I had my FS Appt yesterday in Syd.... it went fantastic and i truely feel we are finally on the right road now :)... DP and i are just so very happy.... i have to have a Hysteroscopy done and also another LAP (actually i dont have to have the LAP done he just suggested it as i'd be asleep anyway and i truely trust him so i said whatever u think lol).. if my tubes are truely blocked (which he seems to think that maybe they arent) he is going to try and unblock them :) YAY And if not we'll move straight to IVF
So we are very happy campers atm... not sure when ill have this done tho as we are going public.... but we dont really mind.... anyway i best be off.....

Did a big post last night and computer crashed so never got sent. Sorry will be brief tonight but just can't remember everything from then!
Kelly - so glad AF finally decided to show her face.At least you can now look towards at least the opportunity to get pg. Always makes me feel better!
JBM - good on you for pampering yourself and for the great weight loss. Marhc has got to be it for you!
Nikki - glad FS went well. you sound very upbeat and positive about it all which is a fabulous start.
AFM - well AF never went beyond a few hrs of VERY light spotting. Saw my nurse on Wed and had BTs which showed all my levels "flat" as expected post AF. So they were fine to let me start cycle. I am still concerned as to why no lining to shed. I have slways bled at least a bit on Provera but nurse didn't even feel the need to consult my Dr so guess I have to trust her and get stuck into the jabbing again! All feels a bit repetitive really. Was signing some forms last night and noticed that this is our 9th cycle with Monas IVF.... eek... never thought we'd be needing this much help!
-
Well, after my disappointment yesterday with only one good follie, the nurses phoned me yesterday afternoon to tell me my E2 was only 379!!!!! That's really crap, so basically not sure what is happening. They don't want to see me until Wednesday for another scan and BT, and I am just to keep continuing on the double dose of puregon. I feel very upset, two cycles in a row like this.
Has this happened to anyone else and did they give you a reason? Just feel like I am never going to get my dream.
-
Neptune, can I ask were you doing a down reg cycle on lucrin/syneral? My body always switches off when using them and then I can't get my E2 levels up. I have found a flare/boost/short cycle works better for me, or perhaps an antagonist (I haven't done one) which use less or no lucrin/syneral. I am sorry hun, it is very dissapointing when that happens. I hope the upped dosage does the trick.
Meredith, sometimes no AF or little AF isn't a worry after down regulating.
-
Neptune: Similar to Dusty - I had only two follies when I did a downreulated cycle with the pill, one week lucrin and then puregon, doubling the puregon dose didn't make difference. This time i did an antagonist cylce p a few days Puregon, then starting Orgaluton as well and for the last few days, puregon, orgalutron and Pregnyl - whiel i only had three eggs I had eight follicles.
Toby: Good luck, thinking of you.
A good weekend to everyone

Hi Dusty
My first cycle was the long down reg and I did really well apart form it not working...one frozen embie still waiting.
2nd cycle was an antagonist in which I hardly had any response, and this is a flare cycle on double the dose I have used before and very little response.
Feel very flat and depressed and kind of stupid for trying. Will just have to keep on trucking and see what happens on Wednesday.
Thanks for your help.

Morning Ladies:
Neptune : Sorry I cant offer any advice to you, I do hope the double dose will increase your follical numbers, I hope on Wed, your FS can give you some clear answers.
Merideth: 9th cycle, in the year of 2009 - hoping this will be the one for you, my af was practically non existant this month, I would expect it it all the meds
JBM: Just what the doctor ordered - relaxing before your fet - have a lovely time camping
Krikkit: I have read, and started taking B6, which is said to lengthen your luetal phase, perhaps thay may help with your cycle's
Miss M : good luck for your scan next week
BullieJ - Hopefully one day our fs appts will co-inside, and we can say hello, thanks for your response re the accu, hope you get a chance to have some while your going through a stressfull month at work
Hi to Rob and Nikki
AFM : clinic called yesterday, and epu is def tues, :D I weighed myself on the scales at a g/f's last night, and I have gained 7 kilo's  since my first cycle in Nov/Dec, surely its the fluid I have onboard, I cant even bend over its so bloated and tight.
-
JBM - hi no she defenantly said inverted cervix. I checked it out on the internet and because mine is facing backwards it is often the result of a difficult birth. Which with a nine pound+ baby who got stuck I can understand.
WLB - hopefully it is all fluid but in six months of doing treatment last year I put on 10kg, It was my reaction to the drugs. Mind you it is my reaction to everything.
AFM - still plodding through the TWW. My ovaries are so sore that I can hardly walk. Reacting badly to the pregnyl this time. Red swollen spot, itchy, hot and OMG are my bb so sore and Campbell has deceided that to get my attention he needs to poke my there, I am not impressed. Not really getting to excited as I know it is only the drugs. But all in all very exciting time for us at the moment. Campbells cubby went in yesterday that my dad got for him (As a way to remember him as he passed away in sept) and he loves it. The pool is going in on tuesday and our decking is being done this week. Busy Busy. Plus I am very excited discussed with DH about going on a scrapbooking camp in may and have decided to go. I have never been away from Campbell over night let alone for a weekend. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and good luck to you all where ever you are in your cycles.

Hi Ladies - sorry just popped in for some advise no time for personals.
I am currently waiting on AF so that i can start a FET. Its been about 40 days since my last AF but thats not unusual for me. I was thinking about starting Provera to speed things up but then last night i got a very small amount of brown old blood in my knickers - sorry if TMI. So i kind of thought i would wake up this morning with AF in full flow but there was nothing. Then just now when i have gone to the toilet there is another small amount of brown old blood - again not much just enough to ruin the knickers)............Is this AF????? What the hell is gping on?????? Meredith, is this what you had???
-
Mollygirl, have you had your hormone levels taken lately? They can normally tell you when to exp?ct AF bas?d on your progesterone levels. Very frustrating for you I am sure! Sounds like you are doing a natural FET (ie not on the pill in the lead up)?
Neptune, sorry to hear that you have done all those cycles hun. Did they measure your FSH before you started the stims this time? Sometimes that can indicate how successful a cycle may or may not be. The higher the number the less likely recruits for that month to stimulate. It could be you are having an off month :wall:. WIsh I could give you some other advice, but it sounds like a watch and wait for now. I had a similar thing happen on my very last own cycle. 450iu Puregon for 17 days (after pill down reg) and squeezed out one egg which did fertilise. I figured where there is one folicle there could be one egg which could be one embryo which could be the one for you. Some other advice I have been given in the past is sometimes the levels of stim are too high which can derail the cycle - kinda fry the eggs. I think it was Chez67 (not sure) whose FS played with her levels during the cycle to get better quality rather than quantity. It may be something to explore after this cycle if you need to.
WLB, keep up your water hun, you may be overstimulating a bit and water reduces the risk of any complications. What are your E2 levels?
-
:oomg its busy in here and i couldnt keep up if i tried so just wanting to wish you all good luk with everything hope your all haveing a nice weekend.
WLB-ANGE...... go get them eggs hun you can do it and who cares about 7kgs lol good luk with the eggys:egg::egg:
-
Smithy: you always bring a smile to my face ..
Dusty : thank you for the advice re the water, I just went and filled up a bottle. My fs hasn't ordered any E2 tests - not sure if that is good or bad ?? I notice that Sydney seems to do a lot more bt than Melb clinics. I am off to google E2

Hi All,
I'm really peeved at the moment. Because I spent so much time writing personals and the website was updating, somewhere in between I got logged out, which means when I went to send my post it wouldn't accept it. Aaargh! Now it's 1.30am and I don't have the strength to do it all again! Sorry gals! It's been so long since I've done personals and I went thw whole 9 yards! Please accept my apologies for not resending them and I promise I will next time. But what I will say is that I am thinking of those of you who are struggling at the moment. Your hardships are touching and I hope you find the strength to go on.
What is nice is that there are some of you who are going really well. It's just as nice to hear about your triumphs and cheery stories to brighten up our days.
So...:stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy::hug: to all!
AFM (here we go again!): I just took my trigger for my next FET transfer. However I am worried I took the trigger too early. I took a take home urine test today to see where my ovulation was at just this morning. The test show a stronger reference line thatn the surge line. But I read it incorrectly and thought you beauty, I'm ready to go already? It was only after I took the trigger that I realise I read the test wrong. Even though the surge line was quite dark, it wasn't as dark as the reference line. Do you think it will make much difference?
-
...Me again.
I juste reread the post above and realised it hardly even makes sense! I should really stop posting after midnight! (Oh wait, my original post that didn't get through was 11.30pm, so my extra late night babbling wasn't totally my fault!)
Nighty Night! :asleep:

hi ya girls
how are we all......

:hello: everyone
I just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone and to wish you all good luck with your cycles- where ever you are up to
Gosh its so busy in here I will wait to do personals until I have properly caught up with what everyone is doing
Sending :bluedust: and :stickyvibesgirl: to you all
Bring on the :bfp:s !!!
AFM- Im still waiting on AF due early Feb so we can commence a flare cycle, I have ordered my In Liven off the net ( thankyou to Neptune for the tip about the thread, it had some great info in it and all very positive) so expecting its arrival around Tues then off to acupuncture on Wed. Im hoping the effort Im putting into trying to live as healthy as I can pays off and I can start to cycle next month. Only a couple more weeks to go.
Ill be back on later to do personals
-
Neptune - so sorry your cycle is not going so well. I don't have much more to add but praying the extra time on high dose of FSH does the trick. Otherwise I think you need to grill your FS. This is just to agonising to go through over and over again
Dusty - thanks for your relpy but no down reg for me. I don't get natural AF so provera was purely to bring one on which it has done in the past.Who knows what our bodies do!
WLAB - only 2 more sleeps until EPU. Hope it all goes well for you
Molly - I am with Dusty - go get a BT. I wasn't sure if my very minimal spotting was AF either but did at least have more clue given I had used Provera and had ALL the cramping etc to go with it. BT will confirm you prog levels.
Spring - Sorry can't help you on the ovulation tests. I've never used them as I don't ovulate on my own but I did think the line has to be equal if not darker than control. I would call your clinic and check with them
MrsM - yay - bring on a May cycle!
AFM - just done 4th dose of FSH and really been feeling it early this time. My ovaries are aching!
First scan and BT tomorrow at 7.45am so interested to see where we are at.
