Hi All,
I have been resting all day (so has hubby, he has needed it). Im milking it for all its worth! Have him on kitchen & laundry duties. Look out Rols!! DH has been exceptional but Im aware of how far I can push him with the house duties. Last night he came home from the office (cos he had to call in) with chocky, chips, softdrink, dvd's & KFC. Not fussed on the softdrink & KFC but I have given myself one night to splurge before back to the healthy eating ready for implant.
Scientists called late this afternoon (was getting worried). 8 fertilized, 3 didnt take & 1 not mature enough. 8!!! I ended up with 8 last time. 8 is in all our birthdays so it must be lucky. They will call me on a daily basis as they are growing all to blastie & not all may make it which is sad. I told Superman that if 8 happen, Im having all the 8. Around one for every year I have waited. He couldnt help but have the biggest laugh but I was serious.
The Specialist would not confirm Wednesday for transfer which thru me for a six. I now do not have an appointment. They want to wait & "see what happens". I guess, they are being realistic but I want to live in fairy land for a while, its nice.
Fi - All the very best. Dont be scared, its so worth it. Some handle it better than others. All the best.
All - What has everyone been doing? Is there any news out there! Thinking of you all.
Tracey
Well done tracey on your 8 fertilised eggs! :) Get DH as much as you can while you can! ;)
I just wanted to pop in quickly to say that DH came home from hospital this morning. He is still very sore from the surgery (as you would be with an approx 40cm cut down your belly). He is happier that the pain is now just the wound and not all the other internal pain he was having. Now he just has to heal. Unfortunately though he has come out in this huge rash again. Every time he goes to hospital he gets a rash. We have now put it down to the linen and gowns. So, he's itching like mad (as if he didn't already have enough going on!!).
Other good news, we are going to continue with this cycle now and I start synarel on Monday. Chilling out for the rest of this weekend....it's so good not to be sitting in the hospital for hours on end! :D
Tracey - that is fantastic news! I am soooo happy for you! I am thinking lots of positive thoughts for you that you get a good number through to blastie stage for transfer! Keep your chin up hun - you are almost there!!!
Fi - good luck with your EPU on Monday. You have done all the hard work, now it is your time to relax. I had my first EPU last week and was nervous just as you are, but all went fine and luckily didn't have any bad reactions. Just a bit of bloating and some minor pain that panadol sorted out pretty quickly. I hope all goes well for you.
Megan - that is great news about your hubby and that you are continuing with your cycle. My thoughts are with you both.
Hippymum - I completely understand your reaction to your "friend" - that is not how friends treat each other - you are better off without that negative energy in your life. Good decision. Remember - it is not the quantity of friends but the quality that counts!
Well, nothing much going on with me. My AF symptoms have all disappeared except that today I am all grumpy and emotional so maybe that is a good sign?
Anyway, DF has made dinner so I had better go. Take care all and chat again soon.
