welcome, PositivelyTTC! I think they make us wait 16 days because they'd rather have AF tell us the cycle was BFN instead of them having to do it... ;) I always test at home and I don't bother going in for the b/t if I know it's BFN.
Miss.B, sorry to hear that, hun. I hope the cycle can be salvaged (without compromising it's chances of success).
Afm, cramps, blah, refuse to test... Thinking I need to wait another month before doing another IUI. I don't feel like I've made enough (any?) progress with my weight and I've got another issue or two going on that make me think I should wait another month before going back on the prednisone/clexane/etc. Diet still needs a lot of work, but been doing well with the sugar - had 3 soft drinks this cycle (instead of one daily) and sweets about twice per week (again, instead of daily). Need to cut it back further, but I feel good about my progress because it's a lot better than I did the first half of the year. Haven't been game to use the scales because if I haven't lost anything I'll get discouraged and fall off the wagon again. Better to keep going in ignorance... These are good changes and they're worth making even if I don't lose weight with them...
Good job Juniper!! If you cut out the grains I promise you it will make a big difference!! Also good for endo.
I feel like I have been cramping all freaking month :( I had bad ovulation pains for about three-four days. Now I have been cramping again and backache for the past two days :( . Last night it was really sharp pains in the right hand side.
Over it already and AF isn't due for another week. Blah...
Well done Juniper you should be very proud you are doing really well
Nothing to lose...I had similar to what you are describing 8 - 10 DPO it was only on the right side and were sharp stabbing pains no clue what it was
AFM a few of hours ago I started cramping much like period pain and lower backache but AF not due for at least two more day I'm crossing everything for a BFP
MyTurn- Bugger about your lining only being 4mm but as you said you are only CD10.. Plus a lot could change over the next few days. My lining was so thin it was not measurable on CD 15.. But by CD 20 it was 8.7mm! When is your next scan honey Xx
Juniper- As the others have said you are doing really well to have made those dietry changes. You know your body better than anyone else so if you feel as though you need another month before jumping back on the iui bandwagon than that's probably the way to go Xx
N2L- don't you just hate the TWW!! Cramps can be a good sign so I'm going to pray that what you have been feeling is a little embryo getting snug Xx
PositivelyTTC- Same as for N2L.. Cramps can sometimes be a good sign if they are not accompanied with bleeding. What meds were you on for your iui? Xx
AFM- Accupuncture done and I don't go back now till after my BT.. Is this normal??
For those who are serial POAS-aholics can you offer some advice? I am thinking about 'testing out' my Pregnyl shots as I have two packs of FRER in the cupboard and DP really wants us to test ourselves before the BT so that good or bad we don't have to hear it over the phone from the clinic. Sooo when should I start testing to confirm that the Pregnyl is gone (had my last shot yesterday). I was hoping to test to confirm that it's gone and than POAS again the morning of BT.
Jasmine, I still get faint positives 7 days after a 1500iu pregnyl booster shot (haven't tested later than that), but we all metabolise the hcg at different rates... I use ICs when I test out the pregnyl, but the FRER will work just as well (just cost more). If you want to save some money, you could wait a few days before you start testing and you'd normally test daily. Or you could just start testing 3-4 days before your b/t. If you don't get any negatives, what you're looking for is the test line getting progressively darker (BFP) instead of lighter (BFN)...
