afm: I have really hurt my back it hurts to walk and I have a chest infection so not happy I had to go buy a heat pack and took 2 panadine last night
which I absolutely hate to do so have taken nothing else I hate taking stuff when pg. Waiting for my blood test tomorrow just praying for good
results then I may relax a bit and not worry so much.

AFM, Day 2 into my clomid tablets and they are annoying me already.. I always seem to get really bad hot flushes. I was so excited when I moved on to injectables and seriously never thought I would have to touch the stuff again!! On a good note looks like the witch is close to packing her bags... Fingers crossed it's a really like time till she visits again

Jas my BT is next Saturday. Have been getting really strong AF pain all day hope she's not on the way :banghead: I've never taken Clomid but used to get those hot flashes from Syneral spray not nice! Hope it's your last AF for 10 months! x
well i am about to have my last meal for the day :/ then off to work for the morning and then gonna lay some eggies
DH and i were both anxious over night sleep was crap for both of us any way fingers crossed for a good number of eggies AND a sample just the same as last time!

Hi ladies- restarting our IVF journey after a few months off.
FS had recommended a lap, hysteroscopy an test for NKC.
2 options- have it done privately with her.... 6k out of pocket with no PHI.
Or go on the waiting list at the royal women's.
any ideas on the wait times?
OR
If I take out PHI- will this be classed as a pre- existing condition?
What would the wait times be like for that?
Emma, would you believe I have had this very conversation this morning!
I had an appointment with a new OB/GYN late last week and she recommended a lap for endo for me (to help with pain and IVF). She recommended Prof Martin Healy and to get it done end of the year (after I lose some more weight). I dont have PHI so I rang his rooms this morning for a "price list". His receptionist was lovely. She quoted $6k without PHI but Prof Healy also heads the Gyn. team at the RWH. She said I could go on the public list (no guarantee he will do it, but there is a good possibility) and the wait is about 3 months. She said it is a "good list" and the wait times are accurate.
I am about to ring my PHI (I have extras but not hospital) to ask about pre-existing, etc, but I am pretty sure it would be classed as pre-existing and wait times are usually 12 months. Will let you know how I go.
