Hi ladies Hope everyone is having a lovely lazy Sunday morning.
Milly - I think the sperm analysis was covered in my costs. From memory the only money my partner had to cough up for was a sperm assay test of $150. The boys get off pretty easy. Private health insurance is very frustrating. I upgraded in advance for trying to conceive. I thought the 12-month wait would apply only to pregnancy, not the IVF. So imagine my disappointment when my first IVF cycle was about 2 weeks off the 12-month wait and we were not covered! Very annoying, but then the good thing was we had met the Medicare safety net and got 80% back off all other cycles/doctors visits etc.
Emstar - for Monday.
LMM - for Tuesday
Rob - for Monday.
Melttc and Meo - I am not fully apprised of the Victorian police check, but I noticed a thread about it elsewhere. Unbelievable if you have to get a screening check before you can do another round of IVF. What are the bureaucrats thinking?
MHIC - When do you find out for sure if it's a BFP so you can tell family/friends? I hate POAS, probably because every time I have done there's only one testing line that I see ... After last time and I was rolled up in a ball on the bed crying myself silly, I vowed no more POAS for me until I get a BFP from BT and then I'll do one
AFM, thanks to everyone who wished me well for my EPU. It went better than expected, and had 15 eggs when expecting only 8. We do ICSIs, and two follices were uninjectible. So, of 13 eggs, 11 have fertilised. This is our best result yet so

MHIC, those numbers sound wonderful! Congratulations! Sounds like you've done it!
Milly, we have never used DH's insurance (we have separate insurances too). Unless he is being admitted to hospital (eg TESE) there shouldn't be any need.
Sonyalouise, no results yet. We should see him tomorrow.
Afm, I'm about to head out to pick up some protein powder. I started spotting last night so AF is on the way and we should be kicking off IVF#4 as soon as she's here!
Just a quick one as off to the relos to share in our happy snaps from Fiji!
Brunette - In response to your question, we were told after our last BT which was last Thurs that it would be after tomorrows BT. Hmmmmm its driving me crazy. FX for tomorrow.
Well, I took my trigger last night I was due to take it at 09:30pm, so get everything ready at 09:15 as usually it takes me ages to do the needles, I tend to sit there pushing it in a little at a time rather than do a quick jab, so thought i'd give myself 15 minutes to get the job done. But I managed to get it in first go, so sat there with the needle hanging out of my stomach for 5 - 10 minutes waiting for it to get closer to 09:30, my husband thought I was crazy!!
But i've woken up this morning expecting to feel really bloated, but my stomach feels suprisingly normal. Now i'm worried that i've some how ovulated early, how did you all feel before pick up??
Hope things are continuing to travel well for you all
Hi LittleMiss, I am usually a little bloated before pick-up but to tell you the truth what I notice most is the stinging/itchy sensation from the trigger injection. I hate those triggers! The site on my stomach where I inject is red and itches/stings for up to two days afterwards!
Hi Everyone hope you are doing well wherever you are in your cycle. Just dropped over from the TWW to let you know the results are in and its a Ultrasound booked for 21st Dec to do a head count lol.
Thank you all so much for your support over the last 18months we couldn't have done it without you.
