Thanks gorgeous ladies, I don't think I could cope without the support in here xo
Yay mrs Mac for starting your injections, good luck with your cycle :-)
Kerbear, I'm sending lots and lots of sticky vibes to your beautiful lil embie, grow embie, grow!!! Your DH is such a sweetie, made me go all teary! awwwwww.....
Mrs Mac, GL with your cycle too sweets, hope your next lil embie decides to stick like glue :crossfingers:
Mrs Mac - Mine wouldn't stick either and my fs suggested a pipelle biopsy on CD7 to aid in implantation and it worked for me last cycle. I will definately be doing it again next cycle.
Kerbear - Enjoy your TWW. Grow little embie grow :cheer:
Congrats Kerbear! Hoping this is the one! FX
Got my AMH test results back... 9.8. Not too bad I guess (for my age). Just wish it would translate into a baby :(
N2L, that's a good AMH result!! Sounds like your golden egg is just stuck in the queue to get out. ;) It'll get here.
It was 15 when I started AC just over two years ago :(
Hasn't done me much good though. Frustrating.
10 is still a respectable number. I understand the frustration though.

Larry - 7/8/12 HCG 672!!
Freya and Vic, any news?
It's very quiet in here!
I am still waiting to O *sigh*
It is quiet in here... looks like I have af few days early as of yesterday, I'm guessing bc of biopsy Monday? Was hoping af would hold off until I got my nk results, so then I would know what protocol to do next. I would like to start straight away, but I guess I'm going to have to wait now. Bummer.
n2l - maybe you should start *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* now, in case O surprises you. ; )
Oh I have Andie ;)
Noice. ; )
So I have a bit of an odd question. Do any of you find that GonalF has made AF disappear? First injection was yesterday CD4 and today AF seems to be completely gone. I have used GonalF 3 times now and its never done this to me. Is there anything wrong with only having AF for 4 days? It has never been that short for me.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, it pretty much stops AF for me MrsMac.
N2L, you and me both, babe... No egg in sight here either... :wall:
Andie, sorry to hear that. I had a similar thing happen last cycle - AF showed up early so my lap was CD4 instead of 12dpo. I hope this is but a brief pause before your BFP.
Mrs Mac, I don't recall that happening with gonal-f, but that's not to say it couldn't. Was there anything last cycle that might explain it? I think AF may have only been 4 days for me this cycle if I hadn't had the lap CD4. I'd had 3 days of super heavy bleeding but CD4 was almost non-existent (just slightly more than spotting), so I guess most of it had come out during the heavy stage?
Afm, I'm getting very frustrated with all these -opk -> 17 and counting...
decisions... should i do a stim or thaw this cycle?! spoke with clinic and they have ok'd both options. they will just treat me as if i have elevated nk cells until my results come back next week. i have 2 frozen embryo's atm but i would like to get a stim in before the end of the year, maybe even 2. i am all for thinking positively (sometimes...) but realistically i think i will need more than the 2 frozen embryos i have to get me pregnant. i think i am feeling like i need to squirrel away some nuts at this stage... and i would like to take advantage of the biopsy (sometimes it can make you more fertile, like vic's pipelle) with a fresh transfer... any opinions?
sorry juniper - posted around the same time. thankyou & goodluck with those opk's!
Bummer about AF arriving early Andie, same thing happened to me. About ur decision on weather to do a stim or FET I couldn't really say I'm sorry coz I've never had any to do a FET...but i read somewhere that the advantages of having the biopsy can last a couple of months or so. Decisions decisions!
MrsMac the same thing happened to me both times mine only went for three days & I thought something had gone wrong but the rest of my cycle was fine.
Umm this might be a silly question but what is OPK's?
AFM - still waiting for AF, all the symptoms but no AF! Grrr
Hi to everybody else
opk - ovulation predictor kit ; )
Andie, they're both valid options. Some people like to use their frosties ASAP rather than pay storage. Others like to do as many fresh cycles as possible to "bank" their frosties. If you get a BFP from a fresh cycle then when you start TTC again you're using 33-year-old eggs instead of whatever age you are when you start again. I'd probably lean towards the fresh cycle unless I felt like I needed a break from the stims (in which case I'd do a natural FET).
J.Bear, as Andie said, OPK = ovulation prediction kit. They are like HPTs except they detect the LH surge in your urine (instead of hcg) to help predict when you're about to O. Typically you'll get a +opk about 24 hours before O (usually within 12-36 hours).
Hi girlies-
I've been MIA- trying to keep my mind off IVF.
I'm doing a natural thaw cycle using my last embryo.
BT today- please, please, please let it show I'm ovulating!
Stoopid body never does what I want it to do!
Good luck Emma!
Good luck Emma. I too know the joys of having a stoopid body.
AFM - I am still waiting for AF. Maybe tomorrow, although it doesn't feel like it. Will have to see i guess. If nothing by monday I have to have another BT and maybe start provera to bring it on. I spoke to my clinic yesterday and they said my FS is happy for me to try a natural thaw for my FET. I have not done that before, but since I seem to be ovulating on my own, albeit all over the place, I really want to try as they said they have more success with natural thaws. Also I have to have my biopsy done on CD5 this time, so I have made a tentative booking for next wednesday if AF comes tomorrow. Weird as last time I had it done on CD7 of a stim, and since my cycles seem to be 33 days, you would think they would hold off a bit. Maybe because its an FET??? I have been taking my CoQ10 in case we need to do another stim in October. I have DH on stuff too :)
Does anyone have an opinion on taking Vitex to make me regular for next cycle?
Seems like we are all waiting at the moment. Waiting for AF and waiting to O. *sigh* Stoopid waiting!!!

myturn – 2/8/12 HCG = 46, 6/8/12 HCG = 196!!, 9/8/12 HCG = 544!!
Larry - 7/8/12 HCG 672!!
Emma, FX for you. :goodluck:
Vic, I hope AF shows up without the need for provera. I've taken vitex (while TTC#1) but didn't like the s/e. It didn't make a noticeable difference to my cycle as I'm normally very regular (maybe I should try it now?). With regard to the natural FET, you could take clomid or similar to help O along. I was offered that for the natural FET we did because we were squeezing it in just before Christmas, but I declined and thankfully ended up Oing in time to do the FET before the Christmas shut-down.
N2L, still waiting? What day did you O last cycle?
Juniper - I have tried clomid twice, but it didnt work for me. I ended up o on my own late as normal.
Vic, bugger. :(
vic - cant help with vitex, havent used it myself. natural thaw sounds good, hope your af decides to show up at a reasonable time.
emma - hope your BT went well today.
hi everyone else. :)
afm - decided to do a stim cycle, taking elonva tomorrow (juniper - can you put me as cd3 as of tomorrow, please?). another question: had FSH BT today, came back at 10.something - quick googling says this is the higher end of normal? borderline even? do you ladies know what your fsh is? its odd, bc my amh is slightly high, just above normal range. over the past 5+ years of BT's no one has ever mentioned FSH levels being at the higher end. :dunno:
Vic- good luck with AF!
BT showed a surge today!!!!!!
Transfer is set for Thursday :)
Yay Emma, good luck with your transfer, I will have someone to talk to in tww :-)
Andie, my FS won't even test my FSH because he believes it's a poor indicator. He said even before the AMH test became available he had no faith in FSH as an indicator of ovarian reserve, so it sounds like you should put more stock in the AMH result and worry less about the FSH.
Emma, FX for Thursday!
Hi juniper can you put me as 4dpt today BT on 7th sep, thanks lovely
Hi to everyone I am lonely in tww hurry up and come over :-)))
I like the way your FS thinks, juniper.... let's go with that rather than the scary stuff dr google is telling me...! thanks. ; )

Larry - 7/8/12 HCG 672!!
kerbear, sorry, I must have missed a day somewhere along the way.
Afm, still no egg here. I'm going to wait until CD31 and then call my FS's office to ask how long I have to wait before he'll look into what my body is (not) doing. I have to admit I'm stressing over this a bit - first last cycle was the shortest I've ever had (and the earliest I've ever O'd) and now this cycle looks like absolutely nothing is happening. I don't like not understanding what is going on and with the low AMH it's freaking me out more and more each day. :crying:
Sorry Juniper :(
Any consolation, I am still waiting too...
N2L, I'm grateful to have good company, but was hoping you'd have some better news so that you weren't feeling as frustrated as I do.
Hi all, my names Tissy, I'm a 30yo who has been TTC for 12 yrs. I've had numerous miscarriages and multiple attempts at IVF. Just looking for some like minded people to chat and to share some mutual support.
