Hi Wouldloveabubba - I'm fine - AF has returned to normal - I'm in my 2nd AF cycle right now post m/c. My FS would have started my next IVF cycle this month, but I have a horrible stretch at work (stressful) until the end of Jan, so we've decided to wait a cycle - will start next IVF in Feb. In the meantime, we've been trying on our own without assistance...looks like we still need some medical help as we've had no luck yet - oh, well - at least it's no longer a disappointing surprise - it's just confirmation of our accepted reality.
Hi to everyone else.
Sara:  the results on your 1 remaining blasty are positive for you.
BDT: So sad for you, hopefully you will feel up to trying for your dream shortly.
WLAB: Good luck on Tuesday, hopefully you will get some good eggies.
Miss M: Yay for you that you have your new cycle organised. We will probably be TWW buddies as I anticipate my FET will be on the 27/28 January. I'm also hoping for an early B'day present as my birthday is also on the 18th Feb. How old will you be (if you don't mind me asking)??
So everyone please send lots of wishes to Miss M & me to get the best Birthday present....
im sorry for the bad news dreamtime

Girls,
Thank you very much for your support, couldn't have done it without you - unfortuntately didn't work out this time, the embryo was affected with the bad gene.
Since I really got my hopes up this morning I crashed pretty badly. It just felt so unfair, it's 50/50 and worked out badly for me, my sister, my 1st pregnancy which I had to terminate and now my blastie.
Already feeling a bit better, went for a swim during the thunderstorm was pretty dramatic with really dark clouds, rain but sunshine - it felt kind of cleansing.
So trying to concentrate on the positive things: while my 1st cycle was cancelled, this one worked out alright. I had only three eggs but they seemed to be of good quality and althought DP had originally a bad SCSA result, Menevit, fruit juice and PICSI seems to have done the trick. So will be hoping for 3rd time lucky!
Hope you're all doing well, for now lots of
:bluedust: :pink-babydust: :bluedust:

Sara: Sorry to hear the news about your little blasty. To go through soooo much and to get a "not good" result must be shattering. I suppose the only fortunate thing for you is that you can find out so early of any problem and hopefully process the information instead of having to undergo a termination, like your first pregnancy. Hopefully, when you try again your body will now know the drugs and produce lots more eggies for you and then get your longed for angel in your arms.
Sara i am so sad for you, take some me time and look to the future. I am a firm believer in fate and that it will happen when the time is right for everyone.
Hi Everyone,
I mentioned on another thread that we have been TTC for 5 months now - not long but we decided to have some tests- Hubby has ogliospermia with poor quality sperm and poor motility and liquefaction. I also have two fibroids in my uterus.
I have my first FS appointment tomorrow morning with Dr Richardson at Pivet (in Perth)
I am excited and can't wait, although this all seems very daunting. I have done quite a bit of reading and am a little worried about the injections and nasal spray. I hope you don't mind me post in on here, I haven't been TTC for that long, but we still have to see a FS.

Sara
Hi sara - I'm sorry to hear your news! But a good thing is that you look at the positive side of it all, which is very admirable! Look after yourself. March is the Month!
AFM - last couple of days very sore bb's, not so much today and have had sharp pains down below, sim to O pain or pain just before AF. - but not so much today. Could be the progesterone pessaries making me feel like this!
Bulliej - Glad to hear your well, and have a plan after your stressful month at work, I went to the clinic yesterday, and looked across in the waiting room at the other ladies, and thought, I wonder if you guys are on BB, I could be sitting next to you one day and we wouldnt even know ... funny huh
Toby - we are buddies in regards to sore bb's - I can hardly put a bra on mine are so sore
Krikkit - good luck for todays fs appt
Kelly and Mrs M - hope you get your birthday pressie's -
Sara  for you
Hi to everyone
AFM - had accu yesterday, ouch ! when she put the needle in near my left ovary (i think, well in that region) I literally nearly jumped off the bed, do you girls get the dull ache, and where on your body have you had the needles put for ttc, I had them in my ancle's for kidneys, forehead and top of head for relax? hand for my heart ? and lower tummy to create more blood flow to my uterus - does that sound right to you guys -
Hmmm I wonder if I should search for a acc thread
Have a lovely day everyone
wouldloveabubba - I've wondered the same thing when i'm sitting in one of the waiting rooms during the whole ivf cycle.
I've had different reactions to the accup needles in terms of pain - never horrible pain, but sometimes one will hurt despite the fact that it's never hurt when she's put it there before. She does different spots depending on my cycle and how my tongue looks...and how my pulse feels, but the spots you mention are all ones that she does more often than not. I don't know much about the details, but I have read that once you are in the "I may be pregnant" phase, there should be no more needles in your belly. so long as your accup knows about accup & fertility etc. you should be fine
hi to everyone...
Hi girls
Sorry, a bit of a me post.
Had my day 9 scan today and only one good follie. Waiting for them to call me with me blood result. My cycle was cancelled last time b/c there was only 2 follies and I ovulated early. They doubled my dose of puregon this time and i feel like they are going to cancel again. I just feel rotten and feel like my body is failing me.
Hi to everyone, sorry to be a downer
sorry double post
Good afternoon girls,
wouldlovebubba - Your results sound great! Good luck on Tues :D I found my 2nd acu seesion hurt more than the first and I got a "tingling" sensation afterwards like pins and needles. Hopefully it means its working!
Sara - sorry to hear your news. Glad the swim was helpful. Stay positive.
Kristy - Welcome :D It all seems daunting at first but Ive found this site and the wonderful girls here VERY supportive as they are going through the same things. Its also been a great place to vent which is helpful during such a stressful time. Hope your appointment today went well.
Toby - Hope your feeling ok
21 - Glad you popped in to say HI! Stay well and keep us updated.
Neptune - No need to be sorry. Its a trying time with so much hope riding on every cycle. Hopefully they wont cancel it. Stay positive and strong.
KellyD - WOW, we have the same birthday!!!!! I'll be 37 this year. I'll know more next week after I have my scan. My FS has upped my Gonal dose this time round which will hopefully produce some more eggs. Got 5 last time, only 1 made it. I have one ovary.
Take care all.
Tania
Thanks Tania, its very daunting....and there is so much information to absorb.
Anyways.. on to the news of the day. I had my bloods and ultrasound and will have a hy(-something or rather) in a few weeks... to check my uterus and tubes are unblocked under twilight sedation.
At the ultrasound today some interesting things, I have 2 fibriods which I knew I had about 1.5cm and 2cm, he then found another two, one is 9cm and the other is about 1.5cm and sitting right around my cervix. So Laproscopy for me is inevitable.
1st day of my period I have to call them then go in to have a blood test the next day, then that arvo they call me to tell me what to do next - I dont understand this part, can anyone help?
I am still a bit lost after this point, I know I will have the hy-sometinng or rather.. then have to come back every second day after I ovulate for blood test (I think) ... I dont know when the laproscopy will be. The radiologist wasnt happy with my cycle as it averages 24 days - and he said sometimes it doesnt let the egg develop enough too plant it self - but all in all he was lovely and very upfront and honest bout what I was looking at on the screen and the chances of what I will need to have done.
Hubby may have a varicose vein on his scrotum which maybe affecting his chances of healthy sperm, so he has an ultrasound and sperm check on Thursday.
Its all a bit of a fuzzy mess.. but I am getting there. I guess by the 3rd appointment I will feel a bit better and a bit more knowlegeable. We have a councelling session on the 31st too.
Thanks again, its a great place to chat and vent about the dramas...
Hi everyone, I was lost but just for a minute.
Got caught up with so much over christmas and new year and we are in the middle of January and I forgot the thread changes at the end of the month, phew but I found it ha ha.
Well I started injections Tuesday, as got my AF Monday. Am on puregon, if anyone has heard of it. First 2 days were good but yesterday and more so today I felt quite tired and a little nausiated but a small price to pay to get the ultimate outcome. So I am off for a blood test tomorrow and a scan on Tuesday.
Very hard to get your hopes up when you don't feel so great but I do have a glimpse of hope still there somewhere, it just gets harder to find some days.
Anyway lots of :pink-babydust::bluedust: to everyone needs it and lets keep our fingers crossed :crossfingers: while I try to make lots of eggs.
