Thanks for thinking of me miss B!
As always, I am fighting the internal battle of another cycle.
Spending money we don't have, BCP, Synarel, injections, scans, BT's, EPU and then ANOTHER BFN (possibly)
Can I do it all again? I'm not sure.
I want another baby..... Why can't it be easy?

    TT40 you absolute superstar YOU!!!!!

I am so thrilled for you - I hd a feeling that no news may be good news I'm with positively -what a totally brilliant start to the week! 240 - totally awesome levels Maybe there is more than one in there!

Sorry everyone I'm too excited to do persies after TT40's totally brilliant news - other than to say Juniper and Miss B I have everything crossed that you lovely ladies will be next and continue on the run of luck TT40 has started

Emma - I just wanted to say I'm thinking of you... It's a really debilitating and difficult journey. There are no right answers so you can only do what is best for you and your DH, I wish it could be easier for you and for everyone in here... My best wishes are with you.

AFM - I rang the clinic yesterday and both day 3 embies survived the thaw at 1pm yesterday both were 8 cells, and the embryologist said that they hadn't lost any cells or suffered and damage as a result of the freeze or the thaw, which I guess is great news? She said I should call back today to see how they had gone overnight.. I'm just not sure what time to call? I'm desperate to call this morning - but part of me thinks I should wait until this afternoon to see how they go throughout the day? Maybe I will do both.... Does anyone know what the 'ideal' number of cells is for a day 3 embie? I wish I could remember what number of cells the twins embie was on day 3 (at the time you think you'll remember everything because you are so engrossed in the process) and then you can't remember any of the important stuff! So I'd be really grateful for anyones knowledge or experience in this area... I'll keep you informed (especially you positively since you'll be going through this in a few short weeks xx

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Joski I missed your post! I just wanted to let you know - that I often have O bleeding, which is usually really light - brown blood when I wipe. The first time it happened I had no idea what was going on - but I knew I was ovulating from the home ovulation predictor kits... So I called my FS and he explained that sometimes when your follicle bursts open and releases an egg - there can be some light spotting....

So I would say the brown blood is a good sign and may mean that your ovulating, the egg has been released etc? I'm not a fan of dr google personally, but if you google ovulation bleeding - you'll find more 'scientific' explanation I think.... Good luck, I hope this is a positive sign for you.

    Xx

    TT40, yay! Congrats!

Afm, bracing for AF any time now. Haven't re-tested since all the normal pre-AF pains have started... Just hoping to make it through today (work and then a podiatrist appt) without it starting...

dont give up Juniper!! on Tuesday I was 100% sure AF was coming, i had every single sign, including cramps, everything was exactly as it was when AF was due. I was so sure I even made sure my cup was steriled and in my pocket before i went out, and stuck an energy drink in the fridge knowing i couldnt have it when pregnant. and well...AF never came... this was before i got a bfp on a poas too.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

If nothing happens by tomorrow night, I'll test again, but, between the lower back pain and aching legs, I'm pretty sure it's AF on the way. I've never had either of those pre-AF symptoms with a BFP...

    Yay TT- congrats again xx

Thanks thirdtime- I spoke to my Gyno this afternoon and she said the same thing, still need to get bt on Wednesday, she thinks that rising hormone levels have caused the bleed and is confident that I will still O - otherwise I've just had an 18 day cycle.

Thinking of all you lovely ladies xx

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Congratulations TT40! What a lovely surprise for you especially as they made you wait, silly buggers. Do you mind me asking, were you testing right up until the BT and still getting negatives?

Emma, I hear you hun . I've basically resigned myself to a BFN this cycle, I am so unsure of what I am going to do next, if anything at all. I'm so sick of being disappointed....

Joski, GL with your BT on Wednesday.

Juniper, I'm crossing fingers and toes for you with the others

Positively, hang in there hun, not long for you to go when you'll have a perfect little embie on board

3rd time lucky, yay!!!! Great to hear both embies have thawed out nicely. I wouldn't worry so much about how many cells the embies are/should be, I had a 11 cell day 3 embie and I've had an 8 cells day 3 embie. The last one transferred was a lot more than 11 cells, it was a morula so on the way to become a blastie, and that was also a day 3 embie frozen and then thawed out. GL for tomorrow hun, hopefully they will both continue to divide nicely. I think it's such a huge hurdle for the embie to survive the thawing out process, and then to thaw out undamaged. It's a great achievement when you think about it.

Well ladies, it looks like another BFN for me unfortunately. I tested today only to see if I can stop the pessaries, it was negative so I am stopping them tonight. Out of my 3 pregnancies, in the two that I have tested (not counting the first BFP as I didn't test at all) I've had a result a week after the transfer. So it's safe to say I'm out. Utterly devastated, I can just feel the dream of having another child just slipping through my fingers. Such a sad place to be in. Just really angry right now, I'm lashing out at anyone that crosses my path. Sorry for the downer ladies, it's good to get it off my chest.

Re: Long Term TTC & Assisted Conception February/March 2014

Oh miss b =(. I got a bfp on wed thirs n fri, bt fri. Then i ran out of tests so couldnt over the weekend. But even tho my bloodtest levels were higher this time than with spock, i was getting bfp earlier with spock itms. Which is partially why i did thinl it failed, i was comparing it to my others.
    Im still fx for you!
