I have been MIA for a little while as I have struggled to cope with not being able to cycle last month and the heat hasnt helped at all. But as my sig says I am cycling this month so obviously I feel a lot more optimistic.
Because of the busy busy thread I wont do personals tonight as Im not familiar with where everybody is up to.
Just wanting to wish everyone good luck and spread some and in this thread.
Im goin to head off and turn off as its too hot for it to be on I reckon. Im also on my way out to get a tower burger from kfc! yumo, I reckon I deserve a treat every now and then and I have been paying special attention to my health lately. Its too hot to cook anyway ( well thats how Im justifying it to myself )

Hi Girls. Just wanted to reassure everyone that I'm ok and didn't jump off a cliff or anything! DH is feeling much better today too, which is a blessing.

Spring, so sorry again, I hope the break gets you back on track, I know however that I have always found it much harder to take a break than to do another cycle, but I have been at this for a long time. I find it really hard not to think about all the time. Glad to hear you are both feeling better.
JBM, not much from me either, just waiting waiting like you and trying to feel positive for the FET in March, can't wait to join you, praying for a BFP for us both.

AFM, I am feeling super positive and happy and looking forward to my next cycle with my new FS . I have just signed the forms to get my 3 blasties moved up to Brisbane, still waiting to O, hoping for AF on the 20th (unless a miracle natural BFP occurs in the mean time) and going straight into my first natural FET. I hope a new FS and a new protocol will do the trick. Fingers crossed for all of us.
Just wanted to pop in quickly to say I had my EPU yesterday. They retrieved my one egg but unfortunately it was of poor quality. Luckily I got the call yesterday from my FS while I was resting at home instead of at work today. Still trying to come to terms with why this cycle was less successful than the first even though I had more meds this time and have been doing acupuncture and taking chinese herbs as well. Waiting now for AF to arrive so I can start my next cycle.

I am a newie too! I have been reading this site for many months now and was feelilng like I was eavesdropping! So I have finally had the courage to write a post.
I too am on the IVF journey. We have been through 3 stimulated cycles, including one bad case of OHSS. All cycles have been BFN's. Like all you great girls I continue to try and remain positive and keep the dream!!
I am currently undergoing a FET cycle, my first one. We only have two frosties but my FS could not fit in another stimulated cycle so he said to do a FET whilst waiting.
It is great to know that others are going through the same thing, I have not told anyone I am doing IVF, as great as DH is it is hard for him to understand.
Anyway hope it is okay to join you girls, and bring on lots of BFP's!!!
Not good, AF arrived today. So my TWW is over and I am back in here again.
But we are looking foreward. I contacted clinic and asked them to get FS to contact me as would like to try an FET this month if possible. Has anyone else gone from an antagonist cycle straight to an FET without a break???
We have 4 frosties and I am fine physically and sort of emotionally, well as good as I can be . It's never good to not have success but I will learn that, won't I.
Anywya anyone's info on where to go will be great, I just don't see the point waiting and what is involved in just a Frozen Transfer as apposed to the antagonist I have just done.
I am very excited to say I begin my first Clomid cycle on Tuesday after a long (although not as long as some here) road of TTC.
Today at the hospital it looked like I wasn't going to be able to start because of miscommunication between the FS and ourselves but thank heavens it all got sorted out and I now have my supply of tablets and will start on day 5.
Tania: So sorry to hear this, you have been so brave. Sorry, I can't remember what type of cycle you have done, my first one a stimulated one produced only two follicles, the seoncong one an antagonist one had more follicles and at least three eggs, which isn't good but at least much better than the first. Perhaps there is something else your FS could try for you?

Well DH and I are officially not letting TTC control our lives anymore!!! We are about to book an overseas holiday in July and for the first time we are not holding back "in case i am pg". This is a big step for us as we have avoided major holidays the last few years "just in case". I am sooooooo excited!!!!!

just a quick one - you probably read in TWW that my cycle was a BFN.....anyway onwards and upwards and onto the next. Have started jabbing again. Scan on Friday and hopefully transfer again next week.

Not much from me, I am feeling a bit flat, thinking about the devastation and loss of life because of these terrible bush fires. My heart goes out to all involved. Kind of puts things into perspective. We have also just had confirmation from the vet that our gorgeous 4 year old shar-pei (you know the rolly dogs) Bu has agressive cancer and has limited time left. The vet has said prepare for the worst. He is so beautiful and sweet and it is just so sad.
I am just hanging in there, I have been doing OPKs and got my first ever +OPK yesterday morning. So DH and I have been/will be busy DTD. For the first time ever we tried PreSeed. You never know. Now I at least have a good expected AF due date and can think about my next FET.

AFM, its tragic whats happening here in Victoria. My DP and I got caught up in one a small suburban fire as my DP sister's house was under threat. Her and the kids had to evacuate and we rushed to her place to see if we could help. 6 homes were lost in the area but thats nothing in comparison to other areas.
Im waiting to hear from my FS as to what my next cycle will be as I dont want to do another down reg. I should be getting AF either this Saturday or Sunday.

Not sure yet if I know some of you from my previous haunts in here. I was LT TTC up till April 07 when I was lucky enough to become pregnant with my daughter. We are now hoping to add to our family and as it took 10years (and 1month) to conceive her I think of myself as a LT'er still although not technically this time. Anyhow, hope I am welcome and looking forward to knowing you all.
Today I went in for a natural cycle FET of two embryos. I was soooo happy to find out that they only had to thaw those 2 and we still have one more left on ice. Of course I'm hoping we wont need that lil one yet but it's great to know we have back up! I'm surprised how strong my feelings are all over again.

Hello to everyone else. Hope your doing well.
AFM, just called the clinic and my FS has put me on a flare cycle instead of a down reg. Ive done 2 down regs now so didnt want to do another. He has put me on 450 iui of gonal. I was on 225 last time time for 7 days and then 375 iui for another 4 days which only produced 1 egg. So I am I get more this time. I am continuing with my acupuncture and herbs too.
