Twomums - I didnt respond well during my 2nd stim cycle so I was on FSH for 12 days so its not out of the ordinary. I too was on 225 iui that time and had no follicles after 6 days so I wouldnt worry too much. Good luck.

Loops - hope AF doesnt arrive and you conceive your natural miracle

    Thanks

Baby2Bee - yes it is very hard when it is unexplained infertility but I suppose things could be a lot worse so we need to remain positive. Thanks for your support and the best of luck to you and your DH. Hope AF doesnt arrive.

Tania - Thanks for your support

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for the selfish post, but I am too excited, don't have much time, and just had to get my news out.

My FS appointment went well, I have a lead follie at 11mm, another scan hopefully on Saturday morning, and if ok I will trigger on Saturday to O on Monday, for ET the following Saturday, hoping my 3 blasties will thaw fine so I have 2 to transfer.

But that is not the good news, if you can call my news good, but I am so happy that they have found 'something' wrong.

I have tested positive to MTHFR (for a I joke I call it mother f**ker, lol). This was one of the only BTs my last FS didn't request, not sure why, or if it was just an error. My new FS saw it was missing and asked for it right away.

From what I have googled so far, it is related to thrombophilia, it means I am not absorbing folic acid and B6 and B12, can lead to increased levels of homoscystein, and also blood clotting disorders. And something to do with the proteins of this gene inhibiting fast growing cells, which is what an embryo is.

So, I am on large doses of folic acid, B6, B12, baby aspirin and will be injecting Clexane from ET. Now back to hoping that this makes all the difference, at least this is something to address. Fingers crossed for me.

Love to everyone, will be back in for personals soon, hugs xx

I'm loving the name! Fingers crossed that this is the problem that's has been stopping your BFP's! (feels strange being happy about it!!). We don't know what our problem is and that's the worst bit i think!

BDT- Great news. Hopefully the new meds can get you that much deserved BFP. It must be nice to finally have some answers.
I am going to be asking for more testing today at FS appt as I have tested positive for ANA- Anti Nuclear Antibodies not sure what this means in relation to getting my BFP but we will soon see.
Good luck with your upcoming FET Im sure you will have 2 beautiful blasts to transfer!

To everyone else wishing you all and

    Hi girls,

BDT - glad all went well and everything is on track for your FET It does sound funny that them finding something wrong is good news but at least it hopefully explains things. you get your BFP this month.

Dutchie - hope your appt went well.

AFM, still have a head cold so my mind has been mainly on trying to get better. Im that implantation will still happen or has happened!

    Take care,

    Hi Girls,

    Just fropping in quickly.

Went to FS today and we are starting fresh stim cycle when AF comes, they say should be Sunday.

I also asked to put 2 back as I didn't want to risk freezing them and losing them again and after checking with the head FS that's what we will do.

So it's onward and upward from here.

to everyone on wherever you are with your TCC and cycles. Be back tomorrow with more time I hope. xxx

PS Thank you all so much for your support it makes a world of difference to have someone to talk with even though we are all so far apart.

    Synarel

    Hi everyone,

I wanted to pop in and say hello as I am new to this thread.

I am on day 2 of my first IVF stim cycle.

How bad is the Synarel. It was so painful on my nose yesterday. It caused me to sneeze and hack for about 15 mins afterwards. So today I thought I would try doing what the Indians do before my morning spray. I cupped some warm water in my hand and sniffed it up, then blew it out (sounds gross). Then a couple of minutes later I sniffed the Synarel. Wow - 80% difference in how the Synarel felt. No sneezing, barely any pain/tingling and no hacking at all. I think I'm onto something here girls. Was way more pleasant. Pass it on!

Fingers crossed I get some nice healthy eggs for pick up.

    Have a great day everyone

BrisVegas : welcome to BB, I hope this cycle is the one for you, beginners luck.

Dutchie : Go to the thread, tests because of failing to implant... Farmgirl was diag with ANA, and she decribes what the positive ANA test means, Hope that helps ...

Hi to all you lovely ladies, wishing everyone luck this month xxx

    Hi all

I have 5 days to go until we have our pregnancy test, i cant wait but im also terrified at the same time.

does anyone know what should and should not happen to you between having the blasty put in and the preg test? Last night i got really worried because i started having period pain cramps (no bleeding). i hope its normal. i guess one thing i have on my side is that my boobs seem to be firmer and they are quite sore.

At what point is the blasty supposed to implant?

i hope someone can answer my questions, the closer im getting to "the big day" the more anxious im getting.

    Hi Girls
Going for my first scan on stim cycle tomorrow which will be CD10 but StimCycle Day8. Hope to have some lovely follies.

BDT: I had a friend with that condition and she also ate lots and lots of leafy greens and ended up conceiving naturally so good luck.

Thanks for tip about Synarel - hurts so much...will try this way.

Busy - from what i understand it takes about 5-7 days for hatching and maybe implantation but i am no expert and i think others may know better. Anyway, good luck for your test.

Busy I don't know anything to give advice but the sore firm boobs is a good sign just try and relax as much as possible in this agonising time of having to wait. Fingers crossed you have some wonderful news to tell.

    Howdy all.
I've been hiding out since my last cycle results a couple of weeks ago. I think I was in denial that I was actually in this catagory again. Anyhow, I am getting back on the wagon again so to speak.

Will try to catch up with personalls again next post.

Not sure when we will get back to repromed for our last FET. Have only just got medicare back from the last one. Ruddy money is delegated to paying for our aircon repair bill and the visa Hate being back in the waiting game.

Hope everyone else is going ok. handfuls of :baby dust: being sprinkled over you all.

    Hello All

This is my first time on this thread so hello to everyone.

We are just starting out on our first IVF cycle. Doing down reg and on the pill at the moment and will start synarel in about 2 weeks which I'm not looking forward to at all with all this talk about how much it hurts etc!!! I sometimes wonder whether I shouldn't do so much reading - perhaps ignorance is bliss?

Anyway best of luck to you all
