    Hi girls

I am insanely busy with work and study, so sorry I have been MIA. I have been following your progress, but little time to post.

I"m also taking a bit of a mental leave of absence after my cancelled cycle, so I will be back on here in full swing in January!

    Love

Well we are finally getting closer to start day four our first IVF, so just popped in to say hello to all again. Had our 'Day 21' appt today, picked up all the drugs - phew! A lot more than for OI. Plus I have to take Clexane for my FVL, so that's 3 injections a day! I joked with DH that I'll have to get up at 5am to get them all done ha ha. Since I don't have an AF cycle, I essentially get to chose my start date in Jan 09 - just have to have a BT to check all is baseline and then we pick 'Day 1'.

A hiccup, hopefully minor, is that DH has come down with an infection in his testicle!!! I know - talk about bad timing. He's had it twice before in his life - something to do with being stressed and rundown. Anyway he's on some major antibiotics at the moment. I am worried it will affect his sperm quality. Has anyone experienced something similar? Clinic is going to do a SA when I do my BT before starting, but it will suck if it gets to early Jan and I find out we're delayed further. But we'll see what happens.

Does anyone use ice to numb prior to injections? I'm a little scared about doing 3 at once - I bruise easily and my OI got quite painful in the end...

Hope everyone is going well, whereever you are in your cycle!!

Oh I almost forgot my GOOD news - my PhD thesis was accepted, so now you can call me Dr P - ha ha ha.

    Hi everyone

I'm back in here again after our ectopic/miscarriage last week @ 4.5 weeks. Had a follow up with my FS yesterday and they are going to review my plan as they think I'm a "special case". May last cycle went so long - FET was at day 24 - so they seem to think that I may need more support during my cycles to make the perfect environment for my little one to live. So possibly will be changing from tablets to injections in my further cycles.

Roll on January, when hopefully we will be able to do another FET transfer and get better results this time.

Sorry for no personals, after my stressful TWW journey I'll have to read everyones posts to meet all the newbies and catch up on us old timers.

Hi everyone, I dont know if I'm in the right place but someone told me that this was an excellent site for some support so I thought I'd give it a go. We have been TTC for 5 years and am over it! I have PCOS and my hubby has issues as well. We are starting IVF (ICSI) in March after a last holiday and it can not some soon enough! I am nervous and excited and scared and everything in between. I'd love to be able to talk to people who actually get it!....anyway, here's hoping this works *BJ*

Babytruj - Good luck with IUI this month, I have my fingers crossed for you.

Neptune - Hi, hope you're ok.

JBM - Good luck with your FET hun, and good luck with the pregnyl injections.

MRS P - Good luck with your injections Dr P. A friend of mine told me you can get numbing gel from the pharmacy and she reckons it works great.

Kelly D - Sorry to hear about your news, good luck for January, lets hope the new year is a good one!

21andTTC#1 - Good on you for trying another GP. You go girl, you'll get a referral soon.

MRS M - Not long now!

Mindy80 - Good luck with your FET, I should see you in the 2WW!

BJ - Welcome, and you've come to the right place, these ladies are awesome and it really helps to speak to people who know what you are going through. Good luck for March!

lilmisshavachat - Hi, hope you're well.

Smithy - Hi honey, I hope 2009 comes quickly for you, I hope you're well

AFM - I am still a bit sore from EPU but feeling better every day. I have my Transfer on Sunday, I'm a bit nervous but very excited. This is all so new to me as this is my first cycle. We are doing a Day 5 Blastocyst. all goes well.

lilmiss- hey! yeah im trying my best! i just want the new year to start! i havent seen you in a while, hope you are doing good wll be seeing new gp next week I will make an appointment today! i do love my other gp though but he just doesnt seem to get it and i dont want to feel like im betraying him!

jen= hey! yeah ive had enough and im going to take control of something seeing i cant control my own body!

BJ- cool thats not too far from me! is dr martin any good? im not really dealing with anyone yet as the girls here know ive spent the last 3 months trying to get a referral but everyone keeps ignoring me! i was only given a urologist referral but im going to go with monash ivf at allamanda hospital in southport. i want my referral by new year! good luck with your journey, please keep me updated!

everyone else try and stay strong! i know x mas is hard, but i think of it as just another day, and one to spend with my wonderful partner. new years is just around the corner and i'l be approaching turning 22 and having to do ivf, who would have thought! I never did! Also Ive never brought this up but i had clamydia in the past due to infedelity on my partners behalf, and would you believe it was with a heavily pregnant woman, the irony! all is forgiven and was many years ago now but it is always in the back of my head that this is the cause of all the problems, has anyone experienced std related infertility, if you dont mind me asking, also I know what DP did was absolutley terrible but we are happy now and much in love so please dont judge, thankyou.

On a much happier note! I think when we all get our BFP's we have to meet up! just a thought!
