AFM- well i had my epu on monday and it did not go at all like I expected, I think we really bombed out actually. I only got a few eggs with majority being immature and the one or two that were mature were of bad quality (last cycle we transferred a grade 1 embryo). So the nurses called on tues to tell me that they didnt even do icsi on my eggs and to my amazing disappointment had nothing to transfer on wed . Im so so sad as I should be pupo right now over in the TWW thread sharing the experience with everyone. So Im just taking the time to grieve and will regroup and formulate a new plan with the fs at my appt on fri. I still have some positives to focus on its just hard sometimes to not lose a bit of hope with each disappointment. I havent been on since Monday I think I just needed to step back fom BB for a lil bit and not be SO focused on TTC but I do still like to check in and just read sometimes, an announcement of a BFP always brings a smile to my face. I hope to start cycling again asap so Ill be back on again for sure (couldnt keep me away) but I think some time out might be just what I need. I wanted to thank you all heaps for your support and encouragement, it really helps tremendously.
Dutchie, I am so sorry hun. It is really such a let down when cycles go pair shaped, especially before transfer. Take whatever time you need and the lovely BB LTers will be here for you when you feel up to it.
Ella's mum, if you asked your question in the general LTTTC/AC thread area you may get some of the past LTer ladies able to help you out.

WEll ive found out why i havent got a BFP for 2 yrs. Last Fri i had a lap and turns out ive got severe endo - the pics look gross. I have it on the ovaries etc and even my stomach. Gotta go back to FS on Mon to see what to do - either operation to remove it or a course of injections.
Any1 else in same situation? if so what did you end up doing?
I know we ALL will have our dreams come true this year! I can feel it.

afm: well got a scan booked for monday for this last FET, our last frosty. i am feeling a bit anxious and worried it won't thaw, i am trying to be positive, but finding it a bit harder after our last one in dec.
i am praying so much and keeping so busy i won't even have time to worry in TWW. btw we will be going camping if possible during my TWW, if i can bribe work to give me the time off, only 1 day off work as will go on long weekend.
i'll keep you informed of results. fingers and toes crossed for me.
G'day guys time to jump threads have been in the TTC 12+ for a while now and unfortunately we will no longer be unassisted in our attempts for our bundle of joy. DH and I have been trying to conceive for almost two years this will be our first and next thursday we are off to the specilaist to start IUI this AF that has just hit was a devestating blow as it was our last unassited try and once again failed. As dusty said to me it's hard mentally to make the jump but am confident that we will get our BFP soon just keeping up the hope is getting harder every time AF rears it's ugly head.

Dutchie, I am so sorry to hear your news, it must be such a disappointment after the lead up and the stimming. Even if you are not posting, please know we will still be thinking of you and wishing you well. I hope what ever changes you FS makes to your protocol for your next cycle will make all the difference. Big hugs.
Trueblue, welcome, I am sorry you have to be here, but this is the best place to be for anyone in our situation, I am sure you will find endless support here in your TTC journey. I too know it is a hard jump to AC, it took me 3 years, and in hindsight I only wish I had have done it sooner. I look at AC as offering the best possible chance for a BFP that just wasn't happening for me naturally. I normally can't wait to start a cycle and hate having to wait during the off cycles. For me though I am in the 'very obsessive' stage. I hope your stay in here is very short and you have success first go.

AFM, I think AF is arriving with a little bit of spotting, and expect her in full force tomorrow. I am feeling so excited and positive about this cycle. I have a new FS (lucky Lindstrom she called herself) and am hoping a new pair of hands, a new protocol (natural FET) and some fabulous blasties (3 ready and waiting) will result in my first ever BFP. Please God please God please God let it be so.

hey guys just a quick reply, and YES I AM STILL ALIVE!!!, just been so busy with school and work and life in general.
anyway i got af early this month so looks like we can do a march FET !!. YEAH. i phoned clinic today and got a scan on monday since af has been a bit naughty since my last FET they're doing it early in case i have another shorter cycle,
i am so excited and nervous as we only have one Frosy left , am starting to think what if it doesn't survive thaw? dh has said no more after this.
i've got everything crossed.

Hi Tania, that sounds much better, looks like you should have at least the three, keeping fingers crossed for you.
My FS just called and we've decided to wait another month, instead I'll be starting with DHEA. Feeling reliefed and planning to do lots of nice and relaxing things in between.

Toby - I was in hospital for 7 days the 1st time round, that was due to getting pneamonia! Because they didnt do much inside, I was back at work 3.5 weeks after coming out of hospital. They told me recovery was 4 weeks. The 2nd op was alot more involved and I struggled. Again in hospital for 7 days and I was back at work 4.5 weeks after coming out of hospital. They told me recovery was 6 weeks all up. The cut was bigger 2nd time round since they had to do more inside. Im lucky that Ive been at my work for 19yrs (yes a LONGGGGG time, lol) so I had lots of sick leave owing to me. That makes it hard if work dont allow you to have apps during the day cause as you said, you cant tell the FS what hours to work!!!! Im glad you have some answers now that explains why you are having pain. I was shattered to find out how extensive my endo was but Im now relieved that Ive had the op and am painfree for the time being and that I now have a better chance of getting pg. I hope it all works out for you.

AFM, just waiting on a call from the clinic to advise me of the trigger time for tonight and time of EPU. Im not holding onto much hope since I have 2 maybe 3 eggs. The quality of my previous eggs werent good so feeling pretty down especially since I was on such a high doseage this cycle. Can anyone tell me how you can improve egg quality? Im been doing acu since early Jan and been having the chinese herbs too. Was hoping that would improve things but its only been worse.
thanks loops am feeling a little over my head. I'll just be glad on thursday when the FS is going to tell us exactly what is happening and hw things are going to happen am still anxious and just want it to be here already we have worked it out that if we start IUI next cycle we should find out of it has work on easter monday how cool would that be am not religeous at all but it'd be cool anywho better scoot have been keeping myself busy still having trouble sleeping we must catch up soon maybe we could have u guys over for a bbq when you have some time off when do you finish milking for good?
