Trubabe - at least she is keeping you busy and your mind away from ttc!! All the vet visits sound expensive

murraycod - Good luck with your IVF. Are you getting Lucrin injections too? I am so unfamiliar with everything, and have asked the doc for a calendar, but I think certain things have to happen before next stages... I am giving the inj myself - my DH is too scared of hurting me, and it is better to do it myself, I don't hate him then for hurting me

murraycod, I did my first EPU in Nov 08. I still remember how terrified I was. It was my first ever general anaesthetic... At the time we were in the process of finally getting some life insurance and I was so scared that I made sure I had that signed and finalised prior to the EPU. And in the end, it was the easiest part of the whole process! I walked into the room, lay on the bed, had the IV inserted and woke up in recovery feeling more rested than I had in weeks! I had some mild cramping after, but no bleeding. (I had some bleeding for IVF#2, but then none again for #3.) I'm actually looking forward to it this time - two days off work - bliss!!

Emerald star - you're so naughty hee hee. I can't talk either though. The POAS is hard to resist. I think there are definitely some good signs there. What post-transfer meds are you on? Did you have pregnyl? I think waiting til Friday is a good idea. I know I was caught out with light +ves in my 1st and 2nd transfer which I think was the pregnyl still in my system even after 10 days. Wishing you all the very best of luck

Emstar I have everything crossed for you. I POAS after 6 days and also got a positive. But I wasn't on anything just a natural FET. OMG I hope this is the one for you.

Em Star - This might be where we part ways, because I also POAS 11dpo, or 6dp5d transfer and got a BFN So I think it's certainly a good sign for you to get a faint positive line as early as you have. I also POAS on 10dpo but stuffed the test up, which is why I repeated it the following day. So Tuesday was not a good day for me. I basically have given up on this round. I don't feel UTD. I don't have any symptoms, not even sore boobs (which I have on other cycles albeit they were negative). I am not in a good place with it all at the moment. We had our best cycle yet, heaps of good quality embies. Two blasties transferred and they were rated by the scientist as the top grade - so why doesn't it work? I don't know what else I could have done. It's just so unfair. To top it all off, we have to attend a 2yo's birthday party soon. So I will have to put on a smile on my dial and go along to see everyone else's kids when I can't have my own!

Sorry for the vent. I am so p'd off by how unfair the world can be.

Trubabe, they're gorgeous! Glad to hear they finally arrived safe and sound!

Brunette, 11dpo may still be early, but I understand where you're at. I was meant to go to a baby shower a day after my BFN for IVF#2 and I just couldn't do it. Within a week of that we also had a 1st birthday/baptism to go to and another friend gave birth (I ended up crying when we visited her in hospital, but luckily since their first child was from IVF she understood)...

    Emerald Star, !!!

Afm, if I do manage to get a BFP from this, I'll be making lots of jokes about my "baby brain" starting before I was pg... I'm becoming the most absent-minded person in history! I just had this moment of panic wondering if I'd forgotten to do my shot this morning. Like I could forget to do that! Or could I? If I could forget I've done it, could I forget to do it? Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!
