All I can say is that I am over all of it today!! AF arrived yesterday - never used to get bad AF pain but since taking all the drugs, I'm having shockers!! - why is that? and how do i change my mood thingy now....it's showing as cheerful but I certainly am not!

    Hi everyone,

My it is quite in here, seems like most are over in the TWW.

Tania, that is wonderful news, I hope the new protocol gives you much better results. GL

Sazz, welcome and GL in the TWW, fingers crossed for you

Smithy, hi, I am hanging out for a Feb/Mar FET too, just waiting on AF. GL

AFM, I have TOO much time on my hands, have spent the last few days Googling IVF forums and reading every post and it is doing my head in. I hate this waiting waiting waiting and I just can't let it go. It is so terrible to wish the time away but I can't help myself. And as work is quite, there is nothing to distract me. What am I to do? I just want AF to arrive so my FET can start, so I can have my scans and BTs waiting for O, so I can have my ET, so I can POAS and have my BT so I can get my BFP. It is crazy crazy. I know I shouldn't be obsessing about this, but I can't stop. I might have to give BB a break for a while, at least until I get closer to my first scan. I don't know what else to do. Is this a sympton of the really LTTTC. I have passed my 4 year mark. It has taken over my life. I just want it to be my turn...

    Sorry for the vent.

Hope everyone is well and coping better than me. Hugs to all.

    Thumbs up

    Hi Girls,

Well I am over the moon today, yay.

Just heard from clinic and FS has said I can go straight on to an FET cycle providing everything is ok with my bloods after last months stim cycle. So onwards and upwards.

All I know is at this stage I start having daily bloods on Monday. Anyone that can give me any info on this type of cycle would be appreciated as I have only had 1 stim cycle.

Anyway cograts to all the BFP's and for all of us others this is going to be our month.

Aleenta - Are you doing anything this month hun ???

    Take care everyone xox

Babydreamtime - I totally hear what your saying and my journey has been no where near as long as yours. I stress because of my age even though there are many whom are older than me on the same journey. Its such a hard road with one minute waiting for AF to arrive to commence a cycle and then she doesnt come when we have an embie on board. Its forever a waiting game. I too have felt that its taken over my life and I cant seem to think of anything else, its obsessive but when its something that we have all yearned for all our whole lives, its hard not too. If you need time out from here, then take it. I dont have any other advice other than there are lots of loving and caring people here whom offer lots of support for when you need it. Take care of yourself.

Baby2bee - I too have noticed Ive been experiencing more AF pain since commencing IVF. Hang in there.

    Hi Girls,

Baby Dreamtime hope you can start your FET soon, thinking of you.

Miss Magpie: That sound slike a good idea - hoping this type of cycle gives you a better result

B2B - yes have noticed the same with AF, was wondering if I had forgotten how bad AF can be as I was on the pill in between but don't think I ever had it so bad.

Rob: good luck with FET - onwards and upwards sounds great.

Aleenta: really sorry about the BFN - wishing you good luck with FET.

    Sazz: Welcome

Hi all be trying to keep busy as not cycling at the moment.

B2B - my Af after the last cycle was so bad that I almost had to come home from work because I couldn't stand up or move around and being a teacher that is kind of important.

I just have a small question. I am on a low dose pill for the first time in about 4 years is spoting normal or should I contact my clinic about it? It is not heavy more a smear. I dont know it has been so long since I have been on the pill I cant remember what is was like.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

    Hi

BDT - so sorry about your dog. I totally understand how you feel - don't apologise for venting that's what we are for! I constantly worry about my age and how long this whole thing is taking. I think the hardest thing is not knowing how long the timeline is as everyone's journey is different. I often wish that someone could just tell me how long it would take and then I could manage my expectations. Waiting and hoping each month is the worst part.

Miss magpie - Great news about your new flare cycle, fingers crossed you are endowed with lots of beautiful eggs

B2B - sorry AF is painful - I have found exactly the same thing, the drugs make it horrendous whereas before I didn't really notice it

Hiya Rob - Great to hear your news and so happy you are straight back into FET. Thanks for asking about me, yes I am back on an FET too - so looking forward to hanging out in 2WW again with you

Hey Sara - thanks and hope all is good with you

Hi to Smithy and JBM too - positive words from you girls is always good too

Saph - just read your post - yes I think that sounds pretty normal and what used to happen to me, but as always if in doubt ring your clinic - that is what they are there for

AFM - Scan tomorrow morning - day 9 to check I am on track for FET next week - my last 2 frosties. Not feeling all that confident this month - not sure why, maybe it's just I think I couldn't be that lucky on last frosties....Also I have very busy March coming up with OS work trip and holiday combined so I know I can't possibly have OPU then....anyway constant issue I face - looking too far forward rather than facing one day at a time.
My heart goes out to anyone affected my bushfires here in Vic, such a tragedy and a humble reminder of how precious life is. Love and hugs to all xx

    Good afternoon girls,

    Hope your all travelling well.

Its very hazy in Melbourne city today and smokey out at my place in Ringwood. My thoughts are with all those affected by this terrible disaster.

Aleenta - hope your scan went well today and all is on track for your FET

Saph - I havent experienced any spotting while on the pill in the past. Ive recently done 2 down reg cycles too without any spotting. Maybe you should call the clinic for peace of mind.

    smithy, loops and Sara

AFM - am waiting PATIENTLY for AF to arrive which should be this w/e so I can start my flare cycle.

    Have a good weekend girls.

    Hi gang,
Thanks for welcoming me. I kind of feel like an intruder!!!
Hope everyone in vic is travelling ok with these awful fires.

Aleenta hope your scan went well today. Is yours a natural FET like mine? It is a bit unreal isnt it without all the drama and fanfare of a stim cycle.

MissMagpie, hope AF behaves herself for you this weekend. Not long till you can get going now with lots more lovely eggies. ? what is flare and down reg? Is that the same as stim and nat??

BDT I agree with you wholeheartedly about the waiting and it sending you crackers!!!! I had to have a break a few years back as it was so all consuming. I think I came back to it with a much better frame of mind, knowing that I did still have a life apart from TTC. Vent all you like, we are the ones to understand!!!

B2B I always had AF like you mentioned anyway but yes I think is is far worse after a stim cycle!!! Those drugs have a lot to answer for. Pain + extra yuck. I think that's pretty normal.

Rob, that's great news about going straight to FET! Ask me anything you like. I've had 2 now.

Loops, halfway to march now!!! Does that help any LOL?

AFM I am exactly one week away from testing. I am having my bloods done a day early as it will fall on a weekend and they are sent to adelaide from here which delays by a day already. SO next fri I will be POAS cause buggered if I am waiting for the results the following day. AAArrrgh a whole week away still ....
