    Congratulations Me4Ever...How exciting!!

Juniper can you please add me to the board? They are counting Tues as day 1 so now I am on CD3.

I spoke to my FS yesterday and we've decided to do another FET and if it fails then we will look for other things (blood clotting, killer cells, chromosomes etc) to see if something's changed or if my DS was a one in a million in her eyes as well as mine. I am feeling a bit better though a bit scared, she said that 3 IVFs most people would have a BFP....I didn't really think that was the case but am crossing my fingers that this time it will work.

AF cramps are again yuk, and heavier too - thanks to all those lovely pessaries. I said to my DH that it's bad enough to have spend the $$, the time getting blood tests, undignified process of the whole thing not to even mention the emotional toll and hopes that you have to not only have a delayed AF because of the supplements so you think you're still in with a chance but because of them you have worse cramps and heavier flow that a 100% natural cycle when AF finally does arrive...Hopefully tomorrow the cramps will have stopped. I think next time I will see if I can have pregnyl injections instead (I hate having to get out of bed 30mins earlier each day just to get the messy things!)

Does anyone know about taking asprin each day? I was going to call the nurses and ask if it's harmful/OK to do? I just read alot of people on the US sites seem to talk about it...

Hummingbird, I'm on low dose (100mg) aspirin. Whilst it is safe in most situations, I believe there are some specific situations where it can cause problems, so it's best to do it under medical supervision. I've only ever taken it during cycles on doctor's orders. Chances are, if you ask your Dr about it, they'll give their approval. This cycle I'm not only taking the aspirin, I'm also on clexane, prednisone and feldene (but just since O for that one), not to mention a heap of supplements. Lol, and I'm doing both pessaries and pregnyl for luteal support! We're throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it with our new FS. Our previous FS didn't believe in any of it, aside from the aspirin.

Thanks for the congrats, Mrs Mac, Hummingbird & Miss B! I want to be excited, but don't dare to yet.. Let's see what the next blood test brings.

Hummingbird, I'm sorry about AF showing up Hugs... I'm using disparin and I just checked and it's got 300mg aspirin in it. I never really checked for the amount I was taking, now Juniper mentioned it I might go for a lower dose... I'm only taking it every second day as I started bruising pretty quick, can understand it now, with amount of aspirin in it I have used it on and off during TTC, but started only recently, at the start of the cycle before this month's FET. I have endo and for the first time in ages I didn't have a painful period due to not having blood clots & now I have a BFP. This hasn't been prescribed by fert. specialist, but I didn't think it would hurt using it!

me4ever, it's the 100mg aspirin the FSs tell you to use - all 3 of my FSs have instructed me to take that dose. In America, they usually use "baby" aspirin (80mg). Thing is, it's a NSAID, so you don't want to be taking full doses while TTC unless your Dr has instructed you to do so. It's also category C for pregnancy, so I'd recommend you speak to your FS's office about it and you should definitely tell your OB when you start seeing them. I started low dose aspirin after EPU for my last IVF cycle and continued until 36 wks, but that was a joint decision between my FS and OB, not my decision, and it was done under medical supervision (including extra blood tests to monitor its effects).

Hi ladies, just got home from having EPU, all went well just very tired (was up at 4.20am) and a little bit sore. They collected 20 eggs so I'm wrapped with that. They're going to call tomorrow morning with fertilization rates. Not doing a transfer, going with freeze all and transfer later.

Yay for successful EPU Faye! Now it's time to rest up and get healthy and ready for the FET next month! xxx

Juniper - I called the clinic and they told me to stop taking the aspirin, although the weird thing is they said due to bleeding tendencies, but I never did bleed before, I just went, okay and called off... Hmmm, if we need to see the FS again, if things go wrong, I'll clarify this with her... Thanks again for your info.

Faye, yay! Glad to hear it went well! Put your feet up for a couple of days and keep your fluid intake high.

me4ever, I'm glad you spoke to them. The aspirin thins your blood. It will take some time for your blood to get back to normal (someone was explaining to me this afternoon that the thinning is "permanent" for the blood cells you currently have, so it doesn't reverse until your current blood cells are replaced with new ones), so be careful with any cuts for a while. The purpose for taking the low dose aspirin is to thin your blood, the reason for taking higher dose (ie dispirin) is for pain relief. They're too very different goals and you need to be careful to take the right dose for the right purpose.

At least you don't have to wait long for those results! I had 10 eggs at EPU and 6 fertilised.

Treenie86, I think I have the date right - best of luck with your surgery today!
Thanks faye, yep had my lap yesterday, went in the morning, had surgery around lunch time, but didn't come home until this morning. First time I got up to go to the loo and change ready to go home, I nearly fainted and was white as a ghost. My blood pressure had dropped really low, was something like 38! Ended up have 3 bags of fluid and they thought it would be best for me to stay in overnight for observation. I was happy with that, didn't want to head home not feeling right and worrying that something would happen at home. Have now found out that like my Dad, my blood pressure drops when I sleep. I'm home now and feeling good, napping on the couch occasionally and watching Sons of Anarchy dvd's with hubby.

There was no endo, and hardly any cyst (although gyno said that it looked like I had an ovulation cyst on my left ovary which was also slightly enlarged) I'm thinking now that they pain I was getting with each period may have been me passing the cyst? I will have to remember to ask our FS when we see her on Friday. My tubes are also all clear and gyno said that inside my uterus looked good, but will have to wait and see what the sample says. Hopefully we can get stuck into it now, although i'm feeling a little disappointed that they didn't find something that may be the reason for our troubles.

Welcome to anyone that is joining us, hope your stay is short for the right reasons.
Congratulations me4ever, fingers crossed you are holding your healthy little bub in a few months time.

Hello to all the other lovely ladies, sorry that I don't post much, hopefully i'll do so more regular with actual updates.

ETA- Can I also please be updated on the list to CD2? Thank you

Just got my results... 10 eggs have fertilized... Was a bit disappointed as started with 20 eggs but I think that's still a good number. Just hope we don't lose too many getting to day 5.
