    Hi girls,

Thanks again for all your support. Things are looking better after every scan and today I had 7 follicles measured (up from 3 on Friday). They are 24, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12 and 7mm. So the 24mm will be a goner and unless the 7mm has some tricks up its sleeve, it's not going to feature either. The nurse called just now to say we're getting really close now and they will call me tomorrow afternoon with instructions for my trigger Wed pm. So EPU is definitely Friday now and i'm just glad to have gotten this far.

At home today with disgusting conjunctivitis, a rash around my neck and sneezing and sniffles . All caught from a child who came to school last week for 2 consecutive days with the same. I asked for her to be sent home twice and when the school rang her mother to ask her to come and collect her, the mother cried that she couldn't, principal felt sorry for mother and returned child to my classroom So as a result, my health and the health of the other children in my class was compromised. So cranky because principal knows that I am doing IVF. If you're sick, stay home!!! ANd one last vent - it has meant that I had to cancel seeing a GF and her 2 kids tonight who live in Japan and are back ATM.Now I don't have another opportunity to see them before they go back. Grrrrrrrr........

Bubbless - 5 sounds like a good result. I am glad that you're not in pain really and hope that my experience is similar as we had the same amount of follies. Have your clinic called to let you know how they're getting on?

Emerald Star - thanks for sharing your experiences re EPU and you were right - trigger is Wed. Hope nothing has changed for you in terms of AF. Only 1 more sleep for you

Jasminstar - I hope the 4am start was OK and really have my that you somehow manage to avoid the OHSS. You must relieved to be getting those eggs out and I really hope the pain is not unbearable for you. Take care of yourself - thinking of you.

Miss K - Welcome back! 30kg+ of fluid!!! That's unbelievable and I really wish you all the best this time around. Good luck with your scan on Fri and look forward to seeing you around here a bit more.

mitf - It's official! We are on the same schedule. Glad you're looking into acu - I think it's really beneficial and as you say, we're already broke, human pincushions. What's a few more $$$ and needles among friends? Hope you're well and good luck with trigger. Mine will be Wed PM.

Loops12 - I really hope the pain is implantation related. I hope your summit in Bendigo manages to give you a few distractions. We're all thinking of you and hoping for your BFP.

Juniper76, Seph, Tantee, Daisie - hi to all and any others I have missed and hope you're well.

Emerald Star - I'm hanging out to hear your results tomorrow. I really hope it's a BFP which would be the best birthday present ever!! Good luck.

Bubbless - I think you asked if I was doing IUI (sorry I haven't been on BB for a couple of days). But no, I'm doing IVF (FET). I'm also doing acupuncture, so I'm hoping it's helping me too. Good to hear your EPU went well. Fingers crossed for good fertilisation and cell division.

AFM - Turns out I ovulated on Sunday (CD15) which was about 3-4 days earlier than I expected. Based on U/S from Thurs last week with a 12mm follie, if I ovulated on Sunday then it would've been around 18mm (which is not too unusual I guess). I had a BT and U/S again on Monday, and BT confirmed I'd ovulated. So did U/S as she couldn't find the follie but found fluid instead, so said it looked like I had ovulated. The best news though was that my lining was 8mm!!! I was stoked, because I had worked myself up and fully expected that my cycle was going to be cancelled because of my lining being too thin. I know that other girls can have heaps thicker lining (like 10-12mm), but for me, 8mm is pretty good and that's all they're looking for, so here's hoping it's good enough. And I'm hoping that on the Progynova, my lining will continue to thicken up to ET.

Speaking of ET, I'm booked in this Friday morning for a day 5 blastie FET, and we'll be transferring 2 little embies (well assuming that they can get 2 thawed properly). We have 5 frozen and my clinic have said they have a pretty good thaw rate, so fingers crossed that continues.

Jasminstar - Wow, that's fantastic news about all those follies. Fingers crossed that you escape OHSS and can go ahead with ET this cycle. I feel your pain about all the waiting. It's so frustrating. My DH has low sperm count and motility is not the best, so we went straight to ICSI. Wanted to give ourselves the best chance from the start.

mitf - good luck for ET this Friday. Hope it all goes well for you. And fingers crossed for a successful ET next week.

loops - how are you hanging in there hun? The TWW is the worst, I hate it. Hope AF stays away and you get that BFP. Technically I'm in the TWW at the moment, but not doing ET til Friday.

Taurean - great news about your follies. I"ll be thinking of you for your EPU on Friday. Good luck.

Sorry for no more personals. Hope I managed to cover everyone, but sorry if I've missed anyone.

    Wishes xoxo

AFM-Well, since I did not hear from my Gynae.for two weeks regarding my appointment I rang her secretary yesterday only to find out that they had not received any referal for me from the FS("lost in the post "can you believe this?).So i spent the whole of yesterday on the phone trying to sort this and made sure a fresh referral letter reached the Gynaec. Now i need to wait for them to give an appointment.

    Hi Ladies,

Wishes, I asked about my lining on Monday and they said it was same as last U/S (8mm) so they have been watching it just never mentioned it as they said 8 is good. So looks like you've got a good result there - hopefully now the little one will stick for you. How long for you before ET?

Emerald Star, Happy Birthday I hope it brings you really happy results!!! Let us know how you get on. FX big time.

Vira, What a pain in the butt. Hopefully they will speed you along for your appointment after stuffing you around.

Taurean78, Good luck with trigger today and hope you feel better for Friday. Can't believe people send there kids to school when they are that sick!

Juniper76, We were hoping to do rescue ICSI too but the FS rang yesterday to say the clinic had contacted her and needed to know the day before - sounds like that's BS though now after your story. Anyway we said we'll do it rather than say no and find out after that we should have.

Loops12, Hope Bendigo is keeping you distracted.

Mitf, Hope your trigger is ok and not at an insane hour like mine. It looks like I'll be doing the 5 day blasties too. FS wants to talk to me about it today. She said she only recommends it if there are a lot of fertilised embies so we will have to wait till Thursday to confirm. FX for your 12

Miss K, GL with the scan on Friday. Hope the ovaries wake up and without the OHSS.

Bubbless, Glad your EPU was a success. When's ET for you?

Williamsemma, Like the rest I am baffled that you have not had a confirmation BT. I think I'd be off to the GP for confirmation before the scan. Great result but i think I'd like the added confidence of BT. Hope all's going well.

AFM, EPU is in less than 3 hours and I hardly slept. Excited, nervous and hopeful with far too many scenarios running around in my head. DH went in ahead as they wanted him in as 12pm (which was originally so that they could assess for ICSI but then they told FS we had to decide yesterday) so I didn't go with him as I have been fasting since 6:45am and did not want to hang around for 3 hours thinking of food in Bondi Junction. Well FX we can go ahead with Blastys next week and I manage to keep the OHSS at bay.

Sorry to anyone I have missed and GL to all.

Emerald Star, FX you get the perfect birthday present! Happy Birthday!

jasminstar, sounds like a sound decision. It's too much to go through to then take any unnecessary risks. Another consideration for next time is you could ask them if they'd try half and half? I've heard of that being done too, but not sure if any Aussie clinics do it?

    AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, what a wonderful, wonderful Birthday Present!!! I am so excited for you.

Don't stress as I have seen plenty of cases where numbers were on the lower side early on and resulted in very healthy strong pregnancies.

I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your evening.

Happy birthday emerald and Congratulations on your BFP, I am so happy for you. No doubt this is your best birthday ever.

I had my embryo t/f today, 1 grade 2 4 cell and another to freeze. So we lost 3 which is to be expected, FS prepared us we'd lose approx half. I haven't been feeling too hopeful as last night had some spotting and feel so premenstrual. FS assures me the spotting is purely from vaginal wall after retrieval and that pms from drop in hormones. Funny that as soon as the t/f was over I felt much better. Raced home and gave myself crinone straight away!

Hope you all are well, too hard to write much as on mobile but wishing you all the best and hope we can all follow inEmerald Stars footsteps

Emerald Star - congratultions hun and of course happy birthday. What a wonderful present, you must be so thrilled.

Just a quick one from me - was so tired the last week I just didn't get on line! Had EPU yesterday and got 11 eggs, which was great as last time we got 5. Embryologist warned me that he thought a few were immature, but lo and behold TEN fertilised! Yay! So fingers and toes are crossed that at least half will make it to blastie stage.

Am doing ok but in a bit of pain, more than last time. Ok am going to lie back down on the couch now! GL to all in the 2ww, hope to join you soon
