I had my phone appointment with my FS. He is happy for me to go ahead and use our last two frosties, but when I mentioned going straight into another stim, he said was I really wanting to consider going ahead with another cycle since I have had so many failed one. Is 5 too many, considering the last one stuck for a bit? I am so confused.

I have looked into donor eggs and my sister (32)will gladly donate, but its soooo expensive and soooo long to get it done. 6 months minimum. I will be 43 if it works and be 50 with a 7 year old

I am exhausted by TTC. Exhausted by life at the moment

My DH says we should just keep going until Jan 1st, so if the FS lets us, thats what we will probably do.

Hi to everyone, sorry about the all about me post

vic - i really hope 5 is not too many considering i am looking down the barrel of my 10th transfer....eeeek
seriously though, i honestly dont think 5 is too many considering the odds are around 20-25% per go. i remember you saying in previous posts you get good quality embryos too, so you would think that the FS would be more hopeful? i agree with your dh (sounds like a sensible dh!), just keep going until you are ready to stop. ttc is exhausting, especially given what you have been through recently. it will get better though. maybe not this week, or next, but eventually. promise. xx

Im shocked Vic that your FS is ready to give up already, I had read somewhere that on average IVF takes 5 cycles and the fact that you got one to stick should be promising. If I were you I would go again for sure

I totally second Andie, Vic. Don't give up until you're ready to, otherwise you will regret it.

Is there another FS you can get a second opinion from??

In the meantime, maybe look at some lifestyle factors that might help. Things like supplements, acupuncture, diet, etc, etc. I think I only have one stim left in me, and I am throwing absolutely everything at it.

:hugs: It is such a hard road

AFM - Got my NK cell biopsy results. They are 16%... The highest they are meant to be is 6%. The FS said we will adjust the protocol accordingly (meaning colorado protocol).

Perhaps it was the shellacking that made the difference

    Probably!
It can only be removed with pure acetone, which probably isn't safe in pregnancy
