    Hi all,
I have attended for the embryo transfer today and one lovely perfect blastocyst is hopefully now getting ready to implant itself.
I am due for a blood test on 7th August and I honestly don't know how I will get through the next couple of weeks!!!
I truly feel that this is it and I will get a positive result in two weeks. Hope I am not setting myself up for heartache.
Best of luck to everyone xxx

myturn, that's quite a bloat! FX it settles down soon. Or maybe not, since a BFP will prolong it...

vic, how are you doing? (I know, silly question, but intended more as an opening if you want to talk through some of it.)

    Larry, FX for your 2ww!

Afm, I'm so over these cramps. Been going on since Saturday. In spite of originally being due Saturday week (4 August), I'm expecting AF some time between now and Monday. Not sure when though. This has been one wacky cycle. I hate wacky cycles. After 5 years of charting (started August 2007), I can't help but think I should know what the heck my body is doing by now. Looks like the lap will be next cycle now too, so we may not be able to TTC for a second month.

And to throw a little more "woe is me" on top of that, I worked up the courage to ask for my AMH results yesterday. "Very low" was the term used. I knew I probably had DOR, but it was still a little upsetting to have it confirmed. I feel like we're running out of time and I'm so scared that the last good egg has already been and gone...

I also suspect our FS will push going back to IVF ASAP. I'm still burnt-out from the cycles we did TTC#1 and DH will very likely be unemployed by October, so IVF doesn't feel like a realistic option at this time.

Thanks for letting me vent a little. It's someone else's turn now.

Juniper, I am sorry you are feeling down. Did they give you a number for your AMH? I think these things are relative.

There's also supplements you can take which help with DOR or egg quality, including coQ10, DHEA, melatonin.... I have read quite a few stories (on the world wide interweb) of women waiting to do another round of IVF who fall naturally on these supplements.

Maybe it is worth giving them a try You will need to get them prescribed though. It has to be compound strength, not the weaker herbal grade.

Goodness knows I am pinning my hopes on them!! I know Planet Sasha has been taking them too.

    Thanks ladies.

N2L, the number was 1.5. The "very low" comment was from the lab with regard to my ovarian reserve. I've been taking 150mg of CoQ10, but I know a lot of the ladies online talk about taking 600mg. Interestingly, my acupuncturist suggested I ask my GP for melatonin for my insomnia. I did read something about it not being good for endo though (can't remember the details). I'll see what the FS has to say at my post-op appt (probably mid-August) and will discuss it with my acupuncturist too.

Hi Vic, so sorry to see you back in here. Sending you big hugs and healing vibes...

Juniper- thinking of you. Sending you big hugs.

Myturn - wow you must be so uncomfortable, you poor thing. Have you been drinking extra protein supplements? Or drinking lots of milk and yoghurt etc? That's what they told me to do during my IVF cycle..

AFM Just checking the list for today, but noticed that I'm a day behind, I'm officially day 7 today (Wednesday)... Finally no longer spotting. Had acupuncture today and it was nice to be able to just lay down and relax, first time for me this week. Have been working 6 days straight, so this was my 1 day weekend. Also so busy with organising our wedding, which I was so silly to plan in December, even though we only just got engaged in June Oh well. Getting there, finally found a venue and also a place for our reception Sorry a bit off topic Nothing else much to report. Just having a natural cycle.
