    Thankyou..........
I have my EPU on 15/05 so i think its a longer cycle than normal??? Not sure. I have to be on the pill for a while first. I currently have 2 friends preg from IVF; one with twins after a failed fresh and a failed frozen, now preg after 3rd fresh. Other friend got preg on first go of IVF but had what seemed liked 100 iui cycles first, one MC after natural conception. Both are due in may/june . Can anyone give me advice on blast t'fers? Do you wait to see how many eggs/embies you have before making a choice? There is so much info out there. Any other hints/tips for new players? Cheers girls.........

    Hi lovely ladies,

Check out my new avy, I love it, DH is Greek and we love Santorini, hence the inspiration behind it.

WLAB, best of luck in your flare cycle, praying it is the one for you. Big hugs.

Loops, hope AF stays away, GL in your TWW.

Tania, same to you, hope you are coping ok, I have ready implantation takes place anywhere between 6dpo and 12dpo, I did read somewhere that there was some theory that implantation takes longer or is delayed slightly in IVF. Not sure where they got this from, might be due to average hcg BT results being slightly lower??? to you.

Baby2Bee, GL to you too in your TWW.

TwoMums, those follies sound great, lets hope the upped dose and a few more days does the trick. Re E2 levels, they use this to measure the maturity of the follies you have, I think that a fully mature follie equals something like 400 to 600 E2. The closer to EPU, the more rapidly the E2 levels rise. GL for your scan on Tue.

Mollygirl, glad to hear you are feeling better, I hope this new protocol makes all the difference and hope QFG comes up with some new ideas. Thinking of you.

Busy, you are telling me, my SIL has just fallen pregnant first month trying with triplets naturally, would you believe it. I have had 4+ years of watching everyone else fall pregnant, it is the hardest thing I have ever had to cope with in my life. Also, keep in mind chocolate has caffeine, so don?t go overboard.

Hi Lani, welcome, GL in your TWW with your FET, hoping you get your BFP.

Dusty, I hope you are well, I just checked your journal, glad to hear your cycles are doing so great, the TCM must really make a difference. Thinking of you.

Mellmell, and welcome to you too. for beginners luck, from what I have seen in this forum over the last year, it seems those that have MFI and go on to IVF seem to have success right away. And coupled with previous pregnancies, this puts you in really good stead. GL to you.

Hi to everyone else, good luck with your sniffing, jabbing, EPU and waiting. Xx

AFM, I has my scan yesterday, my lining was 9.1 mm and a follie at 17 mm, FS triggered me right then and there, so I should O at midnight tonight, and ET is scheduled for next Sat 14th. I can't wait. DH and I will DTD tonight anyway.

    Love and kisses to everyone.

    Hi lovelies,

Nothing exciting from me to report. Having (sorry TMI) EXTREME vulva itchiness since last cycle ended. Is this normal does anyone know? I usually get a bit like it on the down side of a cycle but not this early. I'm guessing my prog levels arent right yet? Arrrggghhhh, not comfy

Really just popped in to wish everyone all the best for March. We need a big set of BFP like Jan.

    Hugs, Sazz

Hi Ladies, sorry I haven't been around for a while. I've had a hectic time at work and no opportunity to get onto the BB threads. Thank you for your support re my cancelled cycle. To update you, the cancellation did not go ahead!!!! A BT the following day showed that my levels were dropping but they were just taking their sweet time. Finally on Sat they confirmed that I was officially supressed and I have now had two puregon injections with my first scan booked for Wed morning.

Will I potentially have an idea of how many eggs I have by Wed??? Also, today I'm noticing that I am urinating like there's no tomorrow. My bladder feels continuously full. I haven't had no more than normal to drink and am needing the bathroom at least once an hour before I feel like I'm going to explode. Is this something to be concerned about? I can't seem to find frequent urination as a side effect of puregon!?!

To those of you asking questions about the various types of cycles I don't even know what I'm having (synarel starting on CD22 and just started puregon two days ago) . I might have to do my research on the different types of cycles that can be done in IVF so we can all be on the same page.

I apologise that I haven't had the opportunity to catch up on everyone's posts since I was last here but wanted to wish everyone all the best for whatever stage you are at. Will try to check in more frequently!!!!

Busy, sorry to hear of your bad news. for Apri.

I had my blood test today and it is :BFN:, had a reading of 2 so they say something tried to happen. This is also what they said last cycle, which ended in a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, so I am waiting to hear back from FS if i need to do anything else.

    to all.

    Sending lots and lots of

Well guys we went for our scan and we only have 4 promising follicles. 1 x 14mm 2 x 11 on the right side. 1 x 12 and couple of smaller ones that probably wont get any bigger. Dr said that the 14mm one is the dominate follicle and that it is probably sucking up all the FSH. We have to go back on Friday for another scan and keep up with 300iu Gonal-F and Lucrin. By Friday it will be 15 days of stims...not looking good for IVF so it is most likely that we will have to convert this cycle to IUI instead. At least we will have 4 follies and a brand new sperm donor. Hopefully this will be just the change we need. Sorry for no personals this morning, just wanted to update, I'm at work...Feeling a little dissapointed about converting to IUI. We have done 11 IUI's already and usually triggered by day 12 and insemination of day 14, not day 18....Our last IUI was with 4 follicles also and nothing happened............

I apologise for my ignorance TwoMums but howcome you'll have to go with IUI instead of IVF? You can see this is all still so very new to me!

    Hi everyone,

I'm not doing much and nothing is happening with me, but I can't help posting. I am just waiting waiting. Am 1dpo today, I have my ET booked in for Saturday. I am praying my blasties will thaw ok, but feeling very positive.

Sazz, Sorry I can't help you re the itchiness, I haven't had this. Hope you are well.

Neptune, thanks for popping in, you are an inspiration, I am sneakily going to the PALTTC tread to see how you are going. Thinking of you.

Jaxi, Great news you did not cancel. Will Wed be 5 days of injections? If so, seems a little early to see what is going on. Either way I hope you have some lovely follies growing. GL with your scan.

Busy, so sorry AF arrived, GL with your next cycle.

Lani, so sorry about your BT. Interesting they are suggesting something tried to happen, from what I have heard most women have some small level of hcg in their system all the time. I have read that a normal non-pregnant hCG level is under 2; however, labs have different standards as to what they consider positive. Some lab norms say a level is negative under 5, under 10, or under 25. I would clarify this with your FS, as it makes a big difference if your result is a very early m/c or just a normal low level of hcg, and potentially how they treat you further. Would love to hear what they say about this, as a low level would still give us some hope that something is happening.

TwoMums, I have heard lots of inspirational stories of lower follie numbers that have resulted in a BFP. Either way, whether you go to EPU or do IUI, I really hope this month is the month for both of you. GL for Friday.

Hi to everyone else. I hope you are all well.

    Converting to IUI???

Jaxi - Dr said he would like to have at least 8 follicles to make it worthwhile to go ahead with IVF. If we still only have 4 follies on Friday, we will trigger and do IUI instead. If that is not sucessfull we will do IVF again next cycle, starting on 300iu of Gonal F straightaway to try and get 8+ follicles. Kim is what he calls a "poor responder".

Babydreamtime - Do you mean cycles that were converted to IUI or IVF that went ahead with low follie numbers?

    Henley Boulez's

Just letting you all know spoke with the clinic again and FS wants to repeat BT on Friday.
Babydreamtime- I know what you are saying about low levels of HCG could be normal.

I will keep you updated with what happens on friday.

Also can everyone please advise what FS they are seeing if they are in Sydney. I am looking at getting a second opinion but thought I would see who if anyone others are using.

    Hi Everyone,

I am day 9 of my first (short) cycle of IVF. Weird symptoms everyday. One question I wanted to ask was, is it normal to still get te stringy discharge and low temps you would normally see around ovulation time? Because that's what I have and I have begun to worry that perhaps the Synarel might not be doing it's job.

Laniwantsababy - I live in Bris now, but had an awesome FS in Sydney when I lived there who I would love to recommend to you. Can I email his name to you?

Twomums - sorry to hear about another IUI for you both. Say positive.

I'm crossing my fingers that my body is not trying to ovulate right now before my EPU next week.

    Have a good day everybody

    Hi Ladies,

Lani I live in Sydney and am REALLY happy with my FS so far. I'll PM you his details.

Well I just came back from my first ultrasound since starting the puregon and was amazed to find that after only 4 days of injecting 150ml I have around 30 follicles (about 15 on each side) that already range between 8-11mm so they're reducing my dosage to 100ml and will get me back in for another scan on Friday. They've also now diagnosed me with PCOS which had never been diagnosed before. They said it's the only explanation for what's happened so quickly and I guess I'm now at risk of OHSS (that is what it's called right??). Interestingly, TwoMums, I've read about a few studies where they've shown they are able to obtain much better quality eggs where the follicle number is low so now I'm concerned about the quality of my eggs with so many. I would be interested to hear about anyone else with a similar experience and the outcome. Should I be nervous or excited. I don't know whether this is a good or bad start!?!
