Jasmine, sorry about your BFN but I like your plan for the next FET!!! Sounds like a good plan and you sound so much calmer and in control, good on you hun. So when will you hopefully have your transfer?

Glorious, GL with your trigger on Monday, and congrats on the 10 or so follies!! Poo to the trigger time, mine was at 11.30 at night and that was late for me! lol

Bunnyfeet, one day at a time hun Concentrate on the lovely two embies in there for now

Rai, great numbers hun, keep it up!!

Juniper, is that your sister's first pg (congrats to her BTW). How are you feeling about it all?

    Hi to everyone else!

AFM, I bought one of those ovulation kits, $25 for 7, you pee in a cup and test on stick. I wanted to do a trial run this month so I know when to start testing for my FET. I had a slightly lighter line compared to the test line at 11DPO, and today being 12DPO I have a darker line than the control line so I assume I'm about to O. So I will start testing on day 10 I think, cos it looks like I will have a shorter cycle again, right? I'm normally 29 days, but judging on this OPK I might have a 26/27 day cycle, is that right? Anyway, didn't want to splurge on the digi ones, I will buy them next month. At least I'll get that happy face and there is no second guessing the pee stick.

Juniper, pls delete me from the list and I am having a break cycle, thank you.

Bunny & Catyo. thanks for both of you. I had bicarbonate soda two times today, it absorb the acid quite good and I had a little bit "Apple cider vinegar in water today too, it is sour and I think I need to put more water in. I am going to look again in healthy food section in supermarket for the liquorice tea tomorrow.

Glorious, it is a good number and good size.

Jasmine, it is very good that you feel more confident now for the cycle.

Miss.B, if you decide to use OPK long-term (ie, not just the FET cycle), it's much cheaper to buy them online. I get 100 dip sticks for about $30. I also got my latest box of digital ones online (box of 20 from the UK for a few $ less than the box of 7 costs in stores here).

Bestrong, delete or change to "taking a break"? Happy to do whichever you prefer.

    Can I play too....?

Hi I'm on cycle number two, CD 11. It just took me about 5 hours to work out what CD stood for...clearly new to forums. Just wondering If I could join in too please? Still trying to get my head around IVF and all the drugs, would love some support and advice from people in the know?

Hi and welcome, Kate! You can find a list of abbreviations here: https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...ns-acronyms-9/. If you encounter any missing from the list, feel free to ask! And, of course, feel free to ask any other questions too. We all started at the beginning once upon a time and learned the same way...

    Big warm hugs!!!!

Thanks so much! I'm 29 same as perfect husband... I have had multiple abdo surgeries which caused my flop tubes to be fluidy and my ovaries to stick to my abdo wall. First IVF the FS said nothing wrong with sperm and eggs so went in feeling confident and expecting 15 woke up post EC and saw the number 4 written on my arm. 4 eggs oh well I only needed one, so wiped the tears away and 24 hours later found out they are all immature and none fertilized! So little shocked and then I joined here and see everyone's signature lines and think omg this is actually a marathon and not a sprint! You women are amazing that you can continue to go back and try! I don't think anyone can understand that strength except for the women on here! You are all amazing!
Oh ps my day 21 appointment is on 23rd, and thanks again for the warm welcome!

Girls I have a question. My friend is having lap and tx for endo. How soon after can she start ivf? Her acupuncturist advised to wait a month or two to allow inflammation to go down

Kate, wow! That's a huge disappointment right out of the gate with your first IVF! Not all cycles are as difficult as that (even if they're BFN), and those ones that sneak up and blind-side you with disappointment always take some time to recover from. We had nothing to transfer for just one of our IVF cycles and I found that a lot harder to "get over" than all the other BFNs because we never even had a chance. I hope your second cycle is far more successful.

Bunnyfeet, I had to wait about 5-ish weeks to start synarel (7dpo of the cycle following the lap cycle) and then started gonal-f after AF showed up. My lap was 10 March and EPU was 12 May, so 2 months apart. My lap was done at O time and I had to wait out the cycle after the lap cycle to give my body time to recover (but was allowed to start the synarel in that cycle).

Bunny- we waited three months. Well that was the plan until a polyp showed up so it was in fact 4 months.

Welcome Kate, I know doing more cycles are not easy, you really need the other people's advice and encouragement. People are very nice and helpful here.

Juniper, thanks for changing me to the break cycle, that is good. Sorry to confuse you.

My AF came yesterday and I had a big headache, today I am getting better.
