I was supposed to see the FS for follow up on Thursday but there's been an eff up with the shifts at work and I now can't make it :( I tried calling to change it but we keep missing each other. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long for another appt.

Chellico, how frustrating that they made you wait to have a transfer until the next cycle and all because of their own mistake.
AFM - I am CD12. Started lucrin on the 28th August (a week before AF was supposed to start, but it came 3 days late on the 6th of september).
Started Puregon 275mg on CD6 (11 September). Had a scan last Monday and it showed 3 follicles on the right ovary at about 9 mm (and two more very small). On the left ovary, 6 follicles at about 7 mm and 1 at 11. That was the 5th day on Puregon 275mg. They decided to increase the dose to 300mg. and keep lucrin everynight. Lucrin makes me so tired I just want to sleep all day. Next scan is on Friday, hopefully all goes well.
I want to ask if it is ok to keep taking CoQ10 after transfer?

CatyO my FS told me to continue with the CoQ10 until after the positive blood test, that was over 2 years ago now though😊 I hope your scan goes well on Friday.
I start all my injections/tablets tomorrow, then a scan on the 26th, still on the synarel for a little bit longer though :(

Twollamas, how are you doing? Have you kept to testing every second day?
I'm going well thanks Juniper (touch wood!!). I saw the gp yesterday to get new referral and she didn't even test! I've been churning through the sticks & they're getting darker, and I haven't had any spotting so I'm quietly hopeful. We thought our last preg was going fine too though, then when we went for a 2nd scan there was no hb, so I won't feel comfortable til I can see this one's hb :).

Could somebody please tell me how much the lining should measure to be considered good?
Im going for egg pick up on Monday. They reduced Puregon from 300 to 200 for tonight, which is the last injection and l trigger tomorrow. Have anyone of you had this, reduce the dose of Puregon the last day? FX everything is fine.

CatyO, good luck got Monday. I've never had my dosage dropped, but Ive heard that it happens at times.
Afm, I started acupuncture today, preparing for next cycle.
CatyO, you ideally want 10mm or more (but not too much more) at trigger. From memory, 8mm is the bare minimum you want, although I've heard of people getting BFPs with thinner linings (but I suspect they're the exceptions that prove the rule, so to speak).

Hi everyone, just a quick update. Not good news for us :(
We got 13 eggs, but only 2 were inseminated, and I don't know if those 2 are going to make it for transfer. Hopeless...
I am supposed to have a 5dt, FS said they are looking good at the moment, but today is only 1 day after egg pick up. I dont know if "they are looking good" means anything at all at this stage. She said l could have a 3dt, or just wait until day 5 to see if they make it... don't know what to do... I know is our decision at the end of the day, but what do u guys think about 3dt. Mt transfers have always been 5dt.

CatyO, sorry to hear the fertilisation didn't go well. :hug: Was that with ICSI? Did your FS have any suggestion for what she thinks went wrong? If I only had 2 embies, I'd want to do the earlier transfer. DD is from a 2dt.

Juniper, it wasnt with ICSI. RE was very surprised and dissapointed that we got 13 eggs, 9 of them looked good and were matured, but somehow only 2 inseminated. She said those 2 embryos are looking good, but l guess 1 day after insemination we cant really say if they look good? She suggested to transfer both on day 3, otherwise wait and see until saturday. And if it doesnt work, she suggested ICSI for next IVF. DH and l decided to do transfer on thursday, if the embryos are still looking good. FX

Sorry you didn't get many embies, CatyO. I would be wanting a day 3 tf in that situation too. As my FS said when we got DS after only 3 eggs were collected, it only takes 1!
Hi girls, just a quick question. I didn't stop much after egg collection, this time, only that afternoon, yesterday it stopped in the morning, then this morning when I wiped it started again. It is like pinkish cervical mucus. Has anyone of you had this? I will have my transfer tomorrow 3:30pm. Will this delay my transfer, or could it affect implantation? Im trying to contact the nurses, but Im sick of waiting on the line...

CatyO, if the spotting is just from the cervix being irritated or similar, it should be fine, but I'd definitely want to get some official advice from my FS before proceeding. I expect it would only be an issue if the bleeding is from your lining for some reason (which seems unlikely to me), which could make your lining unsuitable for implantation. Let us know what the nurses tell you. :hug:

Hi girls have just flown back into perth from bali and have to be at the clinic in 4 hours for tracking bloods, fingers crossed we have caught ovulation!!! Catyo - my ds is from a 3 day transfer :)

TubbyPuff - icsi is where a single sperm is injected into an egg. I think it's used when there are MF issues, but I'm sure not solely for that purpose. We do icsi, it's just an added cost on top at our clinic, & I haven't had to do anything different in my protocol. It's all done once collection has happened:) hope that helps a bit!

As far as I know, I don't have any issues my end, it's DP as he had the snip after his youngest was born..
