Let see, a bit of info about me.... I have a beautiful DD who is 6, TTC #2 for about 4.5 years now. We had a referral for the FS 2 years ago, but DH got cold feet about going. He has now said he is ready to go, so WooHoo for us.
We are starting temping again so we have some charts and then will go and get another referral and make an appointment hopefully somtime this year.
I will try to keep up with everyone and hopefully won't be too long before I know you all.
Hi Jo & Nic welcome to the thread! I hope that a BFP isn't too far away for the both of you.
Megan - i'm pretty sure rubella lasts 10 years too. I got mine done when i was about 12 or so, when i got tested in Jan this year (i was 27) i still had imunity but it was only just border line so i had a booster just to be sure - I'm sure you'll be fine, goodluck!
Sari - how did your scans go?
Deb - sorry to hear that AF showed her ugly face again. LOL at your DH letting you get a goat. My DH grew up in the country and would love to get some more animals but i don't think our dogs would appreciate it!
How are all the girls going who are in the TWW wait?
AF arrived this morning, not sure if its because of the lap but the cramping is no where near as bad it usually is - i haven't even had to take panadol! We went to see the natropath the other night, she's given us some more vitamins to take (i think if you shook me i would rattle lol) and we go back on Monday night for my first lot of acupuncture and she's also going to put me on some chinese herbs. I'm feeling very relaxed and positive about it all - just have to wait AF to leave so we can start BDing!
It's hard for me to concentrate at the moment, so I can only imagine how hard it is for you at the moment Allie. I'm so sorry that there were only two good embies this cycle - then again, you only need 1 - and you're half way there so I am sending you HEAPS of sticky vibes hon!
Well we went back to the specialist last night to get my stiches out, we spoke to him about not waiting so long to try IVF and he has agreed that if we're not pregnant by Xmas then in January we'll give it a go (we'd have been TTC for 2 years by then!) In the meantime DH and i are going to try out a natropath, hopefully something good comes from that.
There seems to be quite a few in the TWW at the moment - I'm sending you all truck load of sticky vibes & baby dust!
Good luck with the naturopath Boo. I hope it brings you some success so that you don't have the venture down the IVF path.
We have our appt with the FS on Tuesday night to get all of our test results and see where we are going from there. Unfortunately, I don't get to cancel my appointment because AF arrived this afternoon...early!
Oh Keen, I was so hoping to come on here today and see your temp still up, great symptoms etc...but instead I see you're on CD1. Bugger bugger bugger. :hugs:
Danni, how are you going? Not long to go now until you start your IVF cycle..... though I am hoping you have some great news in the next few days and you don't have to.
Only 2 more sleeps now until my appointment. I can't believe how quickly it has come around. Does anyone else feel their lives just speeding by at the moment? It's almost Christmas again!
Keen & Megan - yuck yuck yuck I truly hope your time comes soon. to you both.
Megan - congrads to you and Kim. Will keep my fingers crossed (LOL - usually at this point I reply with something about my knees being crossed or uncrossed depending on my cycle - sorry sick Deb humour!)
Well just a quick post cause my darling darling DH has cooked me dinner and I must go and supervise...hehe. Love him to death but dinner is nver the way I'd make it...hehe He does try though!
Hi Danni, my BT isn't til next week, this 2WW is really dragging. I hope I don't go mad before the end of it. I'm trying to stay busy and not think about stuff (not really succeeding). No promising symptoms to report...hopefully too early?
I really hope AF doesn't show for you hun. It would be terrific if you have success this cycle and don't need to take the IVF path. Wishing you loads of luck.
Allie, those TWW's that drag are horrible aren't they? I see you're 11DPO so not long to go. Hope to see a BFP in a few days!
Had my FS appointment tonight. All of our test results are fine. I have a small cyst on one of my tubes but he said nothing to worry about and it's all go for IVF next cycle. I am doing a down reg IVF cycle and start the pill on Day 2 of my next cycle. So, I have a bit of a wait as I am only on day 4 at the moment! lol Timing is everything!
Off to counselling Thursday and will then make an appt to see our Nurse, pay and get up to speed with what we have to do.
I thought I would pop in to see how you are all going. I want to see some graduates.
Allie I wouldn't worry that you only got two embies. It only takes one and I am proof of that. I had 10 embies and 7 fertilised but I then ended up with only 3. We have two frozen and they transferred one and I am now nearly 8 weeks pregnant. We had a scan last week and we could see our little one's heart beating which was amazing. Good luck and I hope to hear some good news very soon. About not noticing any symptoms yet I wouldn't worry either. I was getting mixed symptoms due to the pressie gel so I was convinced that I was getting AF any day.
Danni I wish you so much luck for your 1st IVF cycle . I do have my fingers crossed that it works this month though.
Megan I am sorry that you didn't get the result you wanted this month but I will pray that it will be next month.
Hello and lots of Baby dust to everyone and I will pop in again soon.
Well one week down one more to go, can't say i have any symptoms except for side effects of the Crinone Gel, big boobs, slightly tender, tender uterus, few ovary pains, but aside from that nothing else... I had talked myself into it and convinced myself that i would never fall pregnant, like a sixth sense that i just would never have a baby, and i cant afford to have another ivf cycle for a fair while...so i think i am just preparing myself for the worst. Everyone just keeps saying think positively, but isnt that just setting yourself up for the biggest fall of all?? See...side effects of Crinone...sadness, feelings of unworthniess, don't much like this bit of the IVF journey i must say. Sorry its a bit of a down post but this is the way i'm feeling, thats why i havent posted for a while. Hope everyone else is good.
